I purchased a £62,000 from Lynton in March 2025 only for it to break down 1 year later. Not only that, 3 and a half months later, Lynton still have my machine with no end in sight as to when it will be repaired. A replacement loan laser was sent after a month of chasing and I was told it was a brand new laser that hadn't been sold yet, however, this laser isn't fully functioning either and it turned out it was a training laser that they has been using before.
The worst thing about it, is the false hope of when things will be sorted and fixed. Delay after delay and always shifting the blame on to DEKA and how busy they. Almost every single time I have been promised a call back from Lynton with an update, it doesn't happen. I was contacted by a manager in the beginning who said he empathised with my situation and that I could message him at any point. Over 10 emails were send with no reply! All through this process I have still had to pay finance payments, house hold bills, business bills and I have been bleeding customers ever since fiasco begun.
They have openly admitted that the engineers were struggling to figure out what was wrong with my machine which shattered my confidence in this company. I am beyond disappointed with Lynton. I have invested everything into this company, only to be left high and dry.
I was told that by the end of last week, I was going to have a date of when my machine would be delivered, and to no surprise at all, absolutely no update was given to me. I am still, to this day chasing Lynton with promises of calls back that never come and have absolutely no idea when it will be returned and I can attempt to salvage my business. This is not the support I was promised at the beginning and for a company that markets itself as the UK's number 1 laser company in the UK, nearly 4 months to fix my machine, is unacceptable. I dread to think how long they would leave it if I hadn't have chased. They seem to be very good at selling themselves, but when things go wrong, the support is disastrous.

We purchased the SmartXide Deka CO2 laser from Lynton and have been absolutely blown away by not only the performance of the device but also the exceptional level of customer service and ongoing support provided. From the very beginning, the experience has exceeded our expectations.
The results we’ve achieved so far have been fantastic, with noticeable improvements across a range of treatments. The technology itself is incredibly effective, reliable, and versatile, allowing us to confidently deliver high-quality results to our clients. It has quickly become an invaluable part of our clinic.
We’ve had a lot of laser training across various treatments over the years, but my training with Rhiannon, along with the continued support she provides, has been truly outstanding. Her knowledge, professionalism, and passion for what she does are evident in every interaction.

I recently completed the Level 4 HIFU training course with Emma, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely outstanding.Emma is an exceptional tutor who possesses an incredible wealth of knowledge and industry expertise. She explains complex anatomical concepts and technical settings in a way that is incredibly easy to understand. Her teaching style is patient, encouraging, and thorough, ensuring that every student feels completely confident before moving on to practical work.The hands-on training was meticulous. Recently purchased more quality equipment. After being in business this long, I know the good from the bad! These are top of the good list.

We have been impressed with the LYNTON DYNAMIX. Having worked with other laser systems over the years in clinic, we can definitely say that the Dynamix is a step up in both performance and versatility.
The Dynamix allows us to offer a wide range of advanced treatments, and the clinical results we have achieved have been fantastic. In particular, we absolutely love the IllumiFacial, which has become one of our most popular treatments with excellent results.
Since introducing the Dynamix, we have seen a noticeable increase in demand for our laser services over the past year, which has been fantastic for our business.
The support from the Lynton team has also been exceptional. Eloise has been fab—always helpful, responsive, and supportive. Our training with Emma and Becky was excellent. Both are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely friendly, making the learning experience both informative and enjoyable.

I purchased a machine from Lynton, and unfortunately my experience has been disappointing.
Initially, everything worked as expected. However, after approximately one year – during which I had carried out only five treatments – issues began to arise, particularly with the RF module, which was eventually replaced.
As for the HIFU, I did not notice any problems at first as I had not been using it. However, once I started using it (again after only a few treatments), it stopped working altogether.
I contacted the company and was informed that the issue had arisen due to a delayed technical inspection, which had only exceeded the deadline by two months. I was offered an inspection appointment in five weeks’ time, but two days before the scheduled date I was told the engineer was unwell and that I would need to reschedule for a further two weeks later.
After sending approximately ten emails explaining that I could no longer cancel client appointments, I was eventually offered an earlier slot, but was told that no further assistance could be provided as I did not have insurance.
This raises concerns as to whether this may be a strategy to encourage clients to purchase insurance, particularly given that even with insurance, the cost of replacement parts is still borne by the client.
Today i had the inspection.
Following the inspection, I was required to pay a considerable amount for:
* an RF component
* the full replacement of the HIFU cable (due to failure in recognising cartridges)
2 hours after the inspection unfortunately, the doctor has a consultation- new client which I had scheduled a patient for HIFU, I had to stop the treatment halfway through due to the same issue – the machine was not recognising the cartridges.
This situation made us appear highly unprofessional in front of the client, as we were forced to cancel the treatment.
I have come to the conclusion that this machine operates unpredictably. Both I and two colleagues, to whom I recommended this equipment, have had similarly negative experiences.
From a commercial perspective, the company is extremely responsive when it comes to sales. Prior to the HIFU issues, I contacted them regarding the purchase of a CO2 device and received constant follow-up and support. However, once I raised concerns about the HIFU, communication ceased entirely.
Overall, my experience has been frustrating, costly, and difficult to manage in relation to my own clients.

Every encounter I've had with Lynton has been exceptional. The knowledge demonstrated by the sales team, service engineer, and especially our trainer Janet, left us thoroughly impressed at every step. Janet, in particular, was incredibly informative, helping us operate our IPL with the utmost safety and efficiency.

Lynton are brilliant when they want you to buy from them; providing support and training, but this soon ceases once you’ve got the machine. Promises are made by Lynton and not fulfilled - I was told that there was an option to sell my machine back to the company but when I tried to do this due to a change in circumstances, staff at Lynton either fail to respond or simply deny this promise despite me having it in writing.
AVOID LYNTON!
As a clinic owner, I had high expectations when investing in Lynton’s Lumina device, based on their reputation and the assurances made at the point of sale. Unfortunately, the aftercare experience has been extremely disappointing.
I paid an £888 call-out fee to be offered a repair date nearly three weeks away — despite their website advertising a “48-hour engineer call-out guarantee.” This delay was unacceptable for a business-critical device and completely undermines their stated service standards.
There was no proactive communication or urgency from the team, and I’ve since had to submit a formal complaint and request a refund for the service not provided. The entire process has been frustrating and unprofessional.
Lynton are quick to sell their equipment and highlight their support services, but in practice, they do not deliver on those promises. I would strongly advise anyone considering one of their devices to source their own independent engineer in advance, as relying solely on Lynton for support may leave you without essential service for extended periods.
Very disappointing from a company I had trusted to support my clinic.

I've been coming to the Lynton clinic for over 10 years now. First in Cheadle and then Holmes Chapel. I've had some amazing practitioners and always had great and successful Thread vein removal treatments. Stacey is who I see now and is warm and friendly but really great at her job. Even if they moved further away from Stockport, I would still travel to be treated by her.

I have had my Excelight machine for almost a year now and I’m still so pleased with my whole experience with Lynton laser. Eloise made the process of choosing the best machine for my salon very easy and I felt very supported throughout the whole thing. The customer service team are so helpful and efficient, nothing is ever too much trouble. I would 100% recommend using Lynton, excellent machines and excellent service.

Buying a machine from Lynton was a really good experience from start to finish. Eloise was my point of contact and she went through everything very smoothly. She was always available and made sure that I didn't have a single doubt regarding the machine, service and after services all through. Becky was in charge of training me and she was very good. She gave me very good theory and hands on practical training using all the different features of the machine. Very happy with the machine and the great staff they have😊
