Very expensive compared to others and to be honest I had to place the phone down on him. In order to remain professional started added on fees that wasn't even mentioned asked me to check a website when I called him directly. But by the time the extras where added on he already had possession of the sofas. Very bad communicator was two hours late to pick up and no apology. Instead of an apology when I reminded him he was two hours late and had left me with no one able to wait he aggressively informed me I would have to make payment before unloading. Very unprofessional when he picked up items made a fuss in front of young children. Could have gone left if my family where not patient individuals.

Moving Nation is one of the smaller moving companies but its performance can live up to the biggest names. I have found that for myself over the space of four moves, 2 with them and 2 with bigger companies. In reality, the big names charge you for just that – the name. Moving Nation can give you the same value and quality but at a lower price. The movers are polite, know their job well, and handled my things safely. 5 stars without a doubt.

There are more affordable movers that you can go for but do you really want to use the cheapest people to handle all your electronics, appliances and expensive clothes? I didn’t and Moving Nation was one of the most obvious choices based on all the 5 star reviews they have earned for themselves. I was willing to spend a little more to get them rather than some bargain basement movers who may turn out to be unreliable. Very happy with my choice.

I believe all of the bad reviews. I used them to move from California to Georgia. Their motto is "We have a contract. We can do what we want to do" That means taking 2 21/2 weeks to deliver, losing items and damaging items. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Do not believe anything positive you read posted. It’s all a scam. They are thieves. They now have set up a new company. Beware, they broke and/or stole some of my most precious belongings. After they get all your money, they stop responding to calls and e-mails. Nadine and Tina are their front people. Beware of them. Don’t believe anything these evil, dishonest women say. Their salespeople are equally guilty. Do not entrust anything you care about to these thieves.

I would never hire this company again. We had them move household goods from a storage unit in Maryland to our new home in Florida. The guys who emptied the storage unit were way too fast, they grabbed stuff nilly-willy without regard to the fact that these items comprise someone’s entire worldly possessions. Just stuffing things on a dolly as quickly as they could. Someone on their team, either these guys or the ones at their storage facility, lifted an old hardwood desk by the legs. The legs broke off. Though I filed a claim for damage, I never heard a word back from Moving Nation about it, not even that they denied it. They do not honor their word or their contractual obligation. Oh, and they didn’t bother to secure drawers on furniture or use moving blankets or wrap furniture in plastic wrap. We will never use this company again and we urge readers to avoid using it too.

Do not use this company! Nadine and Tina from Customer Service do have any skills for this job. They do not return calls or emails. As soon as they had my final payment, they became incognito. I have been waiting 2 weeks with no updates on when my furniture will be shipped to me. It’s on schedule from what I am told. I have had nothing it problems from the time I had them pick up my furniture til now. Save yourself the headache and gone with a real company.

I cannot believe the good reviews here. I could not believe what a horrible job they did for me. I moved from CA to OR in August of last year. Because there was so much real damage to my true antique furnishings, an overstay in a hotel, days sleeping on the floor and poor communication with them, I asked my son to work with them for the legally responsible reimbursement. He is a pretty dedicated business man and can be very tenacious. After months of no responses from the company, he finally gave up. I have received no apology and no reimbursement. Please go elsewhere for your moving needs.

I was really excited to use professional movers for the first time and Moving Nation did not disappoint me. It was a very smooth experience, with the men taking care of business with no need for any intervention from me. It really struck me that these guys could get such a big job (my Virginia 3 bedroom house full of stuff) completed so quickly. I am also really liking their pricing, which is one of the chief reasons that I decided to go with them. All in all, I am very happy with my hire and would recommend Moving Nation.

A superb move. I have no complaints at all after unpacking. Moving Nation did well to deliver the consignment on time. This was my first time using professional movers. I didn’t know quite what to expect. However, the sales people explained it pretty well. The quote they gave us matched the final price closely. We chose them because of that attractive first quote. The mover team was very good, too. They worked fast and they were also very courteous to us. My whole family is very pleased with the move. I would hire them again.

Our family had a very good move, thanks to the great movers of Moving Nation. They were very careful with our things and didn’t have to be very slow to be able to do that. I was actually surprised at how quickly they finished, and would hire them again.

Moving Nation has been our reliable go-to moving company for several years now and our recent move from Louisiana to Florida was handled by them as perfectly as they have always done. Despite the fact that we started with a 2 bedroom apartment and now live in a 4-bedroom house, their balance of speed with care and safety has always been consistently reliable. We appreciate that they have maintained the cost of packing materials pretty much the same all this time, too. My family and I trust Moving Nation to always do a good job and we recommend them strongly.

I am a Moving Nation fan after 2 moves because they have given me the best balance of value and service both times. I can say this categorically because I have used about 5 other moving companies in the past and none of them managed to do it as well as Moving Nation for the rates that they charge. You will notice that the Moving Nation team uniforms are always clean, and their vehicles, too. The movers are regular guys with friendly personalities. It feels like you’re having friends help you move. This company helped me move a 2-bedroom apartment from Washington to California.

Moving Nation was recommended to me by a friend who knew I was stressing out over my first interstate move from Oregon to Utah. She had used them a few months prior and found them to be very trustworthy and efficient. In my experience, she was absolutely correct. Their truck arrived slightly ahead of schedule and the very polite movers asked to get started right away, which was fine by me. They wrapped up faster than I had anticipated, too. It was the same with delivery, with everything being unpacked and arranged like I wanted. 5 stars from me.

When the movers first arrived with a bigger truck than I thought I needed for my 1-bedroom apartment, I was ready to complain but it turned out they knew what they were doing and it was just enough. They went to work as soon as they arrived and had all my things packed safely ahead of schedule. Really efficient stuff. It was the same at my destination, although it was simpler since I was just having it all put in storage before moving overseas to do a yearlong internship. I’ll probably hire them to move me back next year.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE! They destroy your furniture and their insurance company denies your claim for damages so your left with paying $10,000 for the enter move and your left with a pile of junk that used to be your furniture.You can find pictures from past customers just search under moving nation.

Moving Nation are the ideal movers except for their price. If they would reduce their charges by 5-10%, I think I would hire them for every single move. Of course, their work matches their cost but I’d sacrifice a bit of speed for a bit more cash. Other than that, perfect.

No more movers-hunting for me, I have decided that Moving Nation is the one that there ain’t no one better! This is my third home move in recent years but the first time I’m completely satisfied with the service I received. I wish I had found them earlier!
