I have never been more frustrated and angered by a company!!!!! I had been a customer at Massage Envy in Plymouth MN for over 15 years. Despite the constant revolving door and occasional waste of money with a less than useful massage, my challenge has been with misinformation given by the desk staff about making or cancelling appointments and when the concern was brought to the Mgr's attention, she was more than happy to simply shrug her shoulders and keep my money. Not willing at all to support the customer, but instead just said "there is noting I can do, you can talk with corporate". I assure you I tried and wish you the best of luck in getting a hold of anyone... you submit something online and NEVER hear back!!! I truly DESPISE this company and their lack of customer support! And the massages are certainly hit or miss as well so good luck there.

Massage Envy Annapolis, MD
I had a horrible experience at Massage Envy in Annapolis, MD. I decided to get the membership after receiving a monthly add on perk with each monthly massage. I went into get my massage and the front desk employee told me that she did not know what the monthly add on was and that she needed a physical copy of the add on. I did not have it with me (no one told me I needed it with me to get the benefit that I paid for), so I called my husband to ask him to take a picture of it. When I showed the employee the picture, she said she still could not accept it. It was just for aromatherapy (literally some essential oil) and she seriously could not add that on for me even though it was my benefit as a member!? When I questioned it, she called her manager, who agreed that I simply could not get the aromatherapy without a physical copy. I have been to tons of massage spas and have gotten aromatherapy for free with no membership or anything! It's very petty of Massage Envy. Because of this rip off experience I will be telling all of my friends/family to not waste their time going there and I will never come back after my membership expires.
Manager is a Dictator
This review if Massage Envy in Farmington Station Ut. The facility is the usual, therapist I had was great but the manager Abby is rude, mean dictator. She is obviously from the Adolf Hitler school of customer service. The therapist have little say in what goes on.
And if you're a healthy male that prefers a female therapist, you're obviously a sex offender or a sexual predator looking for their next victim. Why else would you be there?
Massage Envy in Midland is a total scam!
Massage Envy in Midland in the worst!!!!! I bought my husband a Birthday gift card that I paid in full for. He had an emergency at work and couldn't make his appointment. When I called to let them know why I needed to cancel and that I would like to reschedule his appointment the rudest women I have ever spoken to told me they will be charging me 100 percent of what I paid. This was my husband's birthday present that is now automatically gone. I was so upset that I cancelled my massage. She then told me she would be charging my card 100 percent of my upcoming appointment as well. They have my card on file and are able to charge my card without my authorization? I don't know how other message envy's work but the one in Midland Texas is a total scam. There are emergencies that come up in life and when you do the right thing by calling to reschedule an appointment that should sufficient. Instead they charge/steal your money!! They should be looked into immediately! This kind of activity should be illegal! They have stolen $330.00 from my credit card in just 1 day! The girl on the phone's demeaner was very aggressive and short with me and then hung up on me. All she kept saying was this is our policy. I don't have any piece of paper saying that! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
Gift card foul
Came out of my massage to find my brand new gift card had no balance on it. No record of it in their system, meaning it had never been activated. Had to pay full non-member price, on top of the money paid for the gift(less) card. Very disappointing,. Check your gift cards before you get your massages, folks.
Stupid People
Been a member of the Greenhaven Massage Envy since they opened. Several months ago they started charging me for appointments that were not confirmed via phone call or text (which I received for years). Tried to cancel, they said that they had no manager and that I would get a call back. Trying to use my paid for points and the person that called today said they cancelled my appointment saying that I was not a member now and that they will put me on a list for a Manager to call. They TOOK my money and now will provide my paid for services. Will never use or refer anyone to ME again. Where are the Owner???
This is the second time I’ve left…
This is the second time I’ve left Massage Envy because of their inflexible membership policies. I caught Covid 3 months ago and was unable to work. I lost my job, so can’t pay my bills. I called ME to “freeze” my membership, and they wanted me to come to the office to fill out a form (no - I have Covid). By the time they agreed to freeze my account, they said I had to make a payment (no - I’m unemployed and have no money). After 3 months of illness, they closed my account and I lose all my unused credits. I will never return.
Membership is a scam - no availability
Scam. Deserves zero stars. I work all week and it has become impossible to book a massage on the weekends. I now have 12 hours I have paid for and can't use (stupid me). The response from the manager is that I should book appointments 3-4 months ahead. When I responded i have a busy life and don't know when I will be available 3-4 months ahead, she basically said that was my problem. She told me that their approach is that it is a wellness program and I could use their other services like getting a facial (do guys even get facials?) or doing some stupid stretching program they offer (I do yoga myself), but that is not what I paid for. They will happily charge me $20/mo so that I don't lose the $900 investment I have as I try to work off the hours I have banked. Do not sign up for this service!
I had a lost gift card
I had a lost gift card. Our son accidentally lost the card. I called the local location where I bought the card. No help. They said I needed the card number. It was not on the receipt. They said they could do nothing. I contacted corporate office, they kicked it back to local. No help from anyone. Terrible customer service in my opinion. I won’t do business with them anymore.
The actor manager Calvin will massage you
If you work in Midtown the advantage is the Pseudo manager/ actor/ producing a movie about Hitler will come to your house or you can go his in Clarkston and get a massage. And if you fall on the property you will get fired. Ask Mark the owner.

