Thanks for the feedback! Our European Mystery Box can contain a shirt from any European club, from some of the biggest names to smaller and lesser-known teams across the continent, so Spanish second-division and French teams would be within what you can receive.

If you’ve received the same team twice, please get in touch with our customer service team so we can check the notes on your previous orders and help with an exchange.
The logo coming away after washing is also something we’d definitely like to look into. Please send us your order number and some photos of the affected shirt and we’ll get this sorted for you.

I have given 2 stars because it arrive perfectly on time but when I opened it it had a security tag on it and when you go to return it you have to pay minimum £2.99 for the return so they are getting more money out of me

Please arrange the return through our Returns Portal and make sure you select the correct return reason relating to the fault/security tag. You will not be charged for the return, and we can get this resolved for you.

Poor delivery experience, but good recovery and a great shirt
I originally left a negative review because I paid for 48-hour delivery, but my parcel was delayed for over a week and the Royal Mail tracking showed no progress. I was also sent an automated email asking me to review the shirt before I had even received it, which was frustrating.
Mystery Football investigated and eventually discovered that the shipping label had been damaged in transit and the parcel had been returned to them. Once they found it, they repackaged it and sent it back out via express delivery.
I have now received the box and got a Manchester City x KidSuper 2025 Club World Cup goalkeeper shirt, which I’m really happy with. It’s an official Puma shirt from a major club, originally retailed at considerably more than the £42 I paid, so I’m happy with the value and the actual mystery pull.
The initial delivery experience was disappointing and communication could have been quicker, but credit where it’s due: customer service investigated the issue, explained what happened and resolved it properly.
Overall, a frustrating start but a much better ending.

I can’t show off my pull as I didn’t get one £36 I paid…waited in on day of delivery…to get a notification to say it’s in a black bin…I went out checked my rubbish bin, checked with neighbors nothing! No one had knocked at my door or been in my garden when it was “delivered” customer service is shit,slow and pointless I’ve cancelled subscription and done a charge back on my bank! Personally I’d suggest avoiding this company…what ever happened to the customer is always right?

Hi, we’re really sorry for the frustration caused here. As discussed with you directly, the delivery photo provided by Royal Mail shows the parcel being left at a property that you’ve confirmed is not your address.

We completely understand how frustrating it is when a parcel is marked as delivered but hasn’t reached you, and we appreciate your patience while we work to put this right.
Selling items that are out of stock
Selling items that are out of stock! After paying £400 plus next day delivery, get in contact with them to ask why it hasn’t been shipped, they respond 7 days after purchase that they have basically sold items that they didn’t have in stock, the solution is they will be getting stock soon!! Absolutely appalling customer service and appalling way to run a business!! STAY AWAY!! Plenty of other companies out there with same prices and way better customer service!!

We're disappointed to see this review, as it is inaccurate.
To clarify, your order wasn't delayed because we'd sold stock we didn't have. Your order contained 9 x Premium Mystery Football Shirt Boxes in size Large, and at the time we came to pack it, we didn't have nine different Premium L shirts available. Rather than send duplicate shirts within the same order, we placed your order on hold to protect the quality of your purchase.
We did contact you to explain this and let you know your order was on hold while we awaited a restock. We appreciate you may not have seen that email before getting in touch.
We understand the delay was frustrating, particularly as you selected next-day delivery, and we apologise for that. However, our priority was to ensure you received nine different Premium shirts rather than compromise the order by sending duplicates.
If you'd still like to discuss your order, please contact our customer service team and we'll be happy to help.
Can't say a bad word against them
So first off let me say that I have tried several different stores for mystery shirts and to be fair I didn't have a great experience one didn't arrive and my emails were ignored and the other sent me fake tops and despite evidence showing how it was fake I got no refund and eventually just got ignored so a friend recommended you and I couldn't say a bad word against you I have had 3 orders and each top has been amazing I have received Al Ittihad 25 home Al Hilal 25/26 home and Santo Laguna's 25/26 third kit. I would say that I am a bit picky as I never take UK teams and I am not a fan of slim fit tops so the fact that the team went out of their way to ensure that I didn't receive either speak volumes on their attention to detail and I don't think I will use another retailer for these tops. Amazing work folks!

