A lot of false advertisement on instagram. edit: after pressing about cali laws (Business and Professions Code Sections 17600–17606) they refunded the full amount

I too bought a 4 week programme from them with a discounted price. But a few weeks later they charged me with a subscription fee which is now recurring.
Have been in touch with customer service (Hannah) and they have agreed to cancel all future payments however they will not give me a refund for this subscription… I did not sign up for it!! They say they are willing to give me half of my money back. This is an absolute outrage and a scam. Somebody needs to stop this company. I will be escalating to the appropriate authorities
UPDATE: company have contacted me and provided a full refund now.

Une arnaque ! Je viens de constater un prélèvement de 59,70€, alors que je n’utilise absolument pas l’application. Je l’ai installé suite à ce prélèvement pour essayer de me connecter : je n’ai pas accès à un compte existant et il est bien spécifié que je n’ai pas d’abonnement ! C’est une honte, j’exige un remboursement auprès d’eux mais obtenir un remboursement ne suffit pas car je n’ai pas à perdre mon temps et mon énergie de la sorte à cause d’eux ! Je suis vraiment outrée.

False advertising
I clicked on an Instagram advert claiming the Asian Pilates app was free, but it wasn’t - not even one workout. This is false advertising, which is frustrating and undermines trust. A genuine free trial would be a far more honest and effective way to attract users.

Advertised as FREE?????
Was just about to sign up to a 4 week plan with these folks so not sure what they’re like. However, decided to go read some of the reviews & got a little panicked that it was a scam. Reviewers complained of repeat charges when they thought it was a 1 off purchase! It clearly is an ongoing subscription charge after the initial trial period.
My issue is that the advertising for tai chi walking on instagram says it is now free & that is a BLATANT LIE!!
Luring people in with discounted rates is one thing, hiding the ongoing subscription (which this app does not hide) is another, but Outright lying is a little low.
Will think about it now as I don’t like liars.

Realizamos una compra por 1 mes y de manera automática nos renovaron por importe de 39,97 US$. Tras notificarles por mail de este procedimiento no autorizado, respondieron en solo 30 minutos, un domingo e intentaron realizar un abono parcial de 20 US$. Tras nuestra negativa habiendo pagado por paypal, al día siguiente teníamos el abono total del importe. Es una pena actúen así, porque la App es realmente interesante y válida. Si intentaran convencer personalmente via mail probablemente convencerían a mucha mas gente de la que se olvida y paga automaticamente.

Exploitative practices
These people don’t send receipts or acknowledge that you are signed up for their subscription in any way shape or form so you just get charged even if you have never used the app. When you reach out to them, they say oh well we can refund you $15 per our policy after charging me $150 unacknowledged . This type of exploitative business practice should be illegal. Shame on you.

Amazing app
Love the app! I really enjoy how clear and easy the exercise demonstrations are — they make it simple to follow along and feel confident I’m doing everything correctly. I also like that the program starts gently, which is perfect for beginners like me who are just getting into Pilates.
The meal plans I’ve tried so far are delicious and surprisingly filling! I do wish there was an option in the app to customize or log alternative ingredients. I’m lactose intolerant, so I often swap out dairy products, and it would be super helpful to be able to track those changes.
I follow a mostly pescatarian diet, so I sometimes struggle to find a plan that fits my preferences exactly. The one I’m using now is close, but it includes a bit more rice and grains than I’d like. A slightly better balance with more veggie and protein options would make it perfect.
Other than that, I absolutely love the app and how easy it makes staying consistent. I’m on day 11 and already down 5 lbs — feeling stronger and more flexible every day! 😍

Please be very careful when you sign up. This company was taking money from my account for 18months. I believed that I had signed up for one month, to realise it had carried on for 18 months because they automatically renew your subscription.
