This was the first time I have purchased a car from MPM and can honestly say it was a very reassuring process, I have been a Jag owner/enthusiast for a number of years and when I first met Marc his knowledge and enthusiasm for the brand was tangible. The standard of preparation, attention to detail and presentation of the vehicle I was viewing spoke volumes to me, no sales pitch, no pressure just an honest and very interesting conversation, the car spoke for itself. If you’re looking to invest in an exceptional XK, you need look no further than MPM Ltd.

In summary, this was an easy and re-assuring purchase. From when I first spoke with Marc about the car, Marc provided me with full details of it, kept me fully appraised of the preparation he was doing and sent me a great number of photographs. When we went to view it, the car was beautifully presented. Marc’s attention to detail was incredible - even down to pointing out a clip under the bonnet he had changed. I thought Marc had undersold the quality of the car and there was certainly no pressure to buy. The whole process was easy, professional and inspired confidence in the purchase - in fact, one of the few times I have enjoyed purchasing a car. I would have no hesitation in recommending a purchase from Marc to my friends and would certainly buy from him again.

I have always loved the design and Grand Touring elegance of the Jaguar X150 cars, taking some heritage from Aston Martin design - I personally think they are the best-looking cars on the road! I had always wanted to own one, I bought the car 8-years ago, as the second owner, when its previous owner, an 84-year-old gentleman, had to down size and could no longer drive, I bought it when it was 9-years old with 18k on the clock, I have added another 33k miles since with some very happy driving around the UK.
I have tried to look after her, having it serviced every year and fixing anything that needed doing. It has always been serviced by Mike Allen Services, a specialist Jaguar garage in Swindon, next to the railway station, during my tenure. They really know their stuff and it has always been worth the 120-mile round trip from Malvern to have it serviced properly by them. I recently had it detailed by Pyramid Car Care in Worcester shortly after the recent service this year.
About 5-years ago I had the sound system upgraded by Audiofile InCar, in Bishops Stortford. They did an amazing job, with high quality workmanship, completely transforming the sound stage in the car. From that moment on I always had two smiles on my face, one when I started the car up and listened to the 5.0L V8 engine, and the second one, listening to high quality music while the XK purred along!
My reason for selling was my wish to get a Jaguar XKR Convertible and experience the same elegant car with 510 HP and open top driving. When I collected the car yesterday, I was not disappointed. The car was beautifully prepared, looking spectacular in Metallic Lunar Grey with the Caramel leather, thank you – it really is all in the detail!
The 125-mile drive home with the roof down was fantastic, falling in love with driving all over again, in this amazing machine! The only thing that didn’t measure up, unfortunately, was the factory fitted Bowers and Wilkins sound system, it’s not bad, but having been used to the superb sound in my XK, there is no comparison, and no question - I am going to have to upgrade to the XKR, not cheap, but worth every penny.
Also, thank you for the advice you gave me when I went to view that XK Convertible, I dodged a bullet with that car, and ended up buying one from you, - a pedigree cat from a highly reputable organisation, long may mpmlimited continue.
