Great logs excellent service

Excellent, have really come to appreciate this company's efforts.
Their communication and advertising has a genuine feel together with prompt delivery and attention by the driver, making up what is exceptional service.

Crate of hornbeam logs. Incredible heat output. Harry at Mortimers was great to deal with.

quality .. however the bags were not delivered to the door but next door.. bloody heavy to lift!

A great log gives a great flame which gives great warmth.

The logs are all fully dryed and delivered in wonderful sacks and the sacks are in Cardboard boxes.
The couriers they use are mindful and helpful and delivery is normally in 2 days with plenty of notification.

Excellent customer service

We've had our log burner for 3 winters now and each year I've been searching for a decent wood supplier that actually deliver what they say they will. The Birch, Oak and kindling supplied by Harry and his team is simply the best I've ever received from a supplier.

Previous supplied wood, I've found to be damp, hard to light, too small, too large, not the species stated, sourced from spurious places etc. Store bought logs (in plastic bags) burns away so quickly and is not great value, which at first you think it is!

My experience with Mortimers has been completely different. Once the burner is lit with kindling, I add 1 or 2 Birch logs and they light instantly (really well dried) and they give off a really bright and hot flame. After that, it's just a case of adding an Oak log, sitting back and enjoying the warmth. The Oak last ages and gives off so much heat and produces a lovely flame.

Each sack is filled to the brim with top quality , dry and evenly cut logs. The kindling nets are brilliant too, all evenly cut and packed full.

Without question, this is the best value for money wood I've ever purchased and it's safe to say I won't be looking for a new supplier ever again. The guys are all really nice to deal with too 👍
