I purchased an extractor fan cooker…
I purchased an extractor fan cooker hood, and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. First, one of the parts was faulty, and it took six weeks for an engineer to come out and address the issue. When he arrived, he discovered that the part he brought was incorrect.
To make matters worse, there was no follow-up communication from the office team to keep me informed. After chasing them for an update, they finally called me a week later to inform me that the correct part would not be available for several months.
In the meantime, I’ve been left with a hood awkwardly installed in a way that people can easily bang their heads on. I had already paid someone to install it, but I was told they can’t send a replacement unit with an engineer because their engineers only handle repairs—not new installations. So I'm expected to buy a new unit and pay for an additional install cost.
It’s now been two weeks since I last heard anything, and I’m still waiting for a resolution. This entire process has been extremely inconvenient and poorly managed.
