A great service

A great service. The order was delivered within 24 hours. The driver was excellent and, despite the inconvenience to him, drove right up to the location that made it easiest for us to decant the order into its storage place.

Great to hear and much appreciated as it is never easy with the size of the trucks but our drivers are great at what they do.

Brilliant driver

Wasn't sure what to expect but driver dropped two builders bags of stone exactly where I needed them. This saved me an awful lot of heavy work.

Restocking fee charged on returns

I bought a bottle of white spirit at £14.89 as I was painting and thought I might run out of my current bottle before I finished. I didn't need it so I returned it the next day for a refund. I was told at this time I would not have my full refund as I would be charged a 15% restocking fee so instead of £14.89, I was given £12.66. When I returned home and checked their website, it stated that you should receive a full refund on items like this within 14 days. If I had known this prior to my purchase, I would have driven 10 minutes further to B&Q, who have no issues returning items for a full refund. I will definitely not be shopping at McNairs in the future, so please be aware of this before you make a purchase.
