MGY Estate Agents & Chartered Surveyors Recenzje

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from MGY Cardiff in selling our apartment in Cardiff Bay. From start to finish, the whole process was handled professionally and efficiently.

A special thank you to Becky, who was outstanding from our very first meeting. She took the time to clearly justify and explain her valuation, which gave us real confidence and set the tone for the entire sale. Throughout the process she was approachable, knowledgeable, and consistently proactive, keeping us informed at every stage.

Becky worked closely with us from instruction through to completion and made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and well-managed. Her professionalism and attention to detail really stood out.

We would have no hesitation in recommending MGY Cardiff, and especially Becky, to anyone looking to sell in Cardiff Bay.

I recently bought a two-bedroom flat in Cardiff Bay through MGY. I cannot recommend them highly enough for their professionalism throughout the process. Becky's support was invaluable in navigating my first-time purchase. I cannot thank the team enough.

Jake Price was really helpful through the process of viewing and documentation.

Thanks Harry!

This was our first time dealing with MGY , we had two viewings with Jake Price and found him extremely helpful in our search for a rental property. Great customer service

Really positive rental experience as a prospective tenant with MGY. From initial phone call to move-in in one week. Sian and team were very friendly and professional. Thank you!

Honestly from the first day I met Becky to view a house, I knew I’d be trusting in MGY to sell mine. I felt at ease, and at no point pressured like I had done by other companies. Supportive throughout the buying/selling process and always professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, or to use them again

The personal contact, at home, made the experience very personal and reassuring.
The valuation was conducted, together with questions we asked, thorough and professionally undertaken, explaining the reasons and providing information for the eventual valuation.

We have just completed a very difficult sale through a combination of bad actors and poor solicitors. Vicci however went above and beyond to get the sale finally over the line. Constantly chasing buyers and solicitors with a real urgency. A job very well done under very difficult circumstances. Vicci must have put more hours into this one than 10 usual sales.

I had a two viewings for rental properties with Jake Price. While I ended up not going with either property, communication with MGY (primarily with Amy Thomas via email) before, during and after the viewing was excellent. Jake was also the right combination of professional and friendly and I felt comfortable with our interactions. 10/10 would recommend viewings with MGY.

Total professionalism from start to finish!

MGY Cardiff Bay sold our house (completed December 2025) and we bought our new house with MGY Pontcanna.

It may sound obvious that a company and their representatives do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it and how they say they are going to, but our experience of other Estate Agencies has taught us that this not at all common: MGY has stood out as an example of how Estate Agents should operate! Throughout the sales and purchasing process they were honest, open, reliable, helpful, friendly, punctual, and not pushy: they treated us with decency and respect.

Just some examples of their help include: booking longer viewings for us as my husband has mobility difficulties; scanning and sending documents to our solicitors for us (because our scanner was out of commission!); and helping us measure up spaces in our new home.

Many thanks to Becky, Oliver and Kirsty for their help and support.

Super impressed with this estate agent. Normally there are lots of flaws that bug me with company processes but genuinely this has been faultless and we've actually been impressed with features they offer.

They have an automatic notification system which tells you when bookings are scheduled, then a feedback system after the booking. After a month they also send you analytics on how you're doing on rightmove.

Luca was very busy doing regular viewings and got us a great result from doing so, very personable. Also gave consistent feedback on what the viewers thought which was useful for knowing the pros and cons of the property. So we had a chance to make amendments if we wanted. Also helped us to know whether there was any serious leads or not.

We gave the company the keys and didn't visit the property at all during the viewing process. They were trustworthy and kept it in same condition it was left.

Overall, its been a great experience using this company. All the staff members we dealt with (5) were efficient, friendly and easy to navigate with. They've helped create a smooth process from start to finish, which is hard when theres high stakes as you're selling the most expensive thing you own and love.

Our property sold in a month and a half, we had listed it at slightly more than their highest estimate and achieved what they had originally estimated, which was more than another local company had valued (PA).

Do recommend.

Also the brochure/pics/vid/bio/floorplan they did looked great, highlighted the good features of the property whilst also accurately documenting for buyers.

I brought my first home through MGY and the service and experience was amazing!
The team were always on hand when I needed something and as a first time buyer with little to no knowledge they made the experience smooth.
Special shout out to Oliver and Nicky who were amazing with me from start to finish! Answering all my questions and explaining everything so I was informed and comfortable through the process.
Thank you again!!!

MGY helped us sell our house. They acted at all times in a professional manner giving sound and constructive advice in order to achieve the sale. Not only did they deal with the marketing of the property, but also gave valued advice on what works needed to be undertaken in the property in order to achieve the maximum sale price. They also helped with identifying suitable contractors to undertake this work. We were kept informed throughout the process and I genuinely believe that without their help the sale would have taken longer and not achieved such a high sales value.

If you ever want to see a showcase of how estate agents should operate, the team at MGY Barry are it!

We have dealt with the team at MGY Barry, both as a letting and selling agent, especially Vicci in Sales and Lee in Lettings, and every step of the way they have gone over and beyond.

As remote landlords we needed an agent we could trust and rely on. They were always quick in responding and finding a good quality, cost effective solution to ensure our tenants were looked after. Later on they managed the full redecoration of the property for sale. They continuously have gone over and beyond, delivering a first class service. We can wholeheartedly recommend the team at MGY Barry.

I would highly recommend using MGY in Pontcanna, we purchased a property with them and the experience was a good one. Oliver was excellent, professional and very diligant throughout. Correspondence was timely, and thorough. We will be using this Estate Agent if we move in the future.

I have been dealing with Amy with the renewal of my rental property. She has been fantastic and has delivered a very professional service. Would definitely recommend MGY as a letting agent

MGY have managed my properties on the lettings side for several years and the service is fantastic with no issues whatsoever, A great team who are professional, reliable and friendly and I highly recommend them.

As always, I would recommend MGY as your first choice of agent in Cardiff!
I was selling my leasehold apartment which was complex due to the numbers of parties involved with the building but Becky Thompson pushed for me consistently and kept the communication between myself and the buyer very transparent.
Would only choose MGY in Cardiff.

Disclaimer: I must note that my opinion is somewhat partial, as this is not my first experience renting with MGY, and I continue to believe it is the best letting agency around.

Throughout the entire process, I have had the pleasure of working with Harry Fry, and I cannot commend him highly enough. His professionalism, clear communication, and genuine commitment to achieving the best outcome for both tenant and landlord have been exemplary. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that everything progressed smoothly, which made the experience considerably easier for me—something I truly appreciate.

I remain very happy to recommend MGY’s services.
