Since this was the first time that I was going to hire pro movers, I asked around before making my final decision. Among the factors I considered were the online reputation (through reviews like this one), whether there were any complaints in the Better Business Bureau for the company, and the cost of the service. I made the final decision after speaking to the different companies over the phone and assessing whether they seemed genuine and reliable. Moving Nation was either the best or among the top 3 for each of those criteria.I knew I had made the right choice after seeing the movers in action. They take a no nonsense, no time wasting attitude towards their work. They called me before arriving, and then started doing their thing. Every move was methodical, starting from the way they gathered all the items of equal weight and fragility before loading them. I also noticed that the moving truck was clean both outside and inside the holding compartment. It is maybe a small thing but I think it shows that the company cares about its reputation and takes pride in its work.I must also add that the movers were very polite. I have seen my neighbors move and the team they had from another company seemed to be giving them attitude and just seemed like insincere people. That experience was one of the reasons I vetted companies so thoroughly before hiring.I think I made the perfect choice hiring Moving Nation and would hire them again.

Beware anyone wanting to hire this company. If you do decide to use them, expect your pickup and delivery dates to be past the date they agree to. Additionally, expect to have cherished belongings, such as family antiques, to be broken, smashed and beyond repair--that's after spending a tremendous amount of money on bubble wrap, Uhaul boxes ,wrapping paper, blankets etc. They managed to punch through a Uhaul flat screen TV box protected on the inside with bubble wrap and a blanket. Our new 60" screen is now shattered like a pane of glass. Moreover, when the mover does show up, he will speak no English as he is Ukranian. I say mover, in the singular, as this non English speaking man showed up with our belongings form our prior 3 bedroom home by himself. This was at 7:00 on a Saturdsy night. All he cared about was our last installment of $3362.00. Given he couldn't speak English, he had to call the person we had attempted to reach for many days and were unsuccessful; thats after leaving many messages for a return call. However, this accountant was reached with ease on a Saturdsy evening--imagine that. After making the payment, we decided to have him return on Sunday morning, as the dispatcher assured us he would have a helper. Well, on Sunday morning he showed up WITHOUT A HELPER and I had to help move the carnage of destroyed items that we payed over $8000.00 to be moved, supposedly in a professional manner. The insane part is I am retired and have a bad back. Moving Nation has no concern for you, your belongs, or as anything of that nature. They are cold hearted crooks, happily willing to RIP you off and destroy your cherished and irreplaceable belongings

I believe my search for the best movers has officially ended and Moving Nation is the grand champion. They ticked every box from punctuality to safety to price and are a group of nice guys to boot. We had a smooth move without any trouble.

My delivery was delayed a couple of days but it was out of all our control with flyovers and interstates being closed and all. Other than that, a nice, effortless move that got all my things to me amidst all the chaos going round.

On moving day, I stood on a neighbor’s balcony and watched the movers do their thing. Even though they didn’t know I was there, they weren’t slacking off and wasting time. I am extremely pleased with their work and recommend them to everyone.

Moving Nation almost slipped under the radar during my search for movers because they don’t advertise like crazy. Luckily, a friend suggested I check them out and the rest is history. If they keep their prices this reasonable, I will stick with them for life!

Over the years, I have used many movers both professional and amateur. Moving Nation is the perfect balance between great expert service and low amateur cost (without actually employing amateurs). Very pleased with the overall experience and will recommend them to others.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! Do not do business with these people. They are a SCAM!!!!! I was quoted 5k to
Move and now they have tripled my bill to 15k. It’s been over a month and my furniture has not been delivered. This is a total NIGHTMARE!!! They won’t answer my calls or return any of emails. This is a scam. Please everyone - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!

I was recommended this moving company by a friend who has moved several times in the past few years. He swore that they were the best value for money around. Since it is my first move, I don’t really know what the standards are to compare with but I can definitely say that my move was completed very smoothly and I did not end up finding any of my boxes missing or any damage on my furniture or on the walls and floors. The other thing that even I can see is that the professionalism of this company shines through its team of movers. The team with the truck turned up dressed in neat and clean uniforms and spoke to us very courteously. From talking to them it was obvious that they knew all about the job they were expected to work on. They explained what they would be moving in what order from what room. That way, we could observe as much as we liked without getting in the way. That was fine by me since I was paying them to do all the work anyway! I have to say that they were extraordinarily vigilant to ensure there was no damage to the floors and walls, always pausing and thinking about the best way to move things at corners etc. I wouldn’t have thought they would take so much care but that’s one of the ways that the professionalism really showed. If you are looking for reliable movers, you can’t go past this company.

