A little history...Mill Timber Direct was established as a sawmill outlet store in 2016 in Croespenmaen near Crumlin in South Wales. In 2023, the store was re-modelled as a Mon Timber branch, to introduce new products and services offered by timber specialists Mon Timber (already well-established in Newport and Cardiff), to the local Crumlin and Valleys area. Our Crumlin branch is still located right next door to a sawmill, so we can supply timber directly from the mill.
Mill Timber Direct is now the online store for Mon Timber and with branches in Cardiff, Crumlin and Newport we can deliver across South Wales, the South West of England and nationally across the U.K.

Great service at the mill for collection but disappointed it took 3 days after ordering the timber online for it to be ready to collect. Will just drive there in future and buy onsite.

Rubbish - Avoid.
Ordered 3x poles which cost £40 to deliver… poles arrived split, spoke to someone who could barely hang a sentence together. 3 more poles arrived split- again split so refused. Now awaiting refund.
I’d never use or recommend this company- appalling service.
Only good thing was the delivery driver - who was very helpful.

Great service at a great price
Ordered Monday night and delivered first thing Friday morning. Driver was great and carried everything onto the front garden. Much cheaper than the likes of B&Q and Wickes and a good bit cheaper than the local builders merchants. Timber is of good quality and had no problems when it came to working with it. Highly recommend and will be using them again.