One star is all I can give Mssage Envy if Wichita Kansas. They get one only because after trying multiple therapists I finally found one that was suitable. For customer service they get zero stars. I recently requested that my membership be cancelled. I asked for an email address that I could send a request to but was told someone would contact me in the next 72 hours. This was on June 3rd. I did not receive a call or text message although they tell me the notes in my account say I was left a voice message and sent a text on June 7th. I say I was nor contacted with certainty because about a week or so after the 3rd I reviewed my voice mails and text messages to see if I had missed one, but did not. The people answering the phones have not been thoroughly trained either. As of June 24 my membership has not been cancelled, they withdrew the fee again, and I am still getting the run around. The manager is never available, and does not act upon the messages the staff are supposedly sending her.
Just today, June 24, the receptionist answering the phone told me that they do not have an email on file for me or they would have sent me the cancellation request to sign!! Why couldn’t they have asked me for one when I initially requested cancellation on June 3rd!! This is highly unacceptable customer service, and appears as though they are doing everything they can to hold onto my membership and continue withdrawing the fee from my checking account. I am extremely frustrated and will spread the word to warn people not to get involved with this organization.

I would leave zero stars! I have had a few gift cards for massage envy. I have yet to have a decent massage from there. If you schedule an hour, you are lucky if you get 50 mins of massage. The last time I had a gift card and went I didn't even feel like I was given a massage. And of course it was only for 50 mins, not the entire hour I paid for. They offered me another massage but I declined. I am so thankful I have never signed up for their membership which they try to get you to buy when you arrive and when you check out! Just be aware, if you want a 60 min or 90 min massage, go elsewhere! Oh and this was on ninth street in Durham nc
Tried to book an appointment only to…
Tried to book an appointment only to see that their east providence location charges 20% over their other, already super expensive rates. No reason why, but I tried to book it and the credit card system will not allow my card. It doesn't error out, doesn't do anything, no error messages. Nothing. Total waste of time for the most expensive place on earth to get a massage. I have a feeling that Disney knows how to sell you a ticket.

