I ordered a Medacure LX-BARI bariatric hospital bed (includes cherry headboard/footboard plus side rails) and a Medacure bariatric alternating pressure with low air loss mattress on August 12, 2026. I was originally told they would arrive on August 20th locally for white glove delivery scheduling. The bed was delayed to August 24th. The white glove delivery took place on August 28th. Very nice delivery/installation men. The bed box was damage and held together with gray plastic wrapped around the box. Once opened there were plastic and wood pieces just thrown in with the bed. The men did install the bed - it was missing a cotter pin, but they had a bucket of parts in their van. Everything seems to function properly. The side rails were packaged separately and in excellent condition. There was no headboard or footboard as ordered and included in price of bed. I have called Customer Service and they are “looking into it.” I need the headboard and footboard NOW and am concerned that looking into means I don’t get what I paid for. I am questioning if I will ever see the headboard or footboard.

I enjoyed working with the representative. He answered all my concerns. Very informative concerning product of interest. Mattress arrived on time and was a perfect fit for my bed. Representative was polite, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He made my purchase quick and easy.

Website was easy to browse and find the lal mattress system needed for my son. It’s been great for him .

Customer service has been excellent! They are very prompt, knowledgeable ,and extremely helpful. The quality of the bed we purchased is wonderful! It was a significant investment, and we wanted to make sure it was the right purchase. They answered all of our questions, kept us updated on expected delivery with set up, and have helped us with additional equipment to customize the bed for my husband’s needs. We highly recommend this company. I have dealt with several different medical supply companies because of my husband’s ongoing medical issues, I wish they all were as good as this one.

I did have some problems with the bed and the accessories that took some time to resolve, but the issues were not the fault of Medshop Direct at all. Ivan and Omar were extremely responsive and proactive when it came to helping to resolve the issues. They were on top of everything from ordering to shipment and their communications were excellent.
There were also some problems with the white glove delivery service which I hope will be addressed.
