As another customer has said, my experience does not rate any star. I ordered a bed and a sofa bed in March, paid half of total cost immediately and since then have been trying to make contact with the company. I was contacted by phone 2-3 weeks ago to make arrangements for delivery which was to be this week. I rang last week to make more detailed arrangements and was told the delivery would be at some time in the future. I am currently trying to cancel the order - which had been marked as "bespoke" to avoid cancellations. Extremely unhappy with a company i had dealt with previously without problems and good success. I cannot help but notice that bad reviews are coming from elderly or representatives of elderly people. What a distressing state of affairs.

It is now 22 weeks since my order was placed . There was to be a delivery in w/b August 11. When i rang the delivery dept to make a more precise arrangement they told me the delivery would not be for several weeks . This can have nothing to do with my justifiably asking early in July for the intervention of my bank.

I wouldnt even give 1 star! Chair ordered in January, arrived June, didnt work! Requested refund, Rip off the elderly, dont answer phone, manager doesnt respond, refund apparently issued in june, must of got lost as not arrived in bank yet! Still waiting for over a £1000 to be refunded

I purchased a suite from them waited to 6 weeks over what they said delivered about 2 months ago I have sent quite a few emails to them to inform that the 2 chairs which form part of the delivery are developing faults but as of yet not one reply they seem to take your money and don't want to know anymore I wish I hadn't bought from them

Ordered and paid for a chair in April for my mother, we have left numerous messages but we have not received any update as to when it will be ready. Order number C2404SDE1. Date 20/4 . No reply after updating with order number. Checking on companies house they seem to have a history of bankruptcy

I am still awaiting my refund for my late mother’s order of £3250 which on the 12th June 2025 I was told in an email from management would be paid the following week. Prior to that I received an email from the cancellations team asking me for my bank details and proof that I was executor of my mother’s will. I sent all the relevant information over to them like they asked. Since 12th June 2025 I have sent numerous emails and have been ignored. I would just like closure on this matter and for me to get the refund which in a letter dated 7th April 2025 would be paid. It is now 11th August 2025 and I still haven’t received my refund.

My mother in law who is 90 initially made a purcahse of a chair via their Sales Representative. Within 24 hrs she cancelled the sale and recieved a letter confirming she would be fully reimbursed. 5 months later despite emails, speaking to an unhelpful call centre the company uses and with the Sales representative himself who promised to return my call with an update and get the money reimbursed. The monetary debt remains outstanding. We are now being forced to take legal action.

Please avoid this company - they're all promise and no delivery. Customer service is effectively nil.
They were quick enough to take my 92 year old father's money and now we can't get it back.

Note the reply - 'provide us with your details blah blah' I've done this several times - don't make out that you don't know!

Saw your latest comment - it's genuine alright and you will be hearing more from the appropriate authority!

This experience was beyond frustrating. The customer service is absolutely abhorrent — from sales all the way up to the managing director. Dishonest and unaccountable. They’re lightning-fast when it comes to taking your money, but completely disappear when you need help. No replies, no updates — just silence. If you're considering using them, don’t. I wouldn’t trust them with a penny.

Update for anyone interested, 6 says since they asked for order details and still no contact.

The company have left a message on trustpilot to telephone a number they have given and this will be sorted out. Telephoned this number same thing happening no answer. They have Margarets phone number and she is still waiting for a telephone call from them but will keep trying.

This company is a scam, they use old people to sell to old people. Read the reviews and check companies house before you purchase. I have a picture of an old gentleman that cam to sell to me which has now been passed to both the police and press...do not believe the 5 star reviews they are not true,

These absolutely scumbags took a £3000 depsit from my Mother for 2 adjustable beds, and then another £3500 final payment when they rang her up with a delivery date of July 16th.
They DID NOT deliver on the date as promised.
She got rid of her old bed the day before the delivery date, and has been left to sleep on her sofa since then.
When she told me in the afternoon that the beds hadn't arrived there yet, and had not been contacted to give her any confirmation or time slot, I looked up the company.
I was horrified with what I saw, that this company is a complete scam!!
We spent 2 whole days constantly ringing trying to speak to someone, with no luck.
We left at least 20 messages, and no-one called back.
We did ring the number that she rang to get the brochure, and someone answered straight away. Funny they answer when they think they have someone new to scam, but once they take you money, you get completely ghosted.
My next call was the bank. Luckily we managed to get a chargeback, and my mum has been reimbursed within a week.
Seems like it didn't take long for them to investigate this company and come to the same conclusion, that my mum would not receive anything, and it's a scam!!
Dont let them fob you off. You have 120 days to get a chargeback from the banks, so do it as soon as you can.

