Offthegrain Recenzje

We recently bought two solid oak shelves from Off The Grain and I’m really pleased with both the quality of the product and the customer service. The shelves themselves are beautifully made, solid and exactly what I was hoping for.
Delivery was slightly longer than expected, but as soon as my concern was raised, Off the Grain were straight on the case as soon as I got in touch. They kept me updated and got everything resolved ASAP, which was great customer service and really appreciated. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely recommend Off The Grain.

I placed an order with Off The Grain on 21st March for a garden box. The website stated 2-3 days to ship. What has followed is over two months of delays, an incorrect shipping number and no garden box.

Six weeks into my wait I posted a Google review reflecting my experience, the company text me offering 20% off to remove it. I declined and asked for delivery instead.

Eight weeks into my wait I was promised the item would ship within 7 days or I’d receive a refund.

Another week passed and when I chased I was told it still hadn’t shipped because the box was mispriced. The company said that if I removed my review, they would absorb the difference and dispatch it that day (for ref. there was a £90 difference between OTG and Garden Trading’s own website). In the interest of speed I agreed, removed my review, and received nothing.

I have now requested a full refund nearly ten weeks after placing my original order.

Off The Grain has repeatedly misled me about the order status and twice offered incentives to remove a genuine negative review, a breach of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act. I will be reporting this to the CMA, Google, and Shopify.

I appreciate the challenges of being a small business but my experience goes beyond what is reasonable - Avoid at all costs!!!!

We ordered a solid oak mantle shelf from off the grain. The product is fantastic and being finished in a natural way really enhances the fireplace and the fire within. Communication was good and nothing was left to chance with the protective packaging. I would recommend this workshop and would use them again.

My second order now and so impressed with the quality, well made with fixing kit provided. Great communication from the company too. Very happy!

The shelves I purchased from Off The Grain arrived quite quickly and they look gorgeous — beautiful wood. Strongly recommend this seller.

Brilliant experience, using Off the grain
For our solid oak mantel beam.
Clear communication throughout order which helps, quick replies and most of all the product beats expectations. The product arrives exactly as described.
Fitted the beam the night it arrived and honestly transformed our newly renovated lounge. I would not hesitate to use Off the grain or recommend to anyone looking for a small, fair and trustworthy business.

Oak Mantel, for above a log burner. Absolutely perfect. Great natural finish. Will use this company again. Good to have something made in England this well made.

Ordered a pair of wall shelves. Arrived quickly, well made and easy to install. The shelves are made from nice wood, really thick, rustic and chunky with matching brackets. Just what we wanted.

Excellent communication, service and finished product. The coat hooks are so professionally made and high-quality, I’ve not found an equivalent elsewhere. The wood has been well cared for and the addition of the shelf means it’s not only practical but attractive, too. Thank you, Off the Grain!

Good quality solid oak 62cm 4 hook coat rack.Took a while;le to be made but worth the wait.

Excellent communication. Response to my concerns re delivery date because of personal circumstances was understanding and helpful.
Product was excellent - just as advertised.

A coat rack is simple, but it can be a thing of beauty. The oak coat hanger is definitely that. It is relatively easy to put up with another pair of hands. I bought the 12 hook version, which was just a little too much for my solo D.I.Y. skills, so my wife helped out. Total time from unpacking and tidying was about 45 mins. It is well worth the money and the wait for delivery, as it is a small company that deserves support.

Amazing service from start to finish.
Fireplace beam is high quality and just what I was looking for.
Excellent customer service. Great delivery times.
Would highly recommend made would definitely buy from Off the grain again.

Good communication throughout. I was told when the order went into the workshop, when it was ready to ship and finally when it would arrive. Very happy with the quality of the products. I'd definitely recommend to others.

My wife wanted a small, solid wood TV stand for our bedroom. We searched high and low and eventually found the web site of 'Off The Grain'. We ordered the Saltburn Rustic TV stand which truly suited our needs. It took a wee bit longer for it to arrive, than first thought, but let me tell you, it was absolutely worth waiting for. It's lovely and so solid. Dominic and Helen kept me updated regularly on delivery times and I think part of the short delay was down to them moving into bigger premises, which seems to be a sure sign of growing success. I would definitely recommend them.

As the item was made to order I was kept informed of the timescales. When it arrived it was extremely well packaged. I am highly delighted with the coat rack and it is good to support a small local company here in Yorkshire rather than purchase something mass produced.

Having waited just over about three and half weeks for delivery, I have to say when the product arrived I was very pleased with it. I liked the design and the quality of the coat rack. It was also good to see the care that had gone into the packaging and protection which ensured it arrived in good shape. I look forward to putting up in my hallway and in service. Nice to get a follow up message from them after delivery; they seem to care about their business. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

Excellent quality, clearly crafted with care and skill. Head and shoulders above anything mass produced.

Delivery took a while but that’s clearly signposted when you order and it’s worth the wait, knowing you’re getting a bespoke product.

Really well made product, looks great and excellent customer service !

Offthegrain was a smooth buying experience right from the start. My Oak floating shelf is of the highest quality and very well made. The shelf was very well wrapped for shipping, and remained well protected. Huge thumbs up for this small business… we will be buying a few more now that we have seen the quality and craftsmanship. Thanks Don
