Very helpful experience
I found this website this morning after doing a bit of research, went shopping but was unable to checkout. I email customer services and got a reply for Patricia who was ever so helpful and managed to sort everything out for me. She even sent me a link with my order so all i had to do was pay. Very Very helpful and i would highly recommend this company. Patricia you are a star thank you very much for all your help today.

My Liquorice - Advent Calendar
I pre ordered a "My Liquorice" Advent Calendar as a birthday gift for a friend of mine who has a birthday in early November.
I was a little concerned it wouldn't be delivered on time so I wrote to My Liquorice customer services and received a reply from a lovely lady called Patricia who promised me she would put it on a prioritized delivery, and I should expect it next week.
I am delighted to say it arrived today much earlier than anticipated.

Fantastic customer service.
I am a regular customer and love all the different sweets I have tried. On a previous order I had redeemed some rewards but they got lost. I messaged and got a very quick response. I then placed an order with the rewards. Unfortunately there was a fault and order wouldn’t go. Once again messaged and Patricia sorted it all out for me. Plus got 10% discount. All that and the most amazing sweets ever. I could not be happier.

Bad delivery times
I placed an order on Sunday and paid extra for 24 hours by Royal Mail. The order was not processed until the next Tuesday, and the following Friday, the package has still not been delivered. I got offered a 10% discount on the next purchase as compensation which I find rather insulting. There are better companies out there for your liquorice needs that actually deliver on time!

Responding to the company reply: More lies from the company. They registered this delivery to be handed over to Royal Mail on Tuesday but did actually not pass on the parcel to Royal Mail (a common scam way to avoid breaking promises). A 10% discount for a future order is frankly insulting. Shame on you!

We apologise for this delay in your order.
We do say online that it takes us between 1-3 days to process your order (it is all weighed, sealed and packed by hand) and and then first class post takes a further 1-2 days. We never promise delivery of an order in 24 hours.
We got your order on Monday morning and posted it out to you the next day (we were awaiting stock of one of your items) and so it should have been with you by yesterday (Thurs).
Delivery is out of our hands and in the care of Royal Mail who are normally very good (which is why we continue to use them). Unfortunately there seems to have been a slight delay in the postal system but Royal Mail are delivering it to you tomorrow (Sat). Very easy to order the Liquorice from an extensive menu.
Prompt delivery and was packed well. Love that you use Royal Mail so parcels can be diverted to the local post office if not convenient for home delivery. The Liquorice is very tasty and of high quality. I will use this company again.

Awful product with very poor customer service
Just received a bag of My Liquorice as a present and have to say it is totally inedible. Some flavours are meant to be salty but I found the whole bag was so overly salty it couldn’t be eaten and had transferred to the non salty varieties. Did contact the company before leaving this review and offer to return the purchase for them to examine, sadly they didn’t want to know. Don’t waste your money, nothing good to say about My Liquorice from my experience.

We are sorry that this customer didn't like our Gourmet Mix but we have to disagree with them, as would the hundreds of customers that order and love this product each week. No-one has ever said our product is "inedible" before, or that all 12-22 different types in there, from different countries, all tastes the same.
The bags we send out are delivered within a few days of them being mixed up and sealed and there is no strongly scented, or liquorice with loose salt on it, in there.
All our liquorice is fully explained on the website, along with customer reviews and pictures for everyone to see before they order.
Might there be some in there that a customer dislikes ? yes that's quite possible, it is an extensive range and everyone has their own preferences.
Does that make our product "awful" or "inedible " ? no, it doesn't, it simply makes it not to your taste or liking.
If perhaps someone has ordered in haste or ordered for someone else not knowing their preferences (as in this case) then we would offer a discount on a future purchase as a courtesy. We don't accept open returns for obvious hygiene reasons and we ask customers to send us a photograph instead. In this case we are awaiting a reply to our E mail.

Wow...where do I start with these guy's...just received my order of the Chocolate Gift Box and once again am blown away by the service and quality not to mention they're DELICIOUS...this is around my 7th or 8th order and I've not been disappointed once by anything I've ordered...Give these guy's a try you'll not be sorry... Oh the flavours of the gods!!
Oh, how amazing is this. The liquorice stands out from the rest by miles. The delivery is quick and I have found I have most of the flavours. The only ones I struggle with is wasp stings, but boy they are so different. Then there is the like of fudge, I never knew you could get this, I love it. Also the salted witches ones they are amazing too.

Fantastic
As a Dutch expat, I need my fix of salty liquorice every now and then, so I thought I'd give these guys a try. Glad I did....their salty selection is the business, with a special mention for the "very salty octopuses".
On my second order there was a slight mishap - part of my order was incorrect, but customer services rep Patricia handled this very effectively and friendly - the correct item will be sent out to me, and I can keep the incorrect item.
Lovely to see a niche supplier with good old fashioned sweets as well as good old fashioned customer services - I'll be back!

Lindsay, I have reached out to you hoping that, with the benefit of hindsight perhaps, you would delete or correct this review but I received no response, so I have reviewed this case on the correspondence.
Basically you put your old postcode on your order (which Royal Mail heavily rely on to electronically sort post) and didn’t tell us (despite the fact that we E mail an order confirmation immediately) until it was already on its way to Oxfordshire instead of Devon. It’s an easy mistake, but not our mistake. Patricia (customer services) spent some time sorting out the error for you and getting your order (one pack of liquorice with a discount) to your correct address in 6 days !
Most customers would be writing a great review at this point however all we got was a demand for a refund and a complaint that we had “fallen very short” !
Every customer & order is important to us, big or small, as we are a new company, Our loyal customers know that if we make a mistake, we honestly admit it, make amends and try harder.
Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we cannot please everybody apparently even when we get lovely liquorice delivered in a reasonable amount of time despite the wrong address being given to us.

I don't normally give 5 star reviews as I don't think many people think they are accurate! I have given this company 5 stars because of the way they treated my order. I had waited 2 or 3 days and had not heard anything after ordering, so emailed the company to find out if they could give me any idea of a delivery day! I had a very prompt response from a lady called Patricia who told me there had been a problem and my order had been missed, however this was on Friday and low and behold on Saturday along came my parcel. The service and also the delicious choices of liquorice are well worth it!

Best liquorice ever.
About 7 weeks ago I started Chemotherapy. I lost a lot of my taste. I found I could still taste liquorice and started eating Liquorice allsorts, the only kind I could find. Then I got a post on Facebook for MyLiquorice. I browsed the catalogue and saw many European Liquorices that I had never seen before. I ordered a large pack of mixed gourmet, a pack of Dutch Buttons and a pack of hard gums. I placed all three packs in a tub and have been grazing thereafter. I love them all but especially the buttons.
