Really enjoying taking the tinctures; i ordered the special box of five, and I've been combining all five types every day with a glass fo water. Feeling good. Would like to order the same gift box again next time?

As always our subscriptions arrive on time not to forget beautifully packaged. The change these mushrooms tinctures make to my life is amazing. Mainly more energy in my very busy life.

The delivery came on time and was well packed. The products were nicely presented in card board tube boxes, with the instructions clearly printed on the outside. I keep the bottle (5 blend) in the tube to protect it from sunlight and so I can easily see it. I've been using this for a few weeks and I believe my mood is better and, because the package looks so nice, it sits beside the kettle, so it fits in with my routine. I take this in the morning and Turkey Tail just before bed.

I absolutely love the packaging and branding of Mogo Farm, it’s sleek, modern, and feels high quality. However, I did find the pipette a bit clunky to use. It doesn’t quite draw up the full 1ml dose on the first go, and trying to get all the air out to fill it properly can be a bit fiddly. A slightly bigger suction capacity would make the experience smoother.

Customer service, on the other hand, was excellent. I had an issue with Royal Mail charging me to collect my order, which was inconvenient, but Mogo’s team were quick to respond, very apologetic, and sorted things out without any hassle. Really impressed on that front.

Now for the tinctures themselves. I’ll be honest, the taste isn’t for me. It instantly brought back memories of a questionable night in my youth involving flaming Drambuie! The 30% alcohol content definitely has a kick - it burns under the tongue and gives a warm belly sensation when mixed in a drink. I tend to take supplements first thing in the morning, and my brain struggles to associate health with alcohol at 6am… so unfortunately, taking these has become more of a chore than I’d hoped.

This is very much down to personal taste, of course, but something I wish I’d fully considered before buying six bottles!

In terms of impact, it’s still early days with the five main daytime tinctures . I haven’t noticed a big difference yet, but in my experience, these things often take time to really kick in. That said, the evening Reishi blend is noticeably effective. I feel very sleepy around 30 minutes after taking it, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

I’d love to see Mogo offer a glycerin-based alternative for those who, for health, personal, or social reasons, can’t or don’t want to consume alcohol. I do understand the role of alcohol in tinctures and the benefits it offers in terms of preservation and absorption, but for daily ease and enjoyment, I’m likely to try another brand that offers non-alcoholic options.

That said, I’m really happy to support a UK-based, local business, and I hope to see Mogo continue to grow and offer more inclusive choices in future.
