I reported an issue and Magna got back to me within 48 hours as agreed. They are sending a builder to my father's address tomorrow. Thank you for a prompt professional and friendly service.

Plumber came and replaced my toilet seat.was in good time and took 5 minutes.This was his second visit but not his fault.He was told that my washing machine was leaking.I don't have a washing machine.This was something I reported as the communal machine about 3 months before(was fixed).Very weird report.Needless to say the plumber didn't have a new seat with him so I had to report it again.All is fine and dandy now.Was all a bit messed up.I was using a toilet cage following my ankle accident so decided to change to an ordinary Loo Seat.Which I had but some parts were missing so it wasn't as stable as it could be.The plumber was really helpful all the p
way through it all

The gentleman Magna arranged to visit with me was extremely nice and thoroughly scrutinized the 'black stuff' on my walls and ceilings - he climbed into my attic only to let me know I did not have enough insulation covering the attic and explained to what extent how much was missing. He was with me quite a long time assessing the property and informed me of everything that required doing including a good wash down of walls and ceilings - this has since been arranged and awaiting for appointment date - Thank you MagnaMan

The repair was actioned promptly & efficiently but it took 3 communications before an engineer was sent out the same day instead of a 3 week wait

Polite and respectful and very patient with my complaints.
Bob is a gem and works very hard and I do appreciate his honesty and service to myself and his company.
The only complaint I have is a continuous barking dog throughout the day which I have been reporting for 6 years now and nothing has been done about it.
The dog lives below me and often starts barking at 6am and intermittently up to 7or 8 pm.
I find this unacceptable and I suffer with mental health issues and this in no way helps.
It’s even been suggested I move, which seems unfair because I’ve been with Magna for over 30 years now.
I have recently applied to move now because the situation is often unbearable.
I have spent over £3000 on carpeting and noise proofing but this has not helped at all.
I can only hope I find somewhere more quiet at this stage of my life .
Oh by the way I get on very well with all of my surrounding neighbors so do not complain for the sake of it.
I am now 71 and getting older and just require a decent and quiet lifestyle.

As a magna tenant for nearly 3 years. The amount of repairs & mould I have reported is shocking. As the disrepair of my front door that I have repeatedly reported since September 2023. The frame isnt even straight, the door is slanted inwards & hanging onto it's hinges. The amount of bugs that have entered due to this is disgusting. I have a massive phobia of the 8 legs, the beasts I have encountered because of this disrepair has had me terrified & multiple nights of NO sleep. It's also a hygiene issue & not on my part! It skyrockets my electricity bills for how cold the house is, I even have the door taped up for heat, inconvenient! Daylight can be seen through the gaping gaps at the top & the side! It's also a huge security risk! I am sure i'd be blamed if anything went missing in this house because of the disrepair. May I also add, last year I was accused of not making any reports about it since Jan 2024. I have an email as evidence of this being said. But I also have all of the emails from the numerous reports I have made about the front door. I called a couple months ago to be told they can see my reports have not been followed up, funny that. I have had so many issues being a magna tenant I could write a book.
The biggest issue, myself & my two children (recently 3 & recently 2) have been harassed & verbally abused every single day & night without fail since September 2024! What has been done about this? Less than bare minimum! I've had at LEAST 3 repair guys from magna witness the harassment. But according to my housing officer, i don't have enough evidence. I also use an ASB app which has MANY notes & videos uploaded, yet nothing has been done.
Next door mock & mimic my children having tantrums, squabbling, laughing, playing, since they were 9 months & 1 year old. They also call my children names, such as pigs & rats. They hammer their fists on the wall if we make any slight noise, but they make deliberate noise ALL day/night long! It's literally on the ASB app! An all male household at nearly 50 & two nasty sons in their 20s, bullying a female & two very young children day in day out. Where's magna's help? Why is the problem still happening 18 months later? He called social services on me so many times last year with proven false allegations, that they called & read all out to me & said they've blocked his future calls & deleted the previous accusations. He put us through SO much trauma!!!!
I have a rare neurological condition & my 3yo has autism, this is absolutely unprofessional to be forced to put up with such vulgar behaviour from neighbours. But would soon check in if rent was late. I actually cannot believe the amount of emotional stress & depression I have experienced, & still am experiencing from such lack of care. Your duty is to provide a safe & quiet "home." If roles were reversed & the those who are well aware of the continuous situation, they'd have it sorted for themselves. Absolutely certain they wouldn't allow their kids to be put through so much torment. So why are mine being forced to?! The neighbours from h€ll bang around the house, stomp with every use of the stairs & huge emphasis of the top step. Slam doors, drawers & cupboards often throughout the day & most certainly at night up until 5/6am - they stay up every night getting high, drinking & eating junk. They aim to make as much noise as possible to wake us, or wake my toddlers to get at me. Even my mum gets glared at! He has called us c**ts in front of my toddlers 4 times. Shouts shut up when playing in garden. I've a lot of people from different professions that have heard them & all are mortified that nothing has been done to help move us.
My housing officer & community safety all know how desperately I want to move away from those people, so why am I always left to deal with things alone. The ASB app is a waste of time, it's a distraction to stop contacting with harassment complaints.
It doesn't take 6 months to see the abuse me & my girls (& my mum) deal with 24/7, when there's enough proof in less than a week. The last 3 months, I barely uploaded a thing due to the obvious negligence while they're living contently.
The only people I've had no issues with at magna, are the guys that have fixed *other* repairs & have witnessed the hassle on multiple occasions. However, can't say the same for the surveyor, he has been rude, disrespectful & judgemental both times he's been here to look in the attic. Placing his manky ladder on top of my swarovski crystal shoes (both times) & telling me to move things out of his way as he stands there looking down at me, making ignorant comments. All for being a "clutter" while I sort through baby clothes that were then too small. Him shaking his head has been caught on camera too. I dread to think how his partner feels if one item be left out of place. Stinking attitude of a stranger in mine & my toddlers' space

We recently purchased a new-build property where the boundary fence between our garden and a public footpath is owned and maintained by Magna Housing.
Late last year, one of the fence posts became loose during strong winds. We reported this expecting a straightforward repair. Instead, approximately 15 metres of the decent wooden fencing was removed. Since then, the boundary has been left completely open, meaning there is currently no privacy or security as people can just walking into our property from the footpath.
We have been waiting several months for this to be resolved. We have now been informed that the replacement will be chain-link fencing, but we have not been given any indication of when the work will take place.
We want to install our own fence to match the standard of the original fence which will cost us in excess of £1,500. However, we cannot reasonably proceed with this while we are waiting indefinitely for Magna to install their own boundary fence which is more than frustrating.
While we were in our garden recently, two separate local residents spoke to us independently and mentioned that they themselves have been waiting over a year for fencing repairs so we’re not holding out much hope…

Have been a Magna tenant for a long while and always had excellent service and the staff are very helpful and friendly and polite and respond very quickly to any questions or problems that I have had and normally have a date to fix a problem quite quickly and Tabitha who last dealt with my issue was so kind and sorted out for a person to come fix an issue
