I would not recommend buying from this company.

The products did arrive, so I can’t say it’s a scam in the sense that you never receive anything. However, my experience has been extremely disappointing.

The sizing runs much smaller than expected, and the quality was nowhere near what I was expecting for the price. My elderly nana spent over $120 on these tanks and was very disappointed.

The biggest issue has been customer service. The website tells you to email them, but the email link on the site directed me to an incorrect email address, meaning my original email bounced back and was never delivered. I then resent my email to the correct address, completed the contact form on their website, and contacted them through Facebook. Despite multiple attempts over several days, I still have not received any meaningful assistance with our refund request.

I also noticed there appear to be several nearly identical websites selling what look to be the same products under different brand names (for example, Lyn’s Tanks, Maggie’s Tanks, and Mary’s Tanks). That made me feel much less confident after placing the order.

If you’re thinking of buying, I would recommend researching the company thoroughly and reading recent customer reviews before spending your money.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again.

First, the tanks are great. Everything that is said on the website is accurate. Second, I ordered the wrong size and the online support was fast, efficient and friendly.

They have tried to help me sort out why my payment hasnt gone through. Still trying.

Lyn's Tanks previously operated a .co.nz site that disappeared overnight, and also advertise as Mary Tanks, Rosie Tanks & Maggie Tanks. Their pattern is consistent: cheap, badly made products drop‑shipped from mainland China that bear no resemblance to what you purchased, with sizing much smaller than stated.

The store’s marketing, reviews, and product claims are fabricated to create a false sense of legitimacy. Refunds are difficult to obtain, and many customers report being offered partial refunds framed as goodwill gestures — these offers are designed to keep as much of your money as possible and discourage formal chargebacks (which carry penalties) and should not be accepted.

If you’ve purchased from this retailer, request a chargeback via your credit card provider. If your payment was processed via an online store e.g. Shopify, submit a scam report to Shopify as well, and flag any related advertising on social media. To save others from the same fate, please report to local police and other agencies that control online crime e.g. Commerce Commission, Netsafe, Scamwatch Australia. etc.

Had a lovely first-time shopping experience with this company. Lyn herself handled all my queries and I was amazed to find out that it has been shipped to me less than 24hrs later, something that rarely happens for me. Thank you Lyn!

Very helpful and got straight back to me with a sizing issue and quickly offered to rectify. Immediate response to Emails.

Tank tops are soft and comfortable - will wait to see how they stand up to daily wear and how replacement size goes but suggest sizing up.

This is a scam ghost store pretending to be local. Previously operated as lyn-tanks.co.nz until it was shut down. They target customers in different countries with duplicate sites: Maggie's Tanks, Rosie Tanks, Mary Tanks and probably others. Goods are shipped from China, nothing like what's advertised, extremely poor quality and WAY too small. Complete rubbish basically that you can buy on Temu for under $3. Website reviews and medical claims (targeting 50+ women) are totally fake.

If you too have been scammed, report it to your credit card company and get a charge back. You will need to offer to return the goods (they will not provide a return shipping address, but try to fob you off with a 30-50% refund or charge you more $ to get replacement sizes). Do NOT accept this. Keep all correspondence. Be sure to report to the NZ Police, Commerce Commission and any other local agencies dealing with internet crime, also report as a scam the ads that targeted you. This is fraud on a massive scale and they need to be stopped!

I really wanted one of these as I ditched bras when I retired (never liked them for over 60 years!!) and have been making do with a built in bra in a tank top from The Warehouse (only about $9.99 from memory). The Warehouse “bras” have been pretty comfortable, but I thought Lyn’s Tanks might have a bit more class!
However Lyn’s Tanks don’t really appeal any more.
1) they are not a NZ designed or NZ based firm.
2) it is impossible to contact them - website address does not work, nor does their email address
3) I finally did receive my tank after 4 weeks. Raw edges - in some photos you can see these rough edges if you look really closely, but there are also other photos where the edges are not raw.
Sizing terrible - I got XL 16-D. Too small and I can see the bra pads will not last in their correct place after even one wash.
However I’m just giving it up as a lesson learned now. They are impossible to contact.
The idea is great- the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

Sadly the sizings are completely wrong, followed the advise and ordered a couple of sizes for my Mum to try - normally a 14b (NZ) struggled to even get the 2xl over her head! Complete con as when you ask for a refund you get fobbed off - definitely not designed in New Zealand for average framed women

So far so good once I get my replacement Tanks I’ll be very happy.
