So I bought the tcl c855k TV solely because of the soundbar deal and I ordered the TCL Q75H soundbar with it and when they arrived I got the very small budget s55h soundbar. And it's very unacceptable because I didn't order that it's very frustrating because this was meant to be a Christmas gift and I'm very upset with the service. It's also my first time ordering from Martin dawes and it's not good impression.

First time shopper at Martin Dawes having had to take a faulty tv there for inspection/report (purchased from a large well known competitor who I will not use again!)… not only did I purchase a replacement tv for the faulty one…. I also purchased a second tv for the bedroom …. Excellent deal and great service from Stuart… thank you.
Bought Amazon - got Martin Dawes. VERY HAPPY
I bought the LG OLED48C46LA TV on Amazon but was pleased to see it was being supplied by Martin Dawes - as their web site showed the TV had a 5 year warranty.
To my horror, it arrived with no manual (as stated on the ‘What’s in the Box’ on Amazon) and with only info. suggesting it would have a 1 year warranty, or extendable to 5 years @£5.49/month.
Called Martin Dawes direct and the sales guy (Zeon Roswell) was fabulous and confirmed not only the 5 year warranty WOULD apply but, he registered it there and then AND ensured an email was provided from D&G in confirmation as well.
Alas, he confirmed the TV’s do not come with a paper manual, but in the end, the limited quick set up pages, and some intuitive automated set-up screens were all that was really needed.

Great prices and excellent service
Having looked at prices on a number of sites, Martin Dawes offered by far the best deal. I needed to make contact and had my query quickly resolved using the online chat. My washer dryer was delivered within a few days by a great delivery team who had kept me informed and respected my property. The washer dryer is excellent having a great range of programs and being far quieter than my previous machine.

Sharp practice?
I saw a vented tumble dryer advertised on Google as sold with free shipping.
I called Martin Dawes to ask a question about the appliance before I bought it. The lad who answered the telephone seemed bored, uninterested and lethargic, but did answer the question I asked so I decided to buy.
When I went to checkout I was suddenly to be charged £35 for shipping.
I don't buy from companies with sharp practices as a matter of principle (I appreciate that principles are an outdated concept, but I don't intend to change). I think MD baited the appliance with free shipping that didn't in fact apply.
I bought the vented tumble dryer elsewhere.
Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company ordered product a week ago with 3/5 day delivery time no correspondence or tracking number no emails no correspondence whatsoever, tried to contact company however the phone extension system doesn’t work, went to chat online waited and waited left message and phone number to contact, no contact made, went back onto chat later received message to say they had replied after 30 minutes and would look into it no contact via phone, sent another message through chat no response after 20 minutes tried phone line again managed to bypass extension system waited 15 minutes listening to music finally spoke to a young lad who explained the item was not even in stock and they didn’t know when it would be in stock he then spoke to manager Phil who said he would ring the company and get back to me when he had an idea when they would receive the product think this company needs firstly more staff, a new manager who knows how to manage a business and a website that can show products that are in and also out of stock and a customer service team who can support problematic issues with immediate effect

My 75" Samsung flagship TV decided to stop working just after the 1 year warranty had expired. It needed a new replacement screen directly from Samsung at a cost of £1,060.

Efficient Repair with Excellent Service, but Could Be Faster
I had an issue with my Samsung washer, which was under warranty, and Martin Dawes was assigned to handle the repair. It took 6 working days (8 actual days) for the repair to be carried out, which was a bit challenging for a large household. However, when the engineer, Paul, arrived, he was fantastic—pleasant, kind, and very knowledgeable. He quickly identified the fault and had the necessary part in his van, resolving the problem on the first visit. Paul also gave helpful advice to prevent the issue from happening again. He’s truly a credit to the company! If the lead time had been shorter, it would have been a 5-star experience.
