no return cosmetics

I bought 2 mini fragrances on 11/2/2024 from NOrdstrom RAck in Glendale Avenue, Glendale, CA. I went back to the store yesterday, 11/6/2024 to return/exchange said items. I was told there was not return on cosmetics and fragrances are cosmetics. I said it did not say so in my receipt. The cashier/manager replied that there are signs posted around the store. I said that I did not see any sign (I actually took pictures before I left) to which the reply was : 'it's in our website'. I did check the website and it says : "Beauty items are final sale, unless otherwise specified." Who ever checks the website before going shopping? I believe it should be in the receipt or have signage in the display shelves/check out counter.

I purchased a $650 bag that was…

I purchased a $650 bag that was delivered to the new store in Omaha. I picked up the bag which was in a shipping box and when I got it home to open it up, I realized they sent me the wrong bag. The bag they sent me was not my style at all and $200 less than the bag I ordered and wanted. I contacted customer service which is the worst CS I've ever received. They wanted me to pay an additional $650 to send a replacement. When I told them no....they can send the replacement once I return the bag they insisted on getting my Credit Card info to "hold" just in case. What???!! This business is a scam.

Frustrated

Well, I tried ordering some items from the website, but I didn't know that's user unfriendly.
1- I ordered on website as a guest, but it wouldn't let me use gift card & credit card together. Played for 30 min. Then I figured to call Customer service for help.
2- Wow what a mistake getting hold of customer service. She couldn't figure out how to help me, so she asked me to delete my order because she'll just make a new order for me. So I gave in and let her enter in my order, boy what a process. Had to spell everything out, I guess their customer service is connected to a call center, sweet polite lady answered my call, but she kept messing up the item number entry, so she kept getting different prices than I had, so I just thanked her, said goodbye and hung up. That was 30 min.
3- Back to the website again, re-entered all my items again, entered gift card and credit card info, but the system kept trying to have me apply for their credits card, which I didn't want, finally after 3 times I was able to check out and submit my payment. But something didn't look right on the receipt. It only showed my credit card being charged for the entire bill, no sign of gift card.
4- Back to calling customer service, different location, different person.🤔🤔🤔 explained everything, they informed me that only my credit card is being charged. So I asked them that it needs to be changed because I'm trying to use the $50 balance from my gift card. Now they tell me again that they can cancel that order and help me place my order manually. I explained to them that I don't feel comfortable giving my card number, according to him they were going to send a link to me to enter my credit info so this way they won't have my info. I had to put my thinking hat on. So I asked him why can't they take my cancelled order and just re-enter it but add my gift card info since they have all the other info in the system
5- Finally, getting somewhere , he agreed and 20 min later I have a confirmation that my order is complete.
6- so what did I learn during the hour forty-five minutes trying to use my Nordstrom rack GC. That giving GC could be a nightmare for the recipient, from now I'm giving cash, and if anyone gives me Nordstrom GC I will be regifting it to my enemy, keep them occupied with the call center 😕😕😕
By the way no discount offered by customer service for wasting my hour forty five minutes to use their user unfriendly system. Which call center did confirm that they received many calls with the same issue

Nordstrom Rack, Glades, Boca Raton,

Went to the store in Boca Raton, on Glades Road. The lady Maribel working in the dressing room was beyond rude. She never said “excuse me” or “please” I asked her if I could have the bigger room as I was my daughter and she said “wait!” , as the store announced they were closing she started slamming every door in the dressing room so loudly as to scare customers. Then even when I brought all the clothes in my hands back on hangers, she then shouted at me as I was leaving “where is the number ?!! This is not the way to treat a client. To shout, give an attitude, try to intimidate. When I asked her for her name as I needed to complaint. She says GO Ahead! Basically , she used to treat people like this and fears no repercussions. Really bad look for Nordstrom rack.

Horrible Customer Service

I spend so much money at the Rack. Today I went in to return a pair of pants that I received yesterday. I was at the store on Colorado Blvd in Denver. Monica who was handling my return, insisted loudly that I had worn the pants and was not willing to return them. All of the tags were attached and the box said it was delivered yesterday. She made such a scene and called someone over, who told her to return it. She looked at me and told me she will make a one time exception to return this item just once. I never even wore them. She made sure everyone in the store new and completely embarrased me. I guess we cannot easily return our online orders any longer. Its too bad. I use to love shopping online at Nordstromrack, but not for service like this.

