We do get people saying some logs are too big and others say they’re too small, so we try to keep a decent mix in each bag and avoid any real “monster” pieces going out. Sounds like you caught a batch with a few oversized ones, so sorry about that. Being a natural product it does happen now and again, but we’ll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the honest review.

Great product- great service
I’ve used Mortimers before for individual bags of both oak and birch.
With log stores now set up I’ve gone for the crates for both oak and birch.
The wood is superb as was the service - from ordering right through to delivery.
I can’t recommend them too highly.
