Everything is cool, great service.

I’ve been using their service at least for three years and it’s been always good. But I guess they recently changed the flow and started to take lots more time for evaluation when we “Sell” stuff. This time I waited actually more than 13days since the item arrived their office. (I still haven’t been paid yet) The annoying thing is as soon as we confirm their offer price, the item is put on their website “for sale” very immediately even much before we receive their payment. That means they check the item, evaluate, take pictures, THEN finally mail us the price they want to offer. I guess it’s a part of their strategy to keep their cash as long as possible. This is really frustrating and I won’t try to sell my gears to them any more as much as possible.

A great place for buying and selling camera kit. Never had a problem with selling or buying. They’ve even valued kit at a better price than I was prepared for.

To start in a positive note, the communication (with Josh from MPB) was excellent. Unfortunately the commercial side was disappointing. I ordered a Tamron lens for a Canon camera ("like new" condition), paid for it and to be honest it was delivered on time. I fitted the lens on my camera and it was faulty, something with the lenses movement, it would not move, just make a grinding noise. I sent it back the next day, and received a replacement about a week later, again the replacement lens was faulty too. I sent it back, the next day, and received a third lens, the lens focusing mechanism worked but all the photos were out of focus. To be sure that this is a lens problem, and not my camera, I tested my camera with 3 other different lenses, (2 of them of the same make as the one from MPB) they all provided good results, this meant that there is nothing wrong with my camera, it could be only the lenses. Just to add, as said before all communications and deliveries were satisfactory as well as the refund. 2 of the 3 lenses arrived without proper protective wrapping, and at least one of them looked like it was drooped. 2 of the 3 lenses had dirt marks on the front glass. It would be logical to assume, that despite MPB's commitment to supply high quality and tested and clean items, in my experience, this is not the case.

Ive been using MPB since 2022 buying, trading and selling my old EF lenses, DJI drones, Ronin stabilizers and Rode mics. All the valuations i got from MPB were higher than the other companies offering the same service, in various EU countries. The products ive received from MPB have all arrived in good working order and ive never had any problems with. I find the website and transactions are clear and easy to navigate. Overtime MPB has become my go to place for camera equipment. 10/10

I've been using this company for camera gear for 2 years, and sold many items with them including a camera. I've always fantastic experience with them. They offer a very fast and reliable service . I would highly recommend

From date of collection from local DHL pick up point to receiving payment for my camera was just one week. Amount received was in excess of the original quote. Very pleased. I would recommend MPB.

I wanted to sell two lenses in great condition and buy a used replacement. MPB had the lens I wanted and made me reasonable offers for the two I was selling. They arranged the collection and the, when they my old lenses arrived there actually offered me an improved price. That was nice so I am now waiting for the selected lens to be dlivered, again all at MPB's expense.

It is all very straightforward and fuss free; highly recommended!

Since i posted on social media about this companies business practice, a number of others have all commented how they have had the same/various other issues with MBP, they used to be good at one time, but have gone down the pan completely. don`t believe their replies to reviews saying they are going to do this or than, its all to make them look good on here, the truth is they do nothing, I have noticed that the bad reviews regarding this company are growing daily, buyer/seller beware, there are many other 2nd hand camera dealers in the UK who treat the customer correctly and with decently and respect.

Good quote,fast pickup by DPD,then upgraded quote and immediate payment upon acceptance.

Super easy to get an initial quote, which was around the figure I was looking for.
Simple to print out the return labels and they even picked up the camera and lens from my house.
Better still they actually upgraded the initial quote when the equipment was in a better condition than they were expecting, which they weren't obliged to do.
I thoroughly recommend using MBP for selling your unwanted gear, and buying pre-loved items too.

Really bad first experience with MBP. I sent my drone to sell, they didn't take it because of an issue with the drone. They gave it back to me, with my box completely broken !! Then, I fixed the issue, try to sell it again. They still didn't take it. First and last time I use their service. Loss of time.

They damaged my lens and kept it two months after I sent them a demand letter with intent to sue. I am suing them for damages and replacement as well as for two months rental of the lens. They tried to say it came like that and that the focus ring was "stiff".. then they intentionally not only listed my lens, but made it dirty so they could claim it was not well taken care off.
My lens was CERTIFIED REFURBISHED .. FROM THE FACTORY! I had not used it even once since it came back from Canon.
These people are lying crooks. DO NOT trust them! They messed with the wrong person and now they WILL find out as I will now see them in court.

I sell my gear in no time! Excellent communication with the company via mail. Easy process! Fast delivery. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

BS story, my lens that was few months old and stored in normal climate had: moisture inside the optics, similar BS KEH tried: fungus inside the lens etc. I suggest to all to demand a video and pics with your serial number on it and see any defects. I inspect my gear myself in bright light inside out before I sell.

What I like....
Their pricing is competitive and almost always, better than eBay. In general, they have a wide choice of all photographic equipment.
All items come with a 14 day return policy and a 6 month warranty against faults.
Their courier service is fast, simple and efficient.
Their after-sales support is superb, whether by email or phone.
By comparison to eBay, mpb are highly predictable, straightforward, and trouble free. With eBay, I get more stress, fickle customers, remote to zero support, eBay charges, plus Royal Mail frustrations.

Très bon site... Si vous n'avez pas de souci.
Service client contacté pour deux problèmes différents. Je suis tombé sur deux interlocuteurs froids, robotiques, sans aucune considération de la personne en face.
Épluchez bien le site pour lire les petites lignes, ne vous fiez pas aux photos qui ne correspondent absolument pas aux articles reçus, ainsi qu'aux accessoires. Si vous achetez sur ce site pour offrir, ne le faites qu'en dernière minute, car au moindre souci vous ne pourrez pas renvoyer le produit. Très pratique avec un catalogue qui change tout le temps de réussir à prévoir en devant agir en dernière minute.