For the love of God, PLEASE read this review carefully. I wish I had done so; it would have saved me thousands of dollars and a lot of headaches. I’ve lived for many decades and this is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with. It’s hard to believe they are able to run a business like they do. They are lying, deceitful, and out and out a scam! This would take pages to explain everything that happened and it would be hard to believe but if you read my review and those others that are low, it’s the same scenario. Basically, they come in with a low quote even based on what you tell them you’re taking. They tell you they will call you every couple of days “to check how things are going” and then you never hear from them again. They don’t answer their phones! The day they arrive, it was like a rehearsed scene, starting with “interesting, interesting.” The main guy (I won’t give names but trust me, they are ALL the same) says, “this is a lot more than they said” and “your furniture is much bigger than what you described.” I’m not even sure what that means. Before the night was over my quote was $5000 more! I did have more boxes than I thought but that should not have increased the price that much! I felt like I had no choice; I was at their mercy since I had to be out of my house for the buyers to move in. I asked the “manager” if the truck would be leaving the following day and he said, verbatim, “oh yeah, yeah. For sure. I promise.” On the way to my drive out of state the following day I was told my stuff would be delivered Wednesday or Thursday, 2-3 days later!!!! NO ONE tells you that they have have up to 10 days to deliver your goods, although it’s in the fine print of the contract. They only tell you if the truck beats you there they will park the truck and you have up to 7 days to have them deliver it which seemed like a sweet deal; they just never tell you the other end. Then it went downhill from there. My card was declined on the second charge because it exceeded my daily limit, although the bank sent it through the following day. They would NOT believe me that the bank approved the charge even when I sent them proof, and they harassed me for the money, threatening me that if I didn’t pay it would delay my delivery. I was skeptical of paying them again because I didn’t trust they wouldn’t sent the original charge through. They refused to talk to my bank on a 3 way call. Customer Service is the worst ever; there is no service. They talk rudely and condescending and tell you, “you need to call your bank” or “you need to make sure....”. I demanded to talk to a supervisor once and they told me everyone was gone (another common excuse in addition to “everyone is super busy.) and then said “I can put you on hold until tomorrow if you would like.” The morning of the delivery I had to get thousands of dollars out of the bank. My daughter’s friend was helping us and he was literally counting the money out by thousands on a table. It felt like a drug deal or something. I kept telling myself, this is insane! I tried to send some of the payment through their docusign and the same CSR told me
“no Ronda, we gave you that chance and you didn’t want to do it.” I’m paying THEM but they know they have you and they hold your belongings as hostage until you pay! I seriously believe they are corrupt and train their employees how to get as much money as they can out of people. And it’s really their word against yours...am I an expert on how much stuff you can put in so many cubic feet?! No, but i know that adding some boxes doesn’t increase your contract by 50%! I’ll give the good things about the company; the people they pay peanuts to, to load and unload the truck, work hard and were very accommodating to our needs. I gave them each a tip, not because the company is good, but because they were hard workers! They wrap the furniture up well, so far we have only had one scratched up item. Oh but they did tell us to wrap up our mattresses and furniture which is not cheap to buy those covers. Then when they came in to pack us up they ripped the covers off the furniture “because they really don’t help any.” Again, go with a well known company that’s been around for awhile. I blame myself for not doing more research but who has time to do all of that in the middle of selling a house, packing everything up and moving; especially if you’re moving out of state. I will say that I am a recent widow and I believe I was taken advantage of because there wasn’t a man there to question them about things. PLEASE do not be swayed by their slimy salespeople who sound like used car salesmen, and I’m embarrassed to say I was taken by one. Don’t go with this company. I will continue to post this review on a regular basis so enough people see it. If I can save one family from this nightmare it will give me some peace of mind.

I don;t enjoy moving but if I have to, I always choose Moving Nation. They are the only movers who have managed to keep their prices reasonable despite performing their job well enough to charge a lot more. I use them myself and recommend them to family and friends as well.

My first interaction with Moving Nation was with the office manager who coordinated my move. They were able to give me an accurate, no-b.s. quote with all the potential extras clearly spelled out. While others quoted me lower estimates, they were less open about those extras and I naturally chose Moving Nation.

These guys are a scam. The staff are friendly and courteous when you book your move but were a completely unprofessional during the move. They shifted the agreed moving date without any consultation. On the day of the move they delayed until 7pm and showed up with two guys in a small truck to shift the contents of a 4BRM house. They were tired/surly and aggressive. It was impossible to raise anyone at the office and it has been impossible to get hold of anyone since. We have no other choice than to report to legal action; no one needs this additional stress during a move.

I highly recommend Moving Nation for your next move because they did a very good job on mine and I don’t think such good work can be a fluke. The movers were able to handle all my heavy and oversized furniture and move them over a huge distance without getting a scratch on them. They used carrying and lifting equipment that I’m not familiar with but it basically allowed them to wheel the biggest items right out of the house to their truck without scuffing the floors or banging those things against the walls. I also liked the thorough way they packed everything, first using packing boxes and securing the boxes with tape, then wrapping all the boxes and open items in cling wrap which would protect them from moisture and dust along the way. Everything was secured to the inside of the truck and they told me it was to minimize movement and risk of damage. Very considerate.The truck arrived at my new house in Oklahoma within the time that their office had told me it would. They even moved the time around a bit so I could take delivery and then still make it to work in the afternoon. Again, very considerate. The movers unloaded the items with the same care they had taken at loading and still managed to get the work done faster than I had assumed it would take. I am just very happy with how everything turned out and would use them again.

