Unzureichender Support
Wir haben über MyCamper ein Wohnmobil in Norwegen gemietet vom 26.7.-10.8.26. Es wies schwerwiegende, potenziell lebensgefährliche Sicherheitsmängel (völlig desolate Bremsen, die gewechselt werden mussten, kaputte Rückfahrkamera, zu niedriger Reifendruck) auf und etliche weitere Mängel (kaputte Markise, zu wenig Geschirr). Direkt am 10.8.26 habe ich MyCamper über die Mängel informiert und um eine teilweise Erstattung gebeten. Alle Mängel sind durch Fotos und den Werkstattbericht belegt. Seither habe ich am 19.8. auf die (falschen) Einwände der Vermieterin geantwortet und wiederholte Erinnerungen geschickt. Der Servicemitarbeiter hat seither nur um Geduld gebeten und mich in den beiden letzten Mails auch noch mit falschem Namen adressiert. Das ist für ein Portal mit derart hohen Vermittlungsgebühren eine beeindruckende Minderleistung. Ich würde nie wieder über dieses Portal einen Camper mieten.

Was die Mängel betrifft: Wir nehmen solche Berichte sehr ernst, insbesondere wenn es um sicherheitsrelevante Defekte geht. Wir entschuldigen uns für die Verzögerung in der Bearbeitung deines Falls. Die Klärung solcher Beschwerden braucht manchmal etwas mehr Zeit, da wir für eine faire Beurteilung auch auf die Rückmeldung der Vermieterin angewiesen sind. Das ändert aber nichts daran, dass du schneller und professioneller hätte betreut werden sollen 😊
Bitte melde dich nochmals direkt unter support@mycamper.com mit deinen Buchungsdetails, damit wir sicherstellen können, dass dein Fall die Priorität bekommt, die er verdient.

Har hyrt husbil av samma trevliga uthyrare vid två tillfällen. Bästa recensioner till dem och husbilen. Jag/vi har också bara positiv upplevelse av My Campers system/logistik för oss som hyr och vill tro det samma gäller för uthyraren.

Nice setup which is safe for both parties involved. Chat function could be better since tou have to make sure to scroll ALL the way down to see "write message". I personally like the notifications on upcoming due dates on payments and check in times.

The website is well designed to search and book campervans and motorhomes from private hosts. You don’t need to create a new account by using e.g. Facebook credentials. The accidental insurance is included but they do not specify that cash is required for contents insurance, which is a catch. The website takes care of the driver verification and provides good check-in and check-out service.

We rented a camper in the summer 2026 for a week. The camper and host were perfect however we had an unexpected tire blow out. Although my camper were very supportive our experience with Omocom was terrible. A certain individual was rude, insincere and downright obnoxious. Totally unprofessional dialogue and we felt totally abandoned and unsupported during this crisis. My camper, your insurance company is giving you a very bad image unfortunately

Great experience. Amazing car (WV Grand California 2023). Veronica, the owner, was very kind and helpful. Every time we sent her questions, she replied immediately. The platform was also great. There were no hidden costs. Everything was clear in the vehicle's description as well as the rental terms.

Great rental plattform.
We rented a campervan a few days without hustle. Great communication via chat and very easy to use.
Be sure to read the insurance info in order to avoid high deductible in case of any damage.

This was my first time using this website and I am totally satisfied.
The research was easy and clear. Then, once I booked the motorhome all procedures were simple and smooth. The communication with the motorhome's owner was easy and fast. Check-in and check-out procedures were simple and allowed the customer to check everything declared by the owner.
I definitely recommend this website!

Die Kaution von CHF 1000.- wird nicht…
Die Kaution von CHF 1000.- wird nicht automatisch zurückbezahlt. Das Check-out wurde vor 10 Tagen abgeschlossen und die Kaution wurde weiterhin zurückbehalten. Man muss dem wieder nachgehen und Mycamper daran erinnern in der Hoffnung, man erhält sein Geld zurück. Die Gebühren sind allgemein sehr hoch… zu hoch. Enttäuschend…

Hallo, danke für dein Feedback. 🚐 Wir möchten kurz erklären, wie die Kaution bei uns funktioniert: Sie wird grundsätzlich immer automatisch freigegeben, ausser es gibt Schäden im Zusammenhang mit der Buchung oder der Vermieter hat explizit darum gebeten, die Kaution vorübergehend zurückzuhalten, um etwas zu klären.
Wichtig zu wissen: Wir reservieren die Kaution lediglich, wir belasten sie nicht. Das bedeutet, dass du nach der Freigabe keine Rückzahlungstransaktion siehst, sondern die Reservierung einfach verschwindet 😊
Falls die Kaution nach 10 Tagen noch nicht freigegeben wurde, schauen wir das gerne für dich an. Melde dich bei uns unter support@mycamper.com und wir erklären dir den genauen Status und wie es weitergeht.
