I ordered an original movie poster from the 1980’s online earlier this week. By today Thursday it arrived! All the way from America to the UK safely and quickly. The poster is well packaged and just what I wanted. Thank you so much!

I have never been so angry with a company --- any company --- in my life, and honestly, I am not the type to write bad reviews.

Years ago, they delivered a great product --- NOT ANYMORE! My other three posters arrived in beautiful, sturdy metal frames. The MOUNTING and wire were already attached, and, best of all, the POSTER was already inserted, clean as could be. NOW, for $400, they send you a cheap wooden frame that looks like the kind you get for $30 at Staples. Also, for $400, they let you SCREW the mounts and put the wire in yourself. I don't mind assembly; I enjoy building IKEA furniture, but IKEA is cheap! But what really infuriates me is having to put the poster inside, and there is no way to keep dust from sneaking into it. My wife and I opened it and put it back three times, and each time we found a hair or some dust on it. THIS WAS NOT WORTH $400!!! Save your money, go to Five Below, and get the same thing for $10.

I will never buy from this store again!

Similar to other customers, I also got hit with a €15 customs bill as nominated by the shipper, this was not mentioned at the checkout also. Furthermore when the FedEx bill arrive, I coukd not recognise what the customs was for as it said it was for an item received from the Shipping Dept. With no mention of movieposters.com anywhere on the documentation. I ignored it thinking it was a scam and now a debt collection company are chasing me for €32 to cover their fee also. Hugely frustrating and coukd be avoided should they name the actual website bought from on the customs docket. Sadly won't recommend, posters a disappointment anyway.

I really wanted to enjoy my experience with Movieposters.com, but unfortunately it turned into a frustrating ordeal.

While the posters that finally arrived were of decent (not great) quality, the service from the company was seriously disappointing, especially for an international customer.

I paid €25 for international tracked shipping, only to be hit with an unexpected €15 customs fee that was never clearly mentioned at checkout. Thankfully, they eventually refunded that amount, but only after I complained and spent time going back and forth via email.

On top of that, they entered my shipping address incorrectly: both the city and postal code were wrong, despite me typing it correctly at the time of purchase. Because of this, FedEx couldn’t deliver the parcel on time. I had to contact FedEx myself, open a case, and even received phone calls from them on the day of delivery just to clarify where the package should go. All of this delayed the delivery well beyond their promised timeframe.

To be clear, this was not a customs delay. It was a shipping error by Movieposters.com, confirmed directly by FedEx.

While the company did respond and refunded the customs fee, the overall experience was poor. There was no real compensation for the time and effort I had to put in to fix their mistakes.

If you’re ordering from outside the US, think twice. The products are okay, but the service, at least internationally, is chaotic and unreliable.

Great customer service and great product. They replied quickly to my questions (over the weekend), and they delivered the posters super-fast in a sturdy tube. I will be shopping here again!

Excellent selection of posters and high-quality materials, paired with exceptionally friendly service. While there were some challenges with the international delivery, they were resolved quickly and professionally. I highly recommend this team!

No Customer Service at all because they shipped with Fedex. The Shipping Price is Horrible and After A Month i have Nothing but a Taxbill from Fedex . Movieposters lies the Same Way like Fedex, no Excuses only pretext. After 21 days i become my Money back from PayPal. Shame on you Movieposter.

Brilliant film poster company. An excellent selection and efficient postage service.

Fantastic company to deal with. Have used them around 10 times over the last 3 years with no issues at all. I only buy original movie posters from them not reprints. I have personally found their prices reasonable and you can get a good deal if you buy posters for future releases at the right time.
As the UK is now trade tariff free with Canada there is now no import duties either!
Note to the person who left a one star review as their card did not go through : this is completely beyond any sellers/companies control and isn’t helpful for other people looking for honest reviews about a company.

I went online to purchase a poster and it declined my card even though there was nothing wrong with my card in the first place.

So my finished basement is movie themed. To give it more of a theater vibe, I recently ordered 4 poster reprints. Each poster is 24x36 rolled. Even though they came in a cardboard tube with no visible damage, there were marks on each poster crinkled in certain spots. I framed each poster so hopefully it’s not too noticeable to others, but I’d have expected better. Let’s see if my latest order is also damaged if it ever arrives.....

I purchased two original posters and they look even better than I imagined. This is one of few movie poster sites with reasonable pricing (I got a gorgeous poster from the 70s for only $5) and shipping was fast too. Would highly recommend!