Nordstrom package delivered but empty

Ordered 2 pairs of gucci sunglasses and the package arrived empty. There were no items inside. On contactin nordstrom their delivery research team just sent an email that they investigated and the item was delivered at the said shipping address.They did not even care to understand my concern properly when I said that the package was delivered but the items inside were not there. Wish I had read the reviews earlier about Nordstrom and their shipping company Lasership where the package was not either delivered or empty package delivered. Did not expect this kind of service from Nordstrom. They are simply denying any kind of refund/replacement witthout proper investigation.

Great quality and great selection

Oh, my Lord, I don't know why there are so many bad reviews for this store in this site. I love this store. Their quality is outstanding, and their prices are reasonable. Their items are different, unique. I have had the most helpful assistants, and I have been able to return two items without hesitation. I have ordered online with confidence.

This store has just went down

This store ha just went down. I shopped there on line with my gift card and Nordstrom Rack took my gift card and canceled my order and told me it would be 5-7 days before I could get a refund. So now I’m out of 154.00.

They sell items they don’t have

They sell items they don’t have, then cancel your order later. Tried to then cancel my other item (that I only ordered because I was ordering something else) and ‘Sara’ the customer service rep said she would not waive shipping costs (and tried to initially appease me by saying she was waiving restocking fees, which I wasn’t subject to anyway). Horrible customer service and totally undependable. Stay way.

Pathetic business practices.

I ordered a pair of new balance shoes from their online store. I recieved them in a timely manner, however, the shoes weren’t to my liking, and I wanted to initiate a return. That is when I learned that Nordstrom‘s will only return the subtotal amount (not the taxes and not the shipping). But that’s not even the worst part, they try and charge you an additional $10 for restocking fee! HAHA! So on a $79 pair of shoes, I will get back $58!

I contacted their so-called “customer care text messaging service”, and that was literally pointless, because the person that I spoke with was one of the most brainless and unhelpful people that I’ve ever encountered.

I will be calling in to their customer care line tomorrow to let them know what I think of their shady business practices. This is the first ever encounter with this low budget thieving company, and I assure you that it will be my last!

Absolutely disgusting, do not buy from this company, I ordered two pairs of boots over 6 months ago, needless to say I haven’t received them and they won’t give me a refund!

This business is the worst there is for retail. Unfortunately associates and management stand around talking while customers are shopping, without regard to helping or interacting. If management is leaning on fixtures while talking to other associates this is disgraceful.

I ordered at Nordstrom Rack…

I ordered at Nordstrom Rack unfortunately I wanted to cancel. I wrote on the chat and on the SMS number no one helped me cancel it. I ordered it only 3 hours ago and there is no way to cancel. I do not recommend this store it is the worst that customer support is not helpful. What the hell is there a chat and numbers if no one wants to help. I will never shop at this store again.

No customer service/ Dated online Infrastructure

Was trying to place an order for 25+ items. I have a customer number and purchase in store always. I tried to complete my account online after a two-step verification process. You know, the process that proves it’s me. It didn’t let me finish, told me to wait 24 hours or call the Provided number. I call the number, no one can fix the 24 hour BS. The supervisor Michelle can’t/won’t do anything and refused to call tech again. She said she could take my order. A 25 piece verbal order sounds like a hell I’d rather not visit. The tech department (which has to be the people who can’t get real tech jobs because this system is about 5 years behind the rest of online commerce). Guess I’m not shopping here. I come here and see their rating is in the toilet. Nordstrom used to be a good store one of the best, now it’s just like all the other money grabbers w/ zero customer service. Nordstrom, having your Customer service agents constantly apologize profusely while not fixing any problems is called gaslighting. It is a type of manipulation. I never want to hear another apology from a customer service agent.

Lost my package and made me ask for a refund

I ordered during one of the clear the rack sales. First it was delayed several times then they lost almost my whole order. On the tracking page they requested I ask for a refund- ridiculous when they lost it order and how does that even happen with tracking systems these days?! They also refused to replace the items that were lost. I asked for a reference number for the chat where I asked for the refund- they said the reference number for the conversation was my order number… it shocks me that they have this bad of service and are still around. I’m still waiting for the email that says the investigation for my refund is happening- I’m sorry you need to investigate anything when your page says you lost the package? It should be an immediate refund. Last time I order from them.
