User-intuitive interface and does everything I need. The customer support was fantastic when I needed to recover lyrics from the older CD-based version that I had lost the code to. Great program and great people!

The only things that I feel are missing, which TuneSmith offers, are a pitch tracker and the ability to search by author. I've written in to MasterWriter previously, but gotten somewhat of the brush off. Because of this, I have to use BOTH MasterWriter and TuneSmith. The thing I LOVE about MasterWriter is the rhyming dictionary and the way you can search points of interest in places around the world to include in a lyric. TuneSmith doesn't have that. If TuneSmith updates theirs, or if MasterWriter will actually DO an update (rather than relying on what's been done already), then I would leave one or the other. Until then, neither give everything I need as a songwriter.

I have reviewed our archives and we did respond to all of your inquiries, granted, we have not added a pitch tracker or the ability to search by writer, however, we did provide some ways to accomplish this. I will follow up with you in private to remind you of this and hopefully provide some work-arounds.

I was pleased with my email interactions with your rep - Madeline regarding my inability to explore and utilize your website as a blind user. My computer tech went into my profile to identify something there that he could access and tweak so that I could use your site. I wanted to use your site in collaboration with Final Draft 12 to significantly enhance my scripts. Please make your site user friendly for blind writers. It was easy to sign up and also cancel. I was looking for something that had more song structure help. This is basically a giant thesaurus which is not really what I wanted.

I've been using Masterwriter for as long as it's been around. It was an initial difficult transition from paper to a digital platform but I absolutely love it. It's now an essential tool that I use in my writing process and I store all of my songs in it so have everything in one place.

A very useful App for songwriting.
This program has helped me write all my original songs and I feel so blessed to be able to use the App, it is just put together so well. I can’t do without . It’s worth every penny to have. If you are stuck on writing a song the App helps you so much.

It is very expensive
It is an helpful app.
It is very expensive for what it does, at list if you are not a professional.
You should think in adding some additional functionality like for example the possibility to add the chords over the text.

Thanks for the feedback, the ability to add chords is something that is on our radar, unfortunately there are some limitations with implementing this within the word processor. We'll keep you posted if and when we have an update on this.

The only thing I do not like about Masterwriter. Is the fact one cannot open "two" different windows at the same time.

This is something we might rethink, I will note that as of now at least, allowing multiple logins has some data loss implications in which one tab/window could overwrite changes in another.
