Buongiorno,ho scaricato l'app di Famio i primi di marzo per smarrimento di uno smartphone, risolto con un'altra app gratuita. Scaduto il periodo di prova, è partito un abbonamento per colpa mia perché avevo dimenticato di disdire la prova. Quando mi sono accorto dell'attivazione dell'abbonamento ho immediatamente eseguito la cancellazione dello stesso, notando, tuttavia, che avrebbero addebitato anche l'importo del mese successivo, perché la cancellazione partiva dopo 30 giorni dalla comunicazione ricevuta. Il risultato? Siamo al 4/5/ 2025 e mi arrivata la notifica dell' addebito di altri 25,79 €, il terzo per la precisione, dopo innumerevoli mail di cancellazione eseguite, come da istruzioni indicate sul sito ( tutto in inglese). Non voglio attendere il prossimo addebito, per verificare ciò che in realtà doveva già succedere, e che poi non si verifica regolarmente. Sono graditi consigli da parte di chi si trova nella mia situazione, perché non so più cosa fare.

Se l'abbonamento è stato annullato in tempo, non dovrebbero esserci ulteriori addebiti oltre il periodo di fatturazione attivo. Apprezziamo la tua pazienza e ci impegniamo a risolvere questo problema il prima possibile.

Went on line for a phone search app. No clear explanation that it only works when lost phone replies with text. Thought it could pinpoint on map where to look. Cancelled within 24 hours when I realised. My dad has early stage dementia and had lost his phones so I was helping him. Monthly payment still taken despite immediate cancellation. Sent them a message on their site but not holding my breath. lol.

Scammers! Make you pay for you to locate a phone to then forcing you set up an account and inviting everyone from your contact list. You then have to chose plan to be able to use it and without it you have no access to your account so can’t cancel the subscription. Stay away!

I canceled my subscription an about 2 or 3 days after trial, which was January 17th and was charged full amount!!! Said I had till April 17th to use, and l never even bothered to use it,and I end up being charged $74.16 yet again on April 17th almost double what I paid in January, I emailed them and said they canceled and I now have tell may 17th to use app, I even sent a picture showing it was canceled, this app is a complete scam, they need to be investigated!! I am now going to have to dispute for a refund !!! This is a complete joke!

Unsolicited email from MyFamio
I'm giving a one star review simply because I have received an unsolicited email from myfamio.com, telling me "Your registration is now complete" with a big button inciting me to CONFIRM EMAIL. The email header is "Confirm Your Account" with a big green tick next to it. Given that I'd never even heard of MyFamio until receiving this email (nor have I registered with the site/app) I have to consider it as a scam. Oddly, I also received a couple of minutes later another email from GPS-Server congratulating me on my registration with them too! I've never requested to register with either of these sites!! It turns out that both of them are in the business of providing tracking software eg. to locate mobile phones. I'm wondering if anybody else has received unsolicited registration emails from these companies?

I downloaded the app and took advantage of the free trial. I cancelled with 24 hours as I u felt it wasn't what I wanted. I cancelled and yet they have just tried to take £38 out of my account.

This is an outrageous scam! Nowhere was it clearly stated that a fee of €41.26 would be charged monthly — especially not for an app I don’t even use and with no visible option to cancel the subscription. Absolute fraudsters.

Without my approval. First I found 2 charges at which they said they could only refund 40% now I find 3 more charges. They didn't wanna hear that or pay out. Let me look into a class action