Poor customer service. Extremely difficult to cancel a membership. Very limited availability for sessions.
I know the world is working short-staffed, however, when membership prices increase and you're unable to book sessions because of the lack of availability it's frustrating.
I have been trying to cancel my 2+ year membership for a month now. They have continued to charge my card on file and seems the only way to get a phone call from a manager is when you write a bad review; so here I am - writing another poor review in hopes they will finally return my calls/emails!
I visited Massage Envy
I visited Massage Envy, the Falls location on 6/28/21, given a great sales pitch on how well trained their staff is and that they were all “Professional Massage Therapists, regularly trained.”
The first session I came to was promised to be a 2 hour session with full body stretching and a full body deep tissue “sport massage”
What did I get?
The Therapist showed up 25 minutes late, did a 7 minute stretch session and a crap 40 minute massage that made the girls on the beach rubbing suntan lotion on people look like a professional.
I immediately complained to the front desk staff and was promised a full refund for the 2 hours and a replacement session with “one of their best therapists t a different location”
I agreed and scheduled the appointment.
My second session, at a different location; the South Miami location on 9/9/21.
I arrived 30 minutes early and fully explained my last experience at the other location. They told me they had heard many complaints about that "other" location, then assured me the “Professional Therapist” i would meet today was "one of their best". I was promised “this therapist was highly trained with strong hands”.
What did I get?
An individual who had been working with your company for only a few weeks, and complained through the entire session how much her hands were hurting.
Again, i immediately complained to the front desk staff and shared my extreme disappointment.
Again, same as the last location, many apologies, promised refund and replacement treatment.
I asked to speak to a manager, the front desk individuals called and spoke with “head office”. They passed me the phone and said “this manager will help you”.
I explained the full experiences from both locations and stated i no longer wanted the appointments and simply wanted my money back.
I wanted to find a different company that had fully and professionally trained therapists. I was told “All our therapists are professionals and highly trained”, my experience proved this statement was not accurate.
I said again i wanted to cancel the membership and receive a refund for the wasted sessions. I was told by the “manager” on the phone my membership would be cancelled and my money refunded.
Both times I was promised a refund. This time now from a ‘manager” at “head office” promised a full refund and cancelling my membership.
Simple and easy. A professional reaction to a very bad situation. What any good company would do.
What did I get?
Nothing!!!
Not only did i not get the promised refunds, these scammers took 3 more payments from my credit card.
I contacted the company each time a payment was taken and given an apology and more promises of correction, refunds, & claims “We respect all our clients and I would love to be able to address the issue”
Not only has this horrible company wasted endless amounts of my time in 2 different locations, via telephone and email, and failed to follow through on your promises, they have to this day continued to try to steal more money from my credit card.
And they are even sly about that trying multiple times every day using different amounts each time.
I finally put a block on my credit card so they could not steal anymore, and to my delight, i finally received a call from them under the pretense they wished to help...
the follow up call, from a “manager” Monica Trujillo monica.trujillo @ massageenvy.com, only goal was to get more money from me. She claimed she knew nothing about the reported issues, and went on to mock me, make fun of my company and threaten to sue and do damage to me and my reputation if i made any sort of comments on their “how did we do?” reviews.
My suggestion, avoid these scammers. terrible services, disrespectful and scams… This company is clearly only interested in how much money they can get from people, with no interest in the services provided, or promises made.
Please read before purchasing
1) They charged me four times while being open only half the month during Covid. So kinda hard to schedule when you would close the second half of the month.
2) I couldn’t catch up on my credits because every time I scheduled, they cancelled on me the day of (three times different months). Also, they didn’t call me until 10 minutes before my appointment when I already took off work and was on my way.
3) I called TWICE to put my account on hold! The first time I left a message because their office couldn’t answer the phone two days in a row. And the second time I talked to a staff member.
4) They kept calling calling, texting, emailing, threatening to take all my credits away (10 massages) when I had already put my account on hold.
This place beyond sucks! This is the warning you want, trust me!

I would avoid massage envy!!!! We live in Waco and I’ve never had worst customer service. A gentlemen named Brian hung up on me and denied my call when I was trying to figure out my appointment for 1/23. I was on my way to get myself and my son tested for COVID and he said he will charge me for a no show! But let’s keep in mind the handful of times they have canceled on me same day!!!!!! This place is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!! Again avoid them!!! I will be getting a full refund on my account or I’ll be reporting them to the BBB!!!

I went to try Massage Envy and was treated like a leper because I'm healthy and won't wear a mask. It's psychosis to put masks on healthy people. I told them to read the side of the mask box. It says it doesn't do anything for viruses. I also said to mask the healthy is political and I am not a communist. They said that if someone comes in it would make THEM uncomfortable. Note the lobby was empty. I said, them wearing one make ME uncomfortable and I'm not their employee. They were militant with their leftist politic and were very very rude. They denied me service even though it would be fine to not wear a mask if I stepped a few feet in another direction. Its all so insane
