Terrible,terrible service

Terrible customer service

I just purchased a designer sunglasses (pucci at Nordstrom Rack as a Christmas gift. The fit was a bit off, maybe with everyone trying it on. I asked the sales representative, if they offer a service to adjust the glasses and was told yes-at Nordstrom, just take my receipt and show them. She called and verified. I went to Nordstrom and was told “No”, by the representative. I explained that I just purchased the sunglasses and the sales representative called and verified the service. I requested a manager, the manager agreed their offer that service, but her employee refused to do it. I went to LensCrafters who did not hesitate to offer the service for free !! What a shame Nordstrom, Pack Meadows Mall, Colorado !!! I wasn’t asking for a discount or free service, FYI, I am not a white customer.

Very disappointed with my last…

Very disappointed with my last experience. After receiving notification regarding my online order Pickup and going to the store to retrieve it. Upon awaiting patiently over 30min for the Supervisor and other team members while they search the pickup area for my item, he came back and took my phone number so he could contact me after it was found. Feeling very disappointed, frustrated and confused, I asked them to go ahead and check the floor to if they had any of that item available in the store and to my surprise, they found my item on the floor. Apparently another team member took my item from the Pickup area and placed it back on the floor. Supervisor apologized numerous times but I was still very disappointed.

Purchased a pair of Uggs boots on…

Purchased a pair of Uggs boots on November 29th and was told my boots will be delivered at my local mall on December 12th. Whenever I track my purchase it still says “ preparing for pick up” said the same thing since I placed the order. So I chatted with customer support on the 12th and asked for an update and she informed me that FedEx was running behind and that I’ll receive my purchase soon. So today ( Dec 14th) I chatted with another rep, just for an update to see if their been any movement with my purchase and this rep told me the same thing I can see for myself that it’s still listed as “ preparing for pick up” and my promised delivery date was yesterday. Then she told me to be a little more patient since it is the holidays. Sooooo my thing is, how was one rep able to see details from FedEx ( which it’s weird that we can’t see our own tracking info in details) but another rep telling me what I already see for myself as the status? This was my first and LAST time purchasing from this company. I understand it’s the holidays but at the same time, how two reps telling me two different things? You couldn’t see anything from FedEx as well? Tell me something other than “ be patient it’s the holidays” if this were your money you would be questioning things as well and from reading the reviews, I should’ve went elsewhere.

Shoes Fall Apart

Bought a pair of shoes, 2 months later they fell apart. Nordstrom Rack won’t let you review them or refund your money. The only reason why they had a high rating is people review items before they wear them. How stupid is that!!!!!

Olympia Nordstrom Rack Customer Service

This is about the Nordstrom Rack in Olympia, Washington and an experience I had on the evening of December 13. I have been shopping at Nordstrom for over 60 years, back when it was Nordstrom Best in downtown Seattle and at Bellevue Square before it turned into a giant mall. I usually shop Bellevue or downtown Seattle because I tend to purchase more designer products (Burberry, Gucci, Prada) as investment pieces less frequently throughout the year. Sometimes I buy staple pieces online, and if I need to return them, I take them to the local Rack.

If I could give the Olympia Rack a negative star rating, I would. I purchased a sweater online that had a timeframe associated with its return (sometime in March 2025). There was no other information other than a caveat on the return window provided when I generated the return barcode on my phone. I took it to the nearby Rack, and the woman behind the counter tore the bag open, scanned the return barcode and told me it wasn't returnable. Then she essentially threw it on the counter, shoved it back at me in a wad, and backed away from the counter, as if she was disgusted, even bothered that I was there. The woman next to her told me that I could return it to the vendor with the return label I received when I generated the return, and I told both of them I didn't receive a return label, just a barcode. Then the one who threw the sweater literally marched (or stormed?) off to her break, and the other one just sort of smirked and said sorry. I was stunned.

I have never received such poor customer service in a Nordstrom store in my life. It was as if they were doing me a great favor even interacting with me and doing what I assume they are being paid to do. I had a sweater to return and no way to return it, and quite frankly, it was clear that neither of them could be bothered.

I walked around the store a bit to sort of gather myself, and decided to speak to the manager, who then told me that Nordstrom started using more third party vendors and there were different return policies for these products. I mentioned that there was no return label anywhere on the return request I generated on the app. She told me I could take it back to a Nordstrom store, which was helpful. She also mentioned that Nordstrom had been offering these types of products for about three months, and still had some logistics to iron out. She was helpful, and I appreciated her assistance. I didn't tell her about her horrible staff, but offered that maybe giving a bit more information online might be useful. Even so, the most concerning part of this experience was the way I was treated by the two women cashiers, and how shocking it is to be treated so poorly - essentially no assistance at all - by Nordstrom employees.

I worked at Nordstrom early in my career (1980s), in petites and then as a personnel manager. We were all about exceptional customer service. That's what Nordstrom is (was?) known for. I won a Customer Service Allstar award during my second year with the company, and I remember receiving it in person from Bruce Nordstrom at the downtown Seattle store. My guess is that if he had seen these two women in action, he would have fired them on the spot. I know I would have.

Come on, Nordstrom. You can do better.

Extremely Disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Nordstrom Rack. I ordered a pair of boots, and although the tracking showed they were delivered, I never received them. When I tried reaching out to customer service through their app, I was met with immediate rejection. They refused to issue a refund or replacement without even attempting to investigate the situation or reach out to me for more details.

