Very bad service

What started off well ended up a nightmare.
I took my car for a service on Fri and had to wait 7hrs. I dropped car at 8.00am and only left at 3.10pm. Not once did anyone let me know that it would take that long so sat there all the time, and no staff checking on me.
I usually take my car to Toyota Moorooka, but thought I would give Toyota Hillcrest a try as closer to home. But I will definitely not be recommending it to anyone. The service was not good. Staff were not friendly, the facilities were not all that clean either. I was told an invoice would be emailed to me, as yet I have still not received anything. I paid for a service and do not know what was done.

I’ve perched 3 cars from motorsma

I’ve perched 3 cars from motorama , and I get them serviced there all the time, think I may have to go somewhere else. I’ve been having trouble getting warranty on my landcruiser, we ordering it I paid extra for a genuine colour coded tray, rust is starting to appear on the head board, I’ve taken it in they took pictures, messed me around for 2 months, then there response was sorry it’s a triple M tray, it’s up to me to talk to triple M to get warranty, why order a genuine tray and pay extra 🤷,Wife is due for another car soon looks like we need to find another dealership.

Useless

I've been trying to get into contact with Toyota Hillcrest for the past 2 days to confirm some details for my upcoming service booking, however, no one seems interested to confirm those details.

I had to call Toyota (not the dealership) directly to cancel the booking.

I'm not interested in paying someone almost $800 when they can't even confirm the booking details. I've gone elsewhere.

Shine on Keri!

We recently visited Mitsubishi Motorama Springwood dealership to check out cars and from the moment we walked into the showroom, we were greeted with excellent customer service.

Keri was our car salesman who took us for a test drive and wow, what a gem of a man! Keri was very knowledgeable and accommodating to the many questions we had raised about the car, and nothing was too much trouble for him. He made us feel right at home and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Good customer service is hard to come by nowadays, so when you do receive it - it shines!

Keri, thank you so much for making this whole process an enjoyable one for us. You have two very happy and satisfied customers who will definitely come back and also recommend you to our family and friends when they need a car!

Really bad experience.. Rude staff members.. we recently purchased the vehicle from ford Moorooka.. we find a oil leak and informed the service department.. drop the vehicle they asked us to leave the vehicle at the service department and they will fix and the next day they give us a call that they fix the problem.. and give us a paperwork written on that the nut bolts has changed.. when we get home and check it again the oil was still there all was same nothing changed,,, we call them again and informed them and send them email as well but didn’t get any response.. after we few days the oil leak gets more and we drop the vehicle at the service department again and shows them to the pics as well.. they asked us to leave the vehicle…every single day we call them and didn’t get any update after one week they told us they ordered some parts and when part will come they will inform us.. but didn’t get any update and then call them again and they said they fixing the problem and pick up the vehicle this afternoon.. when we pick the vehicle nothing has changed,,, keep the vehicle over there more then ten days and nothing changed not even touch the vehicle where we leave the vehicle didn’t get moved.. and told us they fixed the problem.. really had bad experience with Motorama Moorooka… not fixed the problem and told us it gets fixed even the oil is still there they didn’t clean the oil as well..

Perfect one service the next , drives terrible the nextCar was serviced and ran worse from the…

Car was serviced and ran worse from the outset phoned but service advisor busy said they would call back . Finally wife rang back to be told she have to wait for appointment on 7 march (1month) mean while car surging etc . Asked for service manager and they said he would ring back surprise no call . As I drove in from Sunshine Coast as we have moved since engine light came on and dpf check.
Explained situation to off hand service lady situation said can’t just blame service they will check it out. Said originally 3 hours on phone but now 3 pm .Asked for elusive service manager but apparently not available until 8 but will probably be in meetings all day. Lady said could be hose or something but one would thought log book service with all the check items would find this seeing we we pay for checks to be done.Because car is not under warranty costs would be ours but would like to what length of time service warranty is as now we waited a month and would they ever tell you they did something wrong .
So they say you can’t complain about the service it’s true as there is none at this place. Clearly I’m very angry but staff rude and unhelpful.

Every single bad review about car sales…

DO NOT GET CAUGHT OUT BY MOTORAMA SPRINGWOOD’s definitely UNFAIR but NOT QUITE ILLEGAL contract stipulations & amendments !!!

