Son unos ladrones! Lo contraté por 3 meses. No pude darlo de baja por lo que pagué 9 meses más. Acabó la suscripción , me piden que renueve porque me quedo sin cobertura. NO RENUEVO Me dan la baja ayer y hoy me cobran por algo que NO RENOVÉ NI ME INTERESA.
COMPORTAMIENTO ABUSIVO!

After several years with McAffee, I cancelled due to the high price and the service seemingly no longer just a simple virus protector for my tablet and mobile but offering other things that were of no interest and some of which required additional payment.
From being a quick icon click to run an occasional DIY virus check, McAffee became difficult to open at all by requiring email/passwords that it frequently failed to accept and very hit and miss one time passwords that sometimes failed to arrive or when they did still did not work.
When my auto renewal was due and I 'phoned to request this be turned off and to express my growing dissatisfaction, I was awarded a free three month extension (I accepted but think such things are indicative of deeper company failings).
When my subscription was finally due to expire and then with no auto renewal I received no notification at all.
McAffee needs to go back to basics and offer a simple virus protector at a reasonable annual price in my opinion.

IT TOOK SOOO LONG TO DELETE THIS! I STILL GET EXTENTIONS FROM IT IN MY BROWSER. THIS "Antivirus" SUCKS. IT DOESNT ACTUALY PROTECT YOU FROM REAL THREATS AND YET QUITE LITTERALY SAYS THAT I HAVE A VIRUS FOR DOWNLOADING A STEAM GAME

Mcafee have just replied to my review asking me to contact them. What they obviously don't know is that I did contact them, they kept me on the phone for an hour whilst the calls manager dealt with other disgruntled customers, then told me there was nothing he could do to resolve my complaint. I'd been autorenewed to their product on my teenage sons computer at five times the price of a normal subscription from a free trial that had turned into an account. The best part was that the Mcafee protection was on a laptop that had to be renewed as it had developed a virus. Sounds like a scam, quacks like a scam, it's a .... I'll let you decide what should come next.

Bij aanschaf Laptop HP komt automatisch McAfee mee zonder aankondiging. Ik had net een ander abonnent afgesloten toen ik daar achter kwam.
Ik ontving een mededeling dat een verlenging er aan kwam!
Ik ben gaan zoeken om automatische verlenging uit te schakelen! een bijna onmogelijke klus! Had beter gekund.

Absolut nicht zu gebrauchen .Kosten sind jenseits von Gut und böse.Machen Werbung das es nur centbeträge wären.Dabei kommt eine Rechnung gür jahresgebühr von über 100 € dann monatlich noch einmal 3.99 € aber utzen hat man nicht im geringsten davon.Möchte man etwas mehr Sicherheit als der Standart wird es teuer und der Standart ist so gut wie nicht zu gebrauchen.Habe sofort wieder gekündigt.

Schlechter Support, sprechen sehr schlechtes Deutsch, verstehen deswegen auch sehr schlecht Deutsch, hilflos, Arrogant ,(sitzen Bulgarien der Support), bei meinem VPN-Problem, (Schaltet sich mehrmals am Tag selbst ab) auf dem Handy, kam 12 Stunden später per Emal die Antwort, auf meinem Telefonischem Hilfe ruf beim Support, man könne mir nicht helfen.....Super Sache. App gelöscht Alles gekündigt und den Bezahlten Betrag zurückgefordert und per Emil bestätigen lassen. Allerdings darf ich min. 5 Wochen auf meine Rückforderung warden, auf meine 13.99Euro. Bester Spruch vom Support,
"wenn sie solange aufs Geld warten wollen ok"
NIE WIEDER MCAFFEE.

well.... as a company that claims to manage the attacks on your PC as soon as I cancel the subscriiption my computer is bombarded with spam - its wrecking my PC. spooky that this is only within days of my cancellation - someone at McAfee is obviously sharing data held by them.