I then tried contacting customer service via email, hoping for a better resolution, but was only met with generic, unhelpful responses. None of my specific questions were addressed, and I was simply told to contact USPS. When I tried to file a claim with USPS, I needed the mailer's address, so I reached out to Nordstrom Rack once more. Again, I was ignored, and their response was just another generic reply with no useful information.

The lack of empathy or effort to resolve this issue has left me incredibly frustrated. I've been a loyal customer of Nordstrom Rack for years, but this experience has completely changed my perspective. The customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful, and I am left without the boots I paid for, with no support in sight. It's extremely disappointing, and I will be hesitant to shop here again in the future.

I am writing as a loyal Nordstrom Rack customer to bring to your attention an unfortunate incident that occurred on December 10, 2024, at 5:33 PM at the Nordstrom Rack Park Meadows Marketplace Store (#36).

During our visit, my friends and I had an unpleasant experience with Cashier Qiumei W. While we were at her register attempting to exchange some items, we were confused about the process and the distinction between an exchange and a return/re-purchase. Instead of helping clarify the situation, Qiumei W. was rude and displayed a poor attitude toward us.

From the moment we approached her register, she appeared irritated. As she began scanning our items, she gave us unfriendly looks, especially toward one of my friends who was wearing a scarf. When she asked if we were returning the items, we explained that we believed it was an exchange, albeit not fully understanding the terms. Instead of providing clarification, she seemed annoyed and visibly upset with us, even going so far as to appear disgusted by our lack of knowledge.

I tried to de-escalate the situation by asking if she was upset and encouraging her to relax, to which she dismissively responded, “I am relaxed.” Her tone and demeanor were unprofessional and far below the standard of customer service we have come to expect from Nordstrom Rack.

Feeling unwelcome, we decided to move to another cashier—a male employee who treated us kindly, started with a friendly greeting, and conducted the transaction professionally. Before leaving her register, I asked Qiumei W. for her name, and she printed a brief survey slip that displayed her name and other information. She then said, "Go ahead, leave a bad review, I do not care."

Observing how Qiumei W. treated other customers with courtesy, it became clear that her behavior toward us was discriminatory, likely based on race or religion, as my friend was wearing a scarf.

We spoke with the on-site manager, who listened to our concerns, but we are unsure if this matter was addressed with Qiumei W. This behavior is unacceptable and does not align with the inclusive and professional environment Nordstrom Rack is known for. We have visited multiple locations in Denver over the years and have never encountered such an unpleasant experience.

I trust that Nordstrom Rack values its customers and upholds its reputation for excellent service. I urge you to review this matter carefully and take appropriate action to ensure that such incidents do not occur again. Qiumei W.’s attitude and behavior reflect poorly on your brand and do not align with the values of equality and respect that Nordstrom embodies. If she does not enjoy her role, perhaps it is worth considering whether it is the right fit for her.

I've been a frequent buyer at Norstrom…

I've been a frequent buyer at Norstrom Rack. The last few times there were clothes all over the floors. They over stock the racks where customers have difficulty viewing them and simply drop them on the floor. Yesterday was like going to a dog park. Huge dogs roaming the store and toppling over the cloths on the floor. I'm allergic to dogs and these cloths are put back on the racks for purchase. I decided to exit and store and go else where. I will not return to the rack.

If i could give -stars i would. I ordered my cousin a pair of uggs on Cyber Monday and today I just received a message that my order was canceled due to the item being out of stock. Well I go on the site just to see if they are in fact out of stock… You wanna know what I saw?? The boots are 100% available and listed at 50 dollars more than what i purchased them for. Super ethical right? So I call the customer service, the guy on the line says he can replace the order for me at the price listed on the website. No?? I ordered them and you all canceled my order fraudulently i'm not going to pay 50 more dollars because you don't know how to be ethical?? Wont order another thing from these scammers.

Excellent customer service interaction

I had a problem with processing a payment for an online order. So, I called customer support. I got a person very fast. She was very nice and very patient with me to try and solve the problem. After a number of tries, we came to find out that the problem was on my end, and we solved it. She was awesome. I am impressed. People like her make the world a better place.

The worst customer service I experienced shopping at Nordstrom Rack

The first purchase was a coat and when I received it still had the security tag on it. The second was some boots I order it on Nov 8 supposed to receive it on Nov 14 and I still don’t have the boots. I asked for a refund the delivery research department has responded back or issue a refund. I will never make another purchase. The customer service has provided no assistance and im fighting with them daily to get my money back

Worst Customer Service…

Ordered online and canceled 5 minutes after ordering. Called to make sure it was canceled and they said they couldn't cancel the order. Are they so broke that they won't cancel orders. Horrible customer service. Don't bother requesting a canceling right away they WON'T do it.

Best discount store for clothes

The products can be found inside the stores so it's better than an "outlet" store. The customer service is good. And my toddler ran away once so I contacted an employee who happened to have a walkie talkie and they were quick to guard the door, very responsive, very impressive. This was in 2008 but I will state today's date since I can't choose that date.

First and last time at Crocker park…

First and last time at Crocker park store. Store was disheveled. Shoe department isles were so small. 2 small stools to sit on and had to wait to use one. I’m going to buy $80.00 shoes and can’t try them on anywhere? Couldn’t believe There were 3 dogs in the store. It was raining the day I was there. Kept thinking if I had bought something it would be covered with dog hair and smell like wet dog. How are dogs allowed in a retail store where there is fabric? Disgusting store.
