Ordered and delivered on time, filled skip rang to say I was done and took away the next day.
Organised 👍🏻

Initial order was delivered on time. Replacement was due yesterday and phoned twice. First time was told would still be delivered before 4.30pm. Had to phone up and chase at 4.25pm and told would be first thing next day. Had to phone up again 10.30am the following morning as still hadn't arrived. Turned up closer to 11am

Skip arrived as promised, careful delivery and collected within a couple of days of our request to collect. very reasonable price compared to other firms. Very happy with service.

Driver was helpful put the skip where I wanted it because access was limited shame it didn't turn up until end of the day I booked it for

I would like to leave a good review but I was let down today on my skip delivery it was supposed to be delivered today 13th March 2025 but after many calls to see when it would arrive I got no were my neighbor waited in to see delivery but no skip delivered I have taken annual leave from the 14th March so I can clear our garage I only have a few days to clear the garage as we are moving I’m not happy with the service from Martin skip hire.

The intitial call was answered very professionally. Dan was excellent in keeping me updated on dropping off and picking up the skip. Email updates with all the details were also good. I will be using them again.

I went on their website on Friday and it allowed me to book a skip for monday which I selected. Monday came and no skip so I rang and they said they can’t process it that quick, which is fair enough however their website should not allow you to select that day if you can’t do it, the man on the phone said the earliest they can do it was Wednesday so I said it wasn’t ideal but okay, later that evening I did find an email in my junk folder to say the same about they can’t process it that quick and could I confirm Wednesday would be okay but because the email was sent before I rang I thought it had be arranged via the telephone conversation I had as that is what the man of the phone confirmed that it would come Wednesday. Wednesday comes, not been delivered by early afternoon so I rang just to confirm it was coming and the man that answered said yes it booked on todays slot, drivers knock off about 4 so should be there for then, 4 comes, no skip, rang again, a women answered and looked at her system and then condescendingly read me the email I was sent to basically try blame me for not replying to the email, i explained that I rang and confirmed it to come today on Monday and rang today at which point I was told on both occasions it was coming, her reply was she doesn’t know where he’s got that information from… this is really not helpful when you book time off to get on with your house renovation so now we are having to find another company so putting us back further. Would NOT recommend

Terrible service.

Skip didn’t turn up and couldn’t get ahold of anyone until the Monday as there offices are closed all weekend. Told me they would refund me but would take a week to get the money back.

I would give this company a wide berth. They decided I had completed my on line booking form incorrectly and I must need a permit and not have a drive, so they decided not to deliver. No phone call to ask; as if they had, I would have advised I do and they’d got it wrong. No skip and a wasted weekend set aside to do a job and keeping my fingers crossed I get the refund I’ve been promised.

I have businesses abroad and this company encapsulates everything that is wrong with UK businesses. Delivered 3 days late - no emails or calls to let me know. When I telephone (3 times) I was left hanging on for an answer for 11 minutes plus -"whilst they called the depot".

An excellent company to deal with providing an outstanding service at a very competitive price.
I will definitely use them again next time I need to hire a skip.

Skip turned up a day late

I ordered a General Waste skip as I was planning to do a fair old clearance in my house. Was a good job I checked my email the next day as I found out the list was quite extensive and I couldn’t put in half the stuff I was planning to put in so within 24 hours I rang to cancel it to be told that even though I was giving nearly a months notice I still had to pay a cancellation charge of £50 plus Vat. Exasperated I asked the guy I was speaking to whether he was joking to which he replied no but would speak to a manager to see if he could get it reduced. He succeeded in getting it down to £36 inc VaT which I was still not happy about but paid but they are making money off people if you give more than fair notice to cancel a skip through them. Personally I would avoid at all costs