This is most unprofessional, nontransparent, frustrating company we have ever worked with. Final cost exceeded initial estimate tremendously. Late to pick up. Did not finish packing/loading until 4:30 AM. VERY late to drop off (20 days past delivery date). We had to help load and unload due to lack of movers. Will not return phone calls/answer the phone. When you do talk to someone, they are very argumentative and blame YOU (the customer) for THEIR mistakes. We just got our stuff today and have already found multiple boxes that do not belong to us, so I am sure we will find that some of our stuff is missing as well. RUN AWAY and DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS COMPANY'S BS!

This the worst moving company. Please DO NOT use them. We have had several problems with them, please see details below.

1.) We paid extra for a guaranteed delivery date, this was not met, and our delivery came about a week later.
2.) The driver showed up with no crew and my husband helped him move stuff.
3.) We are missing suitcases and over 35 boxes.
4.) The customer service and management is horrible.
5.) Our items were REPACKED without our consent.

I placed a deposit on my credit card of $1032 on June 16th with the understanding that I needed to cancel at least a week before my move date (July 28th) for a full refund. I totally underestimated the number of boxes and sold some of the big furniture so I called to get an updated quote. My guy wouldn't do it. So I went with another company and my contact guy wouldn't respond when I tried to cancel. I couldn't get anyone on the main line until I hit the sales dept(shocker). They argued with me, cut me off, lied about stuff on their end, tried to trash talk the company I chose, then told me to email a certain address to cancel. I did all this on July 8th. I was told during a rude phone call that I would get my refund by 14days. On the 14th day I threatened with a complaint to the BBB. I got an email of a PICTURE of a check! Are they for real? I told them I can't make a deposit like that with my bank and that I paid by credit card so I would like my refund to go there. They never responded asking for an address for that check or answering my request for my card to be refunded. I have contacted them 3 times. It's now Aug 21st and I still don't have my money. I have disputed the charge and filed a complaint with the BBB. No one should be recommending this company. Yelp has all horrible reviews of them. Should've checked there and not trusted these consumer sites

Please DO NOT go with this company they are a CROOKED Company they took my money and ran $4,000.00 up front money the whole bill was suppose to be almost $20,000 . They will not answer any of my phone calls at any of there
numbers. I was to have packers to pack my whole house and a whole Simi truck 26,000 lbs they showed up two days late with a bobtail truck and two packer and said they was going take my furniture from apple valley to LA
and unload each trip into a warehouse, well that alone would of taken 5 days if they was lucky because it takes at least one hour each way without them unloading the truck, besides destroying my beautiful furniture.Did I mention they was suppose to take my stuff to Texas not LA 🤬also one of there packers said to me ma'am person to person I would not go with us he knew they had did me wrong. I was so thankful for his honesty. I not stop trying to warn people of this company until I get my money BACK. I will turn them into the better business bureau also get a attorney , I have already contacted my credit company.
AGAIN CROOKED COMPANY

I insisted that my husband get actual professional movers this time because we previously had his friends just chip in and the job stretched out for days and we even had some of our things scratched and damaged since no one had any idea what they were doing. Using actual movers this time was such a difference and so orderly! And, considering the savings in time and stress and actual damage that we saved, I can now tell my husband very clearly that his way was the wrong way, so that’s a bonus. Now that I have vented, let’s get to why I think Moving Nation is a great choice for movers.The most important thing for us was cost. We looked over the packages that the movers we contacted were offering and compared them for a few days, accompanied by lots of calls. The Moving Nation team that handles enquiries was the best by far, just very clear and up front with how they charged and what would increase the costs. That’s a really underrated factor because most people think that just the price is important. What they don’t realize is that the quote and the final price can differ by a huge margin if the company is dishonest. Moving Nation’s quote was in the higher-medium range but we feel that the lower quotes were probably scams.The move was as perfect as it could get, with everything being handled competently by the movers. Our things were delivered on time also. I recommend Moving Nation.

Superb with sales. The crew (Mike) that did the pick up in TX was superb.pick up date was July 26 with the guaranteed 17 bus days of delivery to SD. Today is Aug 10 & no furniture & NOONE will give us a delivery date except the contractor Map Moving for Aug 30! Unacceptable. Tried calling many times for manager & everyone we get either transfers us to Neverland or hangs up on us. Nadine & Tina in customer service are useless. Nadine laughed at me & yelled. Tina just keeps giving me the same thing of "I'll try". They don't call you back either. They have stolen our furniture at this point since we can't get any responses from anyone. They say there is no management. Ha! Guess we have to get attorney or file police report. Because they won't give us answers about our furniture. Extremely upset!