2 days before I was due to pick up my new car Motorama Springwood REVOKED, cancelled and refused to honour a signed contract as in their words “the principle dealer had decided he would not make enough profit from the deal !! Personally I believe they saw me as an easy mark: a FEMALE buyer whom they thought they could “put one over”. me as a women and I would be IGNORANT and STUPID enough to accept shockingly unfair business practice (bordering on illegal) without making any noise about their APPALLING lack of customer service and business ethics !!! Not the case.
I went into MOTORAMA on a saturday to look at purchasing a new car. The next day I had a signed contract for a new Jeep Compass with 30km on the clock , vin # ****, silver in color. I accepted a trade in price for agreed to a deal etc etc details of the deal relayed to me 1st via a phone call with Shane the Fleet manager, in conjunction with Alan the Sales manager (who I had dealt with in showroom.) I was sent a contract signed by MOTORAMA representative which I then signed and returned the next day.
Over the next few days I had further contact with the Finance manager and another Saleperson. I RE-SIGNED; as did MOTORAMA a second contract; as I fell for an upsell of $2500 dollars and the sales price needed to be amended.

I was ecstatic with my new car, believed it safe to leave in the hands of SUPPOSEDLY reputable dealer while a tow bar and tinting l had agreed to pay for was seen to. I believed a deposit was made ; a LEGAL CONTRACT was SIGNED …..I had a new car WAS I IN FOR A SHOCK.!!
Two days before I was to pick up my NEW car, after I had also paided for a bank check to be drawn for the remainder of the deal. I was contacted by Shane as the MOTORAMA representative to say that the principle dealer had instructed him to REVOKE THE SIGNED CONTRACT under clause 8 ( see below ).

8. TERMINATION & DEFAULT
a) The Dealer may, by written notice to the Customer, terminate the Contract at any time before delivery of the Vehicle is made, in which case the Dealer will refund to the Customer all monies paid by the Customer to the Dealer for the purchase of the Vehicle and return to the Customer any trade-in vehicle received from the Customer and neither party shall have any claim against the other. The Customer acknowledges that this right of termination is exclusive to the Dealer, however the Customer shall be entitled to any cooling off period allowed by the Laws.
b) If the Customer defaults in observing any of these Terms then without prejudice to any other rights and remedies of the Dealer, the Dealer may, after giving written notice to the Customer of the default and allowing the Customer a reasonable period within which to remedy the default, by written notice to the Customer, either seek to enforce the Contract or terminate the Contract.
c) If the Dealer terminates the Contract under clause 8(b) the Dealer may repossess and re-sell the Vehicle without being liable to the Customer and:
i) retain any trade-in vehicle or other goods received from the Customer including proceeds of sale of same; and/or ii) forfeit any Deposit and retain any other money paid by the Customer on account of the Total Price of the Vehicle; and/or iii) recover from the Customer by way of liquidated damages an amount, up to the greater of:
(1)
10% of the Total Price of the Vehicle; or
(2) all damages suffered by the Dealer through or because of the default including any loss of profit, shortfall in the re-sale of the Vehicle (if applicable)

5 DAYS after we “ALL” SIGNED a legally binding contract with MANY HOURS of my time now wasted MOTORAMA was not willing to HONOUR a SIGNED contract ; however l was OFFERED A DIFFERENT CAR !! This car had MAYBE 3000+ MORE KM’s on the odometer than the car I had signed a deal on …”HOWEVER they weren’t really sure how MANY km’s it had ,WHAT STATE or WHERE this car was ,as it was out with a customer as a service loan car. If l DID NOT ACCEPT this OTHER CAR INSTEAD OF THE CAR I HAD SIGNED a contract for l WAS DIRECTED TO VIEW CLAUSE 8A AND BASICALLY WAS TOLD to “F OFF” and subsequently treated like l was an extremely difficult person to not happily accept this inferior deal.