Don’t waste your money!! Bought the mystery football box for £25 and we were sent a ball from 2023 that I could buy brand new from a shop for £10!! I know part of the fun is the surprise but when you e been scammed out of £15 it really isn’t worth it!!

Our Mystery Footballs contain official, licensed footballs from leading manufacturers such as adidas, Nike and Puma. As with all official sports equipment, retail prices can vary significantly depending on the retailer, promotions and whether a particular model has been discounted since its original release.
If another retailer heavily discounts an item, this doesn't change the fact that it's an official, genuine football from a leading brand, or change the value of our Mystery Box.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry the ball you received didn't meet your expectations.

Did exactly as promised. Can’t understand the negative reviews - it’s not about what you might have paid for the shirt if you’d sourced it directly, the whole point is that it’s a surprise!!! (But avoiding any teams / leagues you don’t want.) My son was thrilled with Olympic Marseilles - we looked them up to find out more about them, and his dad told him all about Chris Waddle. Great business to deal with, buying more as gifts.

Our Mystery Football Boxes are selected completely at random, so while we always do our best to provide a wide variety of clubs, it's possible to receive shirts from the same country across separate orders.
We can accommodate requests to avoid specific teams or certain leagues (such as the Premier League), but we can't guarantee a particular country or continent, unless ordering one of our more specific Mystery Boxes, for example the European Mystery Football Shirt Box.
We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll consider giving us another try in the future.

Dreadful service
Dreadful service. Sent a duplicate top and when they replaced it it was another duplicate and then they sent July’s which was another duplicate. Surely they have a system where they record what they send out!

The duplicate sent as part of your subscription was our mistake, and we apologised for this and provided a free returns label so we could resolve it.
However, the replacement shirt was processed as a separate exchange order rather than part of your active subscription. As with all one-time orders, we don't carry over subscription order history, and no order notes were included with the exchange request.
We do keep track of shirts sent through active subscriptions, but standalone orders and exchanges require any teams or previous shirts to be noted in the comments box at the time of ordering.
We're sorry this experience didn't meet your expectations and appreciate your feedback.
Not worth the money
Ordered the mystery box after looking at the football shirt brands they represent. I received a 'Millennium Sportswear' brand shirt (not listed anywhere on Mystery Football's brands). The kit is a team from Cape Verde (barely recognised as professional) and there is no record of the kit even being authentic. Very Disappointed with this.

We don't publish a definitive list of every brand or manufacturer we stock, as our inventory is constantly changing. The brands shown on our website and marketing are examples rather than an exhaustive list.

For future orders, we'd recommend using the comment box at checkout to let us know which specific teams you've previously received or would like to avoid. That helps us avoid sending duplicate teams wherever possible.

AVOID!
Ordered 9 x shirts on a Sunday with express delivery.
As per tracking, label wasn’t even created until Tuesday 5PM (despite saying they’d been collected at 12PM)
Zero movement after that, until Friday said ‘returned to sender’ - throughout email communications were unapologetic and didn’t empathise.
We ended up ordering from classic football shirts which actually arrived next day. Avoid MysteryFootball, bad comms and bad customer service.

We'd just like to clarify a couple of points. Your order was dispatched on Tuesday morning, and a dispatch confirmation email was sent to you at that time. Unfortunately, after Royal Mail collected the parcel, they were unable to progress the delivery and it was subsequently marked as returned to sender.
While we completely understand how frustrating this was, particularly given the time-sensitive nature of your order, this was unfortunately outside of our control. We fulfilled and dispatched the order as expected, but courier issues can occasionally occur.
