Me and my son went to rent a property and they took £80.00 each and we didn’t end up getting property or our money back and we also noticed that there was properties for rent they said was gone and was still there 6 months later constantly taking money off people- they are scammers

We sold our property in the Wilpshire area via Mortimers. The asking price, which was ultimately achieved, was slightly higher (and actually more accurate) than the other estate agents we approached. Sales process was relatively smooth (it was slow, but this was more to do with solicitors than Mortimers). The use of a centralised call handling system, in case the lines in the local office are busy, works well (and they do then call back). Veda in the Blackburn office worked very well for us.

Mortimers were great from start to finish, the communication, clarity and openness was a pleasure to work with, Leaoni and Veda were really helpful, I highly recommend them.

I have dealt with Mortimers many times and have always received a friendly and professional service.

We recently used Mortimer’s to sell our house. From contacting them to enquire about putting our house up for sale to the sale completing, the service from Mortimer’s has been excellent. We were very pleased with the valuation that we received from Mortimer’s and our house was on target for price. We received several offers on our house within the first week of putting it up for sale and Mortimer’s guided us through the process smoothly. After accepting an offer we were assigned Vendor Case Handlers who were Veda and Sam. This meant that we were kept in the loop for where we were up to in the sale and, I felt, that they pushed the solicitors forward with the process.
