There are no words to describe the absolute diabolical service I received from M & S after purchasing a piece of furniture that I need to return due to faults etc , no words ....the service is so bad that I genuinely think I have purchased from a scam M & S site !! Beware!

Today I telephoned to chase a refund which was two months overdue. I was told by a very rude and unhelpful man that although he could see on his system that my return had been received in their warehouse, he couldn't refund unless I gave him my parcel tracking number. I couldn't believe this - they wanted proof of a return although he could see the return had been received in their warehouse. I asked why and he replied that it was M&S policy. I also enquired about why I had been charged £132.50 for an order totaling £119.04. He said that I had ordered 10 items when my order summary clearly states that I had order 9 items and I had received 9 items within the parcel. Be warned and double check your payment as it may not correspond with your order summary. I can't convey how disappointed and upset I am with M&S and I have been shopping with M&S for 25 years or more. Very unlikely to shop again now.

Most retailers are beginning to realise that consumers do not want to eat farmed salmon yet M&S are actively promoting this product in TV ads!!!
I ask all M&S customers to read the reports about the harm that fish farms do to our environment and urge them to write to M&S to ask them to stop stocking this product. Please M&S do not destroy your reputation as a purveyor of fine quality foods for the sake of short term profits. Thank you

Having (my wife and I) been M&S customers for over 50 yrs, we will NEVER shop there again.

We had two Christmas (presents) jumpers to return @ just under £40. Yes it is late but we were restricted to a 5 mile zone ie C19. It was pointed out in the small print of the receipt that we could have sent them back. However, as they were presents we did not at the time have the receipts and waited until the restriction was lifted before asking our daughter for it

Anyway the long and short of it is - we will give you £1.87p per jumper. That is a scandalous abuse of customer trust.

You have conned us on these items and lost customers for ever and a day - hardly surprising that M&S clothing sales is going down year on year.........Bye.

Shocking customer service. I made and order online to go to store, all went through, but never got a confirmation email with an order number. I have called up and apparently they have no order from me. The money has been taken out of my account, but as i don’t have an order number, they can not refund me. So they have taken my money and i have nothing for it, wish id read the reviews before ordering

The customer service that we received was awful
They do not read the complaint correctly and the English is very poor grammatical
They also do not say sorry
Presumably it is not UK based

Ordered flowers but used an incorrect post code, after 30mins no changes could be made despite there being 5 days between order and delivery date. Customer service rep said since it was my fault he couldn't offer any help or entertain any refund. Shocking arrogant individual, don't order from M&S

I spoke to Andrew today who was extremely helpful, polite and professional. He explained everything clearly about switching my gas and electricity. The whole process was simple and painless. I thoroughly recommend M and S.

Really bad customer service , I contacted m&s about being charged for goods I never received. I was asked to email the bank transaction as proof of purchase and I would receive a full refund . I never received any refund and they just ignored my emails . M&S are just thieving criminals . Never shop with them again .

The worst customer service ever. I rang to ask for a return label as don't have printer to print it off. The first lady l spoke to wasn't sure what to do and told me to hang on which l did for 10 minutes and then phone went dead! Rang again. Spoke to another lady who was equally as useless as the first one and insisted l can't have a returns label by post. I asked for their address and said I'd just pay for flipping postage. She didnt know address, told me to hang on....and yes you guessed it....phone went dead. I give up. I will never ever deal with M/S again. I've now found their address online and will post it tomorrow with a request that they refund postage but I wont hold my breath!

Have only awarded one star as there wasnt an option for zero. I will never, ever use M and S flowers again. A complete rip off and they use photos of beautiful bouquets to lure you in. When in reality what you receive is little more than a petrol station bunch for triple the price. When you complain, they patronize you about how the flowers will bloom after a few days and how to look after them. A load of rubbish. Nowhere near as many stems as in their photographs. Avoid!

Ordered flowers for mothers day to be delivered on sat 13 between 7am to 7 PM Monday now and still not been delivered Ruined Mothers Day so thank you Mark's and spencer tried to ring customer services to get cut off after 30 minute wait I assume lots of peoples mothers day ruined

ordered in advance for a bouquet of over 100 daffodil blooms to arrive for mothers day wanting to cheer mum up. what turned up were 60 knackered daffodils. put off for life.

Ludicrous service where you are lied to!

I bought the wrong product and told me to come the next day to change it. Surprisingly, the next day they say they can't do it!

The manager treating with such a lack of respect that you feel that you're speaking to a wall.

This is shameful and they show a terrible image between lies, false committment, absence of respect and lack of consideration of even looking for an agreement.

I've lost trust in this company and will never go back.

Shocking online service from M&S. Ordered items on line, paid and received confirmation emails. This morning received 2 cancellation emails stating no stock. I cannot understand how a company the size of M&S cannot have proper stock control measures in place. Very disappointing.

Bought on line from Marks and needed to return some items - no return label! Apparently I have to go on line and print a form out - but I don't have a printer. I had to take it back to the shop. I put a complaint into the shop at aintree to see if anything can be done to make on line shopping easier. But was told this is the way forward and nothing can be done. She was totally unconcerned that myself and others can't afford to risk shopping on line with Marks.

We are all shielding and no one can drive in our house and we have no transport or any family nearby to help us and I would love to have the family meal deal for mother's Day but it is in-store only so we will miss out again

Far too frequently we reach the checkout for an online order and find, only then, that items are unavailable. Go back and add another item to reach the £50 minimum and try again. Another, different item is now unavailable. Why do they let you put unavailable items in your basket?

I have now been served by Nicola at the M & S in Harrogate. She is always so helpful/smiling and eager to offer advice. It always helps when you come into a large store to meet such friendly and helpful staff who goes that extra mile.

People are saying that to watch certain salmon but that one of can happen to anyone as a custoner of marks for 38 years and never had a problem as live their foods and clothing
