WARNING SCAM WEBSITE
WARNING. WARNING. Do not purchase anything from this website. IT IS A SCAM WEBSITE. They claim to be Nora Blake London but it is in fact Chinese based with all funds being sent to Dubai. They are not registered on Companies House and do not have a shop in Covent Garden. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I recently bought a pair of chelsea boots from Nora Blake and after waiting for 2 weeks for delivery, what eventually arrived was nothing like the advertised picture, they were 2-3 sizes too small and very cheaply made. Basically, Chinese tat. They are copying an image of a genuine, quality product and then sending you a cheap imitation that is nothing like what was advertised.
When you complain and ask to return the item and be refunded they intially refuse and then after further pressing, they say that they will refund you if you send the item back to China (at your expense).
If you read all of the reviews below you will see that this is what everyone experiences(ignore the pithy comebacks from Nora Blake)
I have not returned the boots as it would obviously cost too much and there is no chance that I would be refunded. Instead I have taken the hit and used the experience as a wake up call. Wish I had checked trust pilot first.
It also worth noting that there are other websites run by the same group that are operating the same scam. Montford&Co, Wright London, Hudson & Clarke, Montleigh, Armour Sermon etc. All of these websites are based in Ottawa, Canada.
If, like me, you have been scammed by these sites, I urge you to report these sites to National Fraud Intellignece Bureau (NFIB), the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Google.
In response to your response below:
Sending an item that is different to what was pictured and advertised on your website is fraud.
My online banking statement gives me details of the transaction and it clearly states: Retailer Name = Nora Blake, Retailer Location = Dubai
People can see from your poor reviews (78% 1 star) that you have history of ripping people off and hence should be avoided.
