I booked a minibus in Feb 26 for a family holiday in July/Aug. I paid in full over £1800 and my booking was confirmed.
As my holiday is close, I thought I'd confirm delivery times. I have emailed every day for a week, phoned every day, remaining on the phone for hours. There's no response to anything.
I don't know if my booking is still on, or if I have been scammed!!
I am extremely upset and struggling to find a minibus to hire for my family's holiday in 2 weeks time.
I now believe this company is in financial difficulties. It is only a broker site, despite the professional look.
Reading other reviews and looking up the company details I am convinced this company is no longer viable, despite their website still taking business. If anyone has any info or advice PLEASE could they share it with me.

I would just like to ask if other uses of this company have experience the return of their deposit... as I have asked for my deposit to be returned and iam on my third month. And still have not had my deposit returned the same answer I have been given is its still under review.
Or that you can't get an answer over the phone.or a email takes 3 to 4days return with the same answer under review...the vehicle was over two hours late on arrival and then I had to spend 1 and half hours cleaning the inside from dog hair...would like an answer ...

No communication on how to pick up vehicle. No responses to emails. Despite booking months in advance, I had to book a vehicle through another company days before travel. No answer to phone calls or emails to get deposit refunded. Finally got deposit returned by going through credit card company.
Absolute shambles of an "organisation".

It’s disappointing to be writing this because I’ve used this company for my business on numerous occasions in the past. They were always excellent—answering the phone, responding to emails promptly, and delivering vehicles without fail.

Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been completely different. I booked a van to be delivered on 5 July 2026 and paid in full in advance. On the day of delivery, I was informed that the van was unavailable, despite my payment already having been taken.

As of 8 July 2026, I have still not received a refund of either my rental payment or deposit. My emails have gone unanswered, and nobody answers the phone.

I’ve also noticed that the company’s accounts appear to be overdue for filing, which, combined with the lack of communication, has left me with very little confidence. As a result, I have no option but to begin legal proceedings to recover my money.

It’s a real shame to see what was once a trusted company provide this level of service.

Despite a number of emails and phone calls we've been waiting for three weeks for Nationwide to pick up their hire vehicle that was used for a total of 3 days. Really not impressed, I'm hoping the car won't be damaged (and we won't be charged) as it's parked on the street.

The process was absolutely fine, the van had seen better days but I wasn't precious about this as I was borrowing a van to move home. What was exhausting was they simply would not refund my deposit and I had to request mastercard to intervene to refund my money.

You failed to deliver the 9-seater minibus we booked and paid for in January for 3rd July, without any explanation.
As a result, my husband, myself, and six pensioners were unable to travel on their long-planned holiday to Cornwall. By the time we realised that the vehicle would not be arriving (it just didn’t arrive) we made repeated calls, you're uncontactible just AI chat!! then it was too late to secure an alternative vehicle with another company being its peak season. Consequently, the trip had to be cancelled as we had no other means of transporting everyone.
We are extremely disappointed which is an understatement, particularly given the difficulty we have experienced in contacting your company and the inability to speak with a member of your team. Your lack of communication and failure to fulfil a confirmed booking is unacceptable, we literally have not heard anything from yourselves at all, all booking was confirmed and paid for way in advance which we checked then rechecked!
This situation has caused considerable stress and upset, and we will be advising others to take this experience into account when considering your services.
This level of service is highly unprofessional.

Still waiting on my deposit, avoid avoid like the plage

They don't refund your deposit. Competitive pricing but service leaves you frustrated. booking only properly confirmed week of delivery due, delivery time missed by hours and no communication to me, everything needs chased. the pick up was the completely wrong day. Van totally scraped and a mess, so no work undertaken to correct previous issues. Hadn't been cleaned and smelled of cigarettes.
I have chased and I still haven't received the security deposit.

worst service, terrible experience, late, vehicle not roadworthy, and they dont return deposit and charge for petrol and van turned up empty tank. No refund, no communication, and they take no responsiblity for any of it. i only hope people read the reviews

The worst company I have ever dealt with, I booked a van on a Sunday morning for the following Saturday. After putting in all my details and card information I finished the booking but got no confirmation emails or anything, I then proceeded to spend the next 3 days constantly calling them. Surprise surprise no answer at all just a message telling you to emails them but actually don't tell you the correct emails address but apparently you wil get a prompt response....Eventually I get an emails on the Thursday to tell me my reservation has been turned down due to no vehicle availability..absolutely disgusting now leaving me 1 day to try and sort out a van to move.

I received confirmation of my booking on 1 May 2026 and paid the full amount at the time of booking. The trip was scheduled for 23 May 2026, meaning the booking was made and confirmed nearly four weeks in advance.
To my surprise and disappointment, I received an email at approximately 7:00 PM on 22 May 2026—less than 24 hours before my scheduled trip—informing me that you were unable to provide the vehicle I had booked.
As a result of this cancellation, I have suffered significant inconvenience, stress, disappointment, and financial loss. The situation has affected me mentally, physically, and financially, and has caused considerable disruption to plans that had been made well in advance.

Raised an official complaint more than week before, no one even bothered to acknowledge the email, looking to take this company to tribunal now.

They sent a wrong car with 1 day delay. on top of this, I am still awaiting for my refund of security deposit. After returning the car, they have stopped picking my phone and have not responded to any emails.

If I could put zero stars I would have. This is my second review to downgrade even further from the last one. I have still not received my deposit back! I did however proceed to lodge a case with the County Court and have had them issue a County Court Judgement. So, we will see if I get it back this week as they have been ordered to do so now. Maybe a route, everyone else who has been conned on here, to go down?

Agree with many others. Nothing wrong with vehicle and delivery but getting deposit back is a nightmare

WORST Vehicle Rentals in UK. This team runs by a team of FRUDS. We booked van 6months prior to our trip and paid full amount. ON THE DAY OF OUR TRIP THEY FAILD TO PROVIDE THE VAN AND RUINED OUR ENTIRE TRIP PLAN.
Now they are holding our money and they are not giving it back. We called and emailed them. But no response. Poor customer service.
