I ordered a 24 days of stationery box and, put simply, what a complete waste of money! So when I ordered it I didn’t realise it was coming from the USA. It transpires, from the response below, that I had inadvertently ordered it from a fraudulent website, I didn’t know this at the time because I’d never heard of Martha Brook before. Your ad for the advent Christmas Calendar just sold me to buy your product. I had questions and they were promptly answered by your staff. I can't wait to open the mailing box on December 1st.

I don't know if the review will stay this way because I bought the Advent calendar that I obviously didn't open already but the box, the delivery and everything else was definitely perfect.

I was lucky enough to order an advent calendar, l haven’t opened it yet but the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. What an amazing treat.

Beautiful diary but disappointed with the style of letter that was used for my name as the J looked like a f, even though you couldn’t choose the style.

The stationery advent calendar is as beautiful as always.

I ordered 10 letters as a gift for my wifes birthday and it exceeded my expectations. Everything was perfect right from quality to finishing and packaging.

Excellent service from start to finish. I ordered 10 personalised notebooks for a corporate order and Chris was great. The products have come down in a speedy manner and are top quality. I am so pleased I have found Marth Brook and will definately be ordering again.

As someone who had their very own (tiny) small business, it’s not something I do lightly, leaving reviews that aren’t positive, but, the advent calendar was a massive disappointment and I’ll explain why.

The artwork and design on the box and on less than a handful of the items inside is lovely and that’s what made me want the calendar. The marketing and photography is the other thing that sold it to me. Beyond that, the calendar is disappointing.

Not just the items inside, I understand, not every item can be amazing. For example, the pens are great, the little notebook is lovely, the bigger pad of sticky notes (with the woodland design on) are sweet. The majority of the other items are stuff you can find for pennies from the likes of Temu, AliExpress etc. which is not what I would have expected at all from this.

The quality of some of the items are questionable. For example the pack of sticky tabs, the paper is poor quality and mine arrives with the first couple of ones scrunched up. Not a massive deal, but not what you expect from a £100+ product.

A lot of the items are stuff you can’t even use yourself, they’re to give to someone, which I know is what we do with some stationery, but getting postcards one day, Christmas cards the next, then note cards is excessive. This brings me onto another issue, you get gift tags for one day - another product that was quite underwhelming, but, I find it cheeky to provide gift tags one day, with no string or anything to attach them, then receive some ribbon another day.

The corner bookmark that is a star and has your personalisation on seems like an okay product. You look closer at it and your personalisation isn’t even centred. Feels very rushed. The acrylic star tree decoration, which has probably been bought in bulk for a couple of quid, with your name added on… come on? For someone who has such good designs on their own products/packaging, I can tell, this is not the sort of decoration you would have on your tree and is not the sort of decoration the majority of your customers would want. It feels cheap and like one of those things you see many people flogging at Christmas time.

Overall, I’m just utterly disappointed that I’ve paid for this, I’m even more upset I have to leave an honest review - which I wasn’t going to do, but, in case these come out again next year, I want to let people know of my experience.

The box it comes in, isn’t even sturdy, so not like you can keep that to reuse, it’s a very thick paper at best, a thin card - the design is beautiful though.

Please take my feedback on board and use your beautiful designs more on the products inside the calendar and think about what you’re going to include.

Out of the 4 different sticky notes, only two are decent, the other two are basic, cheap sticky notes you can get for pennies. 3 different types of clips, with no real design on them, is pointless, these can be picked up in The Range for a quid or something. The acrylic star decoration is just a big let down all together. The paper mushroom is a bit deceiving - your marketing shows a beautiful mushroom decoration. The ribbon for one day is an insult.

Can’t fault the customer service as I did ask for this early due to leaving the country for a few months and they got it out to me, but the product on a whole is just not what I was expecting at all.

To end, I would like to say, the two pens, the little notebook (although, I think most people would have preferred lined paper), the compact 2025 calendar, pen holder and the woodland bookmark are the lovely, but worth £100+ absolutely not.

I had a diary bought for me by a friend years ago and I’ve went on to buy one every year now for myself I love the design and how it lays out the year ahead.

Beautiful note book ordered for birthday present. Exactly as described. Packaged well and arrived when said. Very very happy. Would highly recommend and will be retuning in the future.

Customer service was excellent. Product was an excellent quality and beautifully presented in a presentation box. I bought the book as a gift and the recipient loved it. Would definitely use the company again.

Disappointing and cover with lettering a bit tacky. The planner went from 9m to 3 m and unlike BRIDES - downloadable check list- there was way too long a gap
Initially I had thought some pages missing but no when I asked that I got a plain no. Not the best customer service. One for the recycling bin me thinks. The website pictures do not specify the sparcity of time lines. The whole purpose of a planner is surely just that to help one PLAN - 3m gaps between dates too long.