I agree with these bad reviews I too have had a bad experience with this awful company. I signed up for broadband with Onestream (not recommended either) and MCAFFEE came as an unwanted free two week offer. I did not take up this offer. I got several reminders but rejected them all. Using the information I provided to Onestream (is this legal?) they took a years subscription from my account. I am now really upset as I can’t afford it and don’t want it as all my things are Apple which comes with everything built in. So my advice is don’t use this awful company

Na verlenging ander beveiligingsprogramma
Die ik had 49.95 die ik kreeg 69.95 die koste werkelijk maar 29.95 het nieuwe programme liep vast op pc. Geen goed contact te krijgen op ned tel nr steeds verbroken. Ook beloofde restitutie kwam niet. Oplichters?

Ca fait 5-6 ans que ce logiciel de m*rde fait tout pour s'installer sur mon pc sans autorisation. l'application est nulle, c'est moche, ca ralenti le PC, c'est pas sécurisé, c'est le PIRE antivirus. FERMEZ CETTE SOCiÉTÉ d'arnaqueurs

I cancelled my account with McAfee because they were useless. Now I am bombarded with virus warning pages telling me I need to re-subscribe. If they were any good I would consider it but now, because they are hopeless, I am suffering with virus warnings on every page I open. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!

Basically a virus, came installed on my new computer. I uninstalled it, or so I thought.

Despite the progamme no longer showing on my computer, I was still getting pop ups demanding I subscribe. No 'x' to get out, need to click on and go to their site. They have become what they were meant to protect you against.

Apparently you need to download specialist software to delete.

I canceled my subscription with mcaffee
I received no email
I also received no email that my subscription will be extended
But I saw it when amount was debited with paypal
tried to contact mcaffee support.
But it is REALLY HARD to contact support.

Ich hatte McAffe vorinstalliert beim Kauf, danach war die erste Zahlung 19,95 für ein Jahr. Im nächsten Jahr wurden 86,95 für das idente Paket abgebucht. Der Versuch das gesamte Abo zu stornieren scheiterte nach gut 60min Beschäftigung damit. Der Link aus der App, der zum Konto führen sollte zeigte auf eine nicht auffindbare Seite. Der Chat mit dem Support hat nach ca. 30min zur Bekanntgabe einer österreichischen Telefonnummer geführt. Dort kam man aber in ein russisches oder slowakische Voicemenu, das nicht zum Ziel führte. Erneut mit dem Chat verbunden bekam ich eine ungültige Rufnummer und der daraufhin versprochen Rückruf kam nie. Ich musste sohin nach ca. 60min erfolgloser Anstrengungen die Kreditkartenfirma und Paypal anweisen eine Sperre einzugeben.

Meget besværligt at opsige - jeg måtte tage personlig kontakt til firmaet. Desuden efterfølgende en endnu mere besværlig procedure for at blive slettet som kunde i deres system.
Jeg kan ikke anbefale andre at bruge Mcaffee!

Er træt af MC Affe og har lige prøvet at slette min konto, det er jo helt umuligt at finde, slet konto, jeg har et par måneder tilbage af mit abonnement, men er så træt af det, at jeg vil slette det her og nu og finde et nyt, har heldigvis ikke automatisk fornyelse, men vil bare have det væk fra min pc. Lige nu bliver der ved at komme en besked om at min pc er inficeret med en trojansk hest og jeg trykker på skan og fjern, der sker bare ikke noget og er heller ikke generet af nogen trojansk hest, men vi nærmer os jo det at jeg skal forny mit abonnement hvilket jeg ikke vil.

Ich bekomme jeden Tag gefühlte Fake Mails von dieser Firma Mcaffee. Dieses Unternehmen ist das allerletzte. So sehen diese Mails aus Teilweise mit Drohungen rotes Ausrufezeichen.

Wirklich jeden Verdammten Tag muss Mc Affe Scam Affiliated Müll aus meinem Postfach aussortiert werden.
Abstellen unmöglich!. Glaubt ihr ernsthaft ich würde euer Programm kaufen nachdem mir Offensichtlich gefälschte Mails von MC Affee versuchen das ABO schmackhaft zu machen. Ließe sich ganz einfach abstellen wenn Mc affee nicht Affilate und Prämie bezahlen würde. Aber hey Money talks BS walks.
