Southgate Mall Location. Disappointing "service" and a cold reception.
Never felt so unwelcome in my life. Very poor customer service. Just a rude experience and will not be back. Ultimately I reversed my idea of getting anything repaired by this firm and took my business elsewhere. Unfortunately I would not recommend the company to anyone who is looking for experienced and kind service. Truly a disappointing experience all around. Would give 0 stars if able. Time to send staff to a qualifies customer service tune up course. I think it's fair to say that this company, if it hired the right people, could really succeed. If you are wanting sub-par service, I'm not sure even this bar is met.

Overpriced repair for third party product.
I was offered and charged the price as an Apple Original part, but received a aftermarket third party iPhone front screen.
The iPhone recognizes the part to be substandard and its effects on the display.

Mobile Klinic Orleans has had my phone…
Mobile Klinic Orleans has had my phone in the shop for repair for nearly 3 weeks now. Was originally told it would be a FEW days, which i was fine with. 3 weeks is NOT a few days. I have been calling that store location for the past 2 days now and nobody is answering the phone. I have called 2 of the other locations and they answer the phone instantly, but nobody from another store could assist me.
I would rather purchase a brand new phone as opposed to dealing with Mobile Klinic EVER again.
Poor Quality Repairs
I had to have the battery in my Google Pixel 4a replaced under warranty, and Mobile Klinik was authorized by Google to carry out the replacement. Just 8 days after I picked up my repaired phone, the entire display became detached from the body of the phone. I spent 3 hours going back to the Mobile Klinik location to have this fixed, but then just 9 days later the display became detached once again! Not good! Because of my bad experience I would not recommend Mobile Klinik for any repair services.

Just an update to say that this was the Ottawa stores. We subsequently got a good deal from the Online MobileKlinik (via BestBuy Marketplace). Everything seems good on that deal!
We had a coupon from our phone company for a discount at mobileklinik. We spent time on the phone and in the store trying to redeem it. No go. "Can't find it" ok. So, they have their own promo for $100 off. It's not as good as our deal, but ....
So I order the phone. Then I get an email asking if I really ordered this. They think it is a scam! I answer all the questions. Then they cancel the order as it "is a scam". I'm done with these guys. I doubt they would honor their warranty anyway. Other places are easier to deal with!
I purchased a "like new" IPhone 15
I purchased a "like new" IPhone 15. (Found out later that I paid the same price as for a new IPhone 15 from the Apple Store). The phone I purchased couldn't hold much of a charge so I returned it - I assumed a refurb, "like new" would have a new battery in it. I returned the phone on time and they are not giving me my money back. This place used to be great, but now it's a nightmare ... and they seem to have more money than ever, so what's up with that? Money laundering? I'm going to have to take them to court. What a massive hassle. Do not shop here!!!!!!

I bought a refurbished phone from Mobile Klinik thru Best Buy. After a short time the front camera would work only occasionally. I spent hours trying contact someone and finally got an email return from someone who approved a return for repair or replacement. I followed all the instructions and sent the phone in; silence… No acknowledgement of receipt of the phone; no notice it was being looked at; nothing. Then one day about 3 weeks later my original phone appeared; same phone. I knew it was the same phone from some blemishes on the screen. No repair sheet; no note; nothing. The phone worked the same as I had sent it in. Emailed the “tech” who approved to return… silence!
I absolutely do not recommend Mobile Klinik! I get it, I’m buying a refurbished phone and occasionally a bad one may go out. But honour your product guarantees!

I finally asked for a chair to sit down and he refused. He said I could just come back later.

now i know u are looking for good deals all over the internet like i was and i landed on mobile kink and u see what u want u pick the iPhone 12 Pro Max gold 256 and on the left there is a pop up get the 2 year warranty for 49.99 than u read what does that give u and it states replacement screen a case and a screen protector and battery if it goes under 80 so u think wow what a wicket deal that is now let me explain the warranty for you yes u get a case its a cheap rubber pos with no mag safe would be nice for a little extra charge u can buy an otterbox or life proof or something but no and the screen protector is nice but not enough to fit the massif screen but its there and now replacement screen i bet you will drop on a rug, and it will explode next (DO U THINK THEY ARE REAL APPLE SCREENS) nope and when u see that fake screen warning and ask you why do u care !! If you're like me and love real apple products, you wouldn't buy a car with fake parts would u nope same for phones would be nice if they posted that on their website for all to see

In 2 secs they take take take and when u want your money back u wait wait wait until u contact them through chat, and they press the little button, and it pops on the credit card u used and u wait wait wait I know it's the process but hell why can't u just pop it on as fast as you took it EPIC FAIL
what can u do to make the buying process better
1. have 3 options like first option iPhone 12 Pro Max plus and under that fake screen and photo of the message u will see all the time and face id may not work
2. iPhone 12 Pro Max with the apple screen it came with, u break fake screens unless u want to pay a bit more
3. apple 12 pro max with real screens and a 200 dollar warranty that covers you for a real screen replacement but u have only a selective number of screens after that fake go on say 5 i don't know something like that and u charge us 900 and most will pay i would of
last thing ill say is if it sounds to good to be true it is watch out :)
Meadowlands Mobile Klinic store...ZERO customer service
I cannot comment on the technical aspects of their work as I do not have the knowledge to assess.
I can share that the their 'customer service' is beyond poor due to an inability to communicate clearly.
I took my phone in on a Saturday as there was +++ echo. I had done some on line investigation with Samsung support. The techs at the store did no investigation - they took my word
about what the on line assessment said....did not offer to confirm the on line findings.... they did not have the part the on line assessment said I needed.....after waiting 4 days i had to contact them to see if the parts were available.
The tech kept forgetting he could not call me and then told me -via email- - that the problem id's by the Samsung people was not the issue. The email did not have any comments on cost or on the waiting time to see if an investigation would reveal the problem. So I drive to the clinic to find out they finally did check...discovered what they thought was the issue and once again needed a part not in stock. All could have been communicated by email.
I asked why if the part was 'in stock' as he said I had to wait 4 days...turns out for him 'in stock' means an ordered part has arrived...he also made a poor attempt at sarcasm (towards a customer) that when the needed part arrived it would then be 'in stock'. Sure put me in my place 🙄
I am hoping my phone is fixed after more than a week...and that Medowlands is never my only option.
Bait & Switch
Used their online tool to get a quote for selling my iPhone. Based on the number I got from there I made an appointment to go to the store to trade it in. Once in the store they told me it was only worth half of what their online tool quoted. I feel like the online tool is just a way to get you to the store so they can pull the old bait & switch on you. Won't go back.
Mislabeled Phone. Sent lesser phone. Claiming it’s an upgrade
They said the phone I ordered was mislabeled and to choose another one. I did. They sent me a totally different phone at a lower grade. And said it was an upgrade.
I had to start a return and refund process today, so it’s ongoing. I will update the review when that’s done.
Do not deal with Rideau centre store
Do not deal with Rideau centre store. They do not honour warranties. Took device but failed to do appropriate repairs. Manager has heavy accent so could not communicate action to be taken. Failed to move forward after a month so took device to another store and got quick repair. Less hassles and better service.