As a distressed family member doing my best to manage finances to pay for my elderly aunt's care, I've been appalled by the deceitful and dishonest practices of Mobility Furniture Company.

My aunt paid a substantial £3,000 deposit in January 2025 for a bespoke chair, with delivery promised between six and nine weeks. After waiting 14 weeks, we had no choice but to formally request a refund. Six months later, not only have we not received the chair or our refund, but unbelievably, this company is now demanding payment of the outstanding balance.

This company preys on desperate people already in vulnerable situations, and I feel a civic duty to warn others. Avoid Mobility Furniture Company at all costs unless you want additional distress, financial loss, and exploitation of your loved ones.

Had to call the bank and do a charge back, only way i could get my mums money back

So after a couple of calls from management after my first bad review, I gave them a deadline of the 2nd of July for my mums chair, and as per all the other bad reviews still nothing. So money taken, still advertising and not heard a thing. So i’ll be getting back in touch with the magazine its been advertising in to say its false advertising as they cant deliver the products but they are great at taking the money. Please don’t use this company.

Whoever is behind this they are targeting elderly & vulnerable people to steal from
and without any positive evidence to suggest otherwise, I can only conclude that the sales people are part of the scam too. The positive reviews appear to be fake and so not to be trusted.

No communication when promised replies from this company. My very negative review yesterday hasn't appeared on your site. My chairs are fully paid for but still no communication re delivery.
Shouldn't be on TrustPilot.

Please be warned about these lot.
They advise all there products are bespoke.....in there t&c's it states no refunds can be given with bespoke stuff.
However the salesman neglected to mention this is there way around the sale of goods act.
No response or call backs and no goods delivered at all.
Stay well away.
So the reply speaks volumes as they have still not delivered the goods.
Also pay by credit card folks so you have more of a legal recorse.

My mother ordered a bed in October 2024 (with an anticipated delivery of 5 to 8 weeks) and has still yet to receive it .. has tried calling on numerous occasions but nobody can tell her when it will be delivered .. wish she had ordered from another more reputable company and she'd have her new bed already .. its shocking to keep people waiting this long while giving no expectations .. and since this company clearly can't deliver on it's promises its equally appalling that they keep on taking more orders they can't fulfil .. please avoid

We were asked to provide an order number for someone to look into this .. that has been provided and it's not a huge surprise that it's achieved nothing
We've also written to the company lodging a formal complaint quoting the order number .. we were advised that the order number provided could not be located! .. sent scanned copy of the order clearly showing the order number provided .. and .. you guessed it .. haven't heard anything back from them .. the order is so late it's kind of a joke .. pretty sure we're just going to have to order a bed from a decent company that isn't trying to scam vulnerable people with false promises

SCAM… I feel so angry that this company has been allowed!!! (Or maybe not) to trade after they have gone into liquidation !
People are not going to get any money back because you will be classed as creditors… and unfortunately you will probably be the last ones to get any monies back these people who work for them have no concern for the impact on the customers… all complete and utter lies from the sales reps… no call backs or contact.. they know what they are doing… I know the names… just can’t say on here

Today 10th June 2025 .Approximately 3 weeks ago I was contacted by customer service who wanted to recoup the balance of recliner chair I was having bespoke made and it would be delivered week starting 16th June 2025.If I had paid that they would be holding £7000 of my money.As my Husband has recently died I was not able to access the bank where the funds were so arranged to call back when I could. That was last Thursday .Contacting them I was diverted to leave message found that strange.I decided to contact salesperson who said they had delivery problems. THEN did a search online about company only to find lots of you with same problem got very concerned. Rang more than 14 times and still had no positive news. Team member eventually talked to me today leaving voice mail no idea why as I have my phone at all times with me.Cut long story short I have spoken to him he said had delays and It would be 5 months delay. Why ask me for balance.No chair has started production yet.Probably never will.
Company definitely in financial problems.
If you've done your homework like I didn't you will find this isn't a Trustworthy company and no longer can say that as probably expelled from BHTA standards Please be careful as I've been told Salesmen are still on the road taking orders and asking for huge deposits. I have records of relevant conversations ive had with the company. ASK YOURSELF WHY A DISABLED PERSON WOULD WANT A MOBILITY ITEM IN A YEARS TIME.

The address on your receipt the Salesman gave you is also a scam as Special delivery attempt was no one answers door of scruffy looking house on Google address search.Second attempt to deliver was refusal.This is a zero reputable company and hope you read these experiences before you allow these Salesmen in your home.
Do not be fooled by 5 star reviews as they are also fake .Take a look at the frequency of them just a name with one previous review and dated after a genuine review that's very damming.
