Great Customer Support
I ordered two Roland trigger cables from Mall Music with express shipping, and they didn't come within the expected timeframe because of supply issues.
I contacted their support team and asked for a refund for the difference between express and standard postage. They were excellent — and expediently and seamlessly refunded the amount.
Overall, I was satisfied with my experience and would buy from Mall Music again.

Dreadful after-sales service.
Dreadful after-sales service. I purchased a new guitar online from Mall Music Macquarie which had a faulty nut. They said that I would have to return the instrument at my expense for repair work. Disappointing.

The Gentlemen who served me was really helpful and in the end I got what I wanted, so all good.
The only problem I was given a gift voucher but for some reason I couldn't use it in the store, only online. I have always been able to use my gift vouchers in store so why has this suddenly changed? This is absolutely ridiculous.
I was lucky that the in store attendant could help me find what I needed on my phone to purchase the items online but it took so long (at least 20 minutes) when all I wanted to do was obtain the items and leave because I had already chosen the items from the store?
Please change this as it makes no sense at all.

We're sorry for the inconvenience caused to you by this administrative process and we appreciate your patience as the our staff assisted you redeeming this online voucher in store. It sounds as though your previous vouchers were purchased in-store, and this recent voucher was purchased online.
Our in-store and online voucher systems are currently separate systems. While we recognse that this may seem like a simple fix, integrating these systems involves a significant investment for our retail operations - particularly as we have been trading as a physical retail store for many decades prior to selling online.
However, great news - we are currently in the process of transitioning to a new platform which will ensure that you can use your gift vouchers seamlessly both in-store and online in the future. This is a mighty task, but it's worth it to know that these systems will soon be integrated thus avoiding such issues in the future.