I had assumed a contract was legally binding, however Clause’s such as this UNFAIR CLAUSE are added by UNREPUTABLE dealers & are borderline ILLEGAL BUT ONLY IF YOU take legal action. I was VERY CLOSE and I have reported them to QFT however they have little power to enforce BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES.I will follow up with QCAT BUT who has the emotional and financial strength to hold these big companies accountable … sadly atm I do not !!
What I can do is make bad reviews so others who are considering spending their monies with MOTORAMA WILL HAVE 2ND THOUGHTS !!!

Poor Service

I recently last Saturday 29th October put my Kia Cerato GT in for its 20k service.
The Gentleman handling the service took photos of my car as there is a fault in the paint work. 
He told me that some one will be in touch with me. No one has contacted me yet.
Can I please get a follow up, as I also mentioned this at my 10k service and I am still waiting for someone to contact me, it's now been a year. Ive sent 3 emails and a phone call, still no contact

MG woeful service

I booked a service nearly 3 weeks ago, I advised that I would be staying there until service was done , booked by their receptionist at 8.40am , I arrived at 8.30am. At 10.30am approached desk to be advised there was a long queue, my car was taken into workshop at 1pm then service was completed in 40 minutes, finally got out of there at 2 pm. So furious couldn’t speak. The term couldn’t organise a p…up in a brewery springs to mind. They could have made the appointment time after lunch if they are that overbooked.😡

WARNING !!! Never buy from Motorama Moorooka. Happy to sell cars but their service is very atrocious! You have been warned

Service manager CRAIG never returns calls. STAFF said it is after 2.30 pm Friday, he would not be in office anymore! Or answer his phone.
Service receptionist - JACINTHA was rude, curt and should not be in customer service! LEAVES PHONE CALL ON HOLD AND WALKS AWAY AND NO COURTESY. BAD IMAGE ON COMPANY.
Motorama Moorooka is appalling. Sales was easy... usual talk and the car is a good car so we decided we would give it a go. When one of the bumper sensor popped put after only 10months of driving, it took and is still taking them 8 months to fix it. The first time they tried to fix it, they just glued it using super glue! After 8 months of us constantly asking when this issue could be resolved, they gave us a date and we left the car there for nearly 2 weeks.... in that time .. we oy got one msg to say we were not getting the car back yet. After nearly 2 weeks, we got back our car only to have the sides of the car popping out after driving home! They fixed one issue but created 5 others.... somehow the seat memory is now not working , both sides of the front near the bonnet is now popping out like the glue didn't stick.on and other issues! Of course the service manager would not answer his calls when put through or ring us back so we drove back. Plus!!!!!.... when they first gave us a loan car, it was filthy and already had an accident and the front bumper was falling off and they wanted us to drive around in that crap for 2 weeks looking like that! They did themselves a favour cos everyone who saw it asked us what happened and we told them where the loan car came from so great advertising for us to tell others not to go to them. Happy to sell you a car but.... BEWARE when it's service time time or when something goes wrong !
Also the service staff there is so terribly rude. Jacintha just takes your call.... bluntly and rudely tells us . So we'll since you know the procedure then we shall by pass and get To Craig the service manager then , shall we? Rude staff! And then what does she do? Leave us on hold and WALK AWAY!
Should have listened to everyone that said..... their service level NEVER CHANGED and never to buy FROM MOTORAMA MOOROOKA.. actually ... IT DID CHANGE...from TERRIBLE TO ATROCIOUS !!!!!

They are too…expensive

They are too expensive.I took my car Mitsubishi ASX to diagnose my cvt transmission. They work on it for an hour charged me $178 and told me it will take 4 to 5 hours more to diagnose it and will cost me around $700 to $900 extra.I took the car from them and took it to one of the transmission specialist and left it for a day to diagnose it and they changed me $220. Now I'm waiting for parts to fix it. Motorama service and tyres, they are too..... expensive.

Professional service from the staff

My battery wasn't working to its capacity. I was grateful to be able to drive my Ford Ranger to Motorama Ford Moorooka, When I presented to the service department, Craig and his team provided a highly qualified service with my car. Craig and his team demonstrated genuine customer service who were very professional. and went out of their way to arrange for my car to be serviced and to have a hire car for myself to continue onto work to complete my shift. I was so appreciative of how the staff worked together as a team providing excellent service. Craig and his team are an asset to the company. Kind Regards Tania
