Disappointed customer who will now steer clear
I’ve used Messy Weekend goggles for a couple of years and have rated the product, which makes this experience more disappointing.
In December, I ordered replacement lenses but mistakenly selected the wrong model. The lenses remained completely unused and only came out of the packaging when I tried to fit them ahead of a ski trip in March. At that point, I realised the error and contacted the company immediately to request a return.
Despite explaining that the lenses were unused and offering to send them back, I was told that no return was possible due to their strict 30-day policy. I followed up to highlight that this would result in a perfectly good product going to waste, which seems at odds with any claims of sustainability - not to mention leaving a customer disgruntled at the situation. The response was simply that policy is policy, with no willingness to apply discretion (which of course they could do if they wanted to). They instead offered me a 30% discount to buy the goggles which would fit the lenses! The cheek!
Allowing a return in this situation would have avoided waste, retained a loyal customer, and demonstrated some degree of flexibility and goodwill. Instead, I’m left with unusable lenses and no practical resolution.
For a company that positions itself as modern and responsible, this comes across as inflexible and purely transactional. Refusing a straightforward return of unused goods - even when it leads directly to unnecessary waste - suggests a business more interested in protecting short-term margins than treating customers fairly. I won’t be purchasing from them again, and I would caution others to think twice before doing so.
Abysmal customer service
Avoid any company that don't care about customer service.
You will:
Get the products reasonably fast with different delivery options
You will not:
Get any help at all from customer service with questions about your order, or in this case with a claim when they sent me used product.
A rule of thumb is less ways to contact customer service, the worse the customer service will be. In this case only an email address is available and which nobody seems to take care of.
They also hide behind some green washing about plastic waste that cannot be traced in any convincing way.
Avoid this company and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Customer service basically not existent at all. I have returned two pairs of sunglasses several weeks ago and still have not received any refund. No response to email or message on their social accounts. No possibility to call.

Seit dem leider keine Neuigkeiten mehr. Auf Nachfragen per E-Mail wird einfach nicht reagiert, ebenso wenig auf eine Nachricht über Instagram.
Wenigstens das sollte zu erwarten sein, wenn man die Ware doch schon bezahlt hat… dementsprechend sehr schlechte Erfahrung bis jetzt.

Really good goggles, that make the ski experience better in any condition. Sunny or snowy, still good visibility.
Wrong size
The size I received was different from the one in the description. I ordered the Tempo model, and nowhere in the description was it mentioned that they have a 21 mm bridge. Because the shop is not present in my country, it is also not worth returning them. I am disappointed because now I cannot buy something else.

Jeg har måtte kontakte kundeservice 4 gange, og selvom det er nogle meget venlige svar, jeg modtager, er der hver gang en ny forklaring på den manglende refundering - for nuværende: “en teknisk udfordring” uden tidshorisont.
Varen var fin, men ikke “som beskrevet”, så jeg var nødsaget til at refundere.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses about 3 weeks ago. I got a receipt on my email saying it would be delivered within 1-2 days and they took the payment. After 2 weeks of radio silence I wrote to them on the reply email, they sent me an order confirmation as if the glasses had been sent. GLS never received the sunglasses. I wrote again a week after and still have not heard back.

Delay and refund
I ordered these ski goggles because the brand clearly stated a delivery time of 2 to 4 days. Since I needed them for an upcoming ski trip, this was a key reason for my purchase.
Unfortunately, the package arrived more than ten days later, when I was already away on holiday. As a result, I was unable to use the goggles at all. The delayed shipping completely defeated the purpose of the order.
When I tried to return the product, I was informed that I would have to pay a 10 euro return shipping fee and that I would not receive a full refund. Paying extra money for a return caused solely by a shipping delay that was not my fault feels unreasonable.
I am disappointed with both the unreliable delivery time and the way this situation was handled. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend ordering from this brand if you depend on accurate shipping information.

The product itself is fine for the price point, however, I paid extra for the express delivery option (which I think was 2-3 days), after 3 days of no updates I emailed customer support. I received no response at all, and after 10 days in total I received the item.
As mentioned the sunglasses are fairly good quality, but I wouldn't buy from MessyWeekend again due to this experience.
