The item is secured in a wooden crate to protect the item in transit, the frame can be prised apart with a screwdriver or claw hammer which will release the pins holding the frame together.
We apologise that this is not what you were expecting but we try to ensure the packaging is sufficient enough to withstand the handling from third-party carriers

Great Company to deal with
I was recommended this company by a friend. They had exactly what I was looking for at a competitive price with immediate availability.
Unfortunately the wrong product was delivered but this mistake was handled quickly and efficiently, the wrong item was collected on a convenient day with the replacement, would thoroughly recommend this company.

Oak Furniture King won. UPS lost.
Oak Furniture King were polite, expeditious and professional. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same of the carrier UPS. Normally, they are efficient too but this time they damaged my parcel ( Glass Tables) and Oak Furniture King did not even know about it.
However, Oak Furniture staff were very helpful indeed and sent a replacement that I received safely within 48 hours.

A pleasure to deal with - having bought a lot of furniture recently as we are extending our house and dealing with all sorts of companies that are slow, don’t answer their phones, take your money and then don’t have the goods - and OakfurnitureLAND took FIVE months to deliver what I bought from them! Anyway OakfurnitureKING were quick, nice delivery and when I had ordered the wrong colour it was so easy to return and get the correct one - all within about a week of my first order, great customer service and nice people to deal with. Plus good prices as well.
