Luxreaders is a Danish company with roots in Copenhagen. The company is founded with the ambition to digitize the purchase of reading glasses and end up with the notion that reading glasses is a necessary evil that must be boringly designed and poor in quality. Therefore, we have done our utmost to produce some reading glasses, where both design and quality are top notch while they are still affordable. We’ve many years of experience from the optical industry and have therefore closely monitored how the market for reading glasses is largely driven by gas stations, supermarkets and the like. These businesses focus to a large extent on low prices, high margins and preferably a high frequency of repurchases when customers' vision has to be corrected. The result is bad and ugly reading glasses in poor quality. We want to change that! I bought 3 x pairs of reading glasses at a big discount price even though they were shipped from Denmark to London! All the glasses are of superb quality and they look very stylish worn. I honestly wouldn't buy any other brand!
I placed an order with Luxreaders in April 2026. Royal Mail tracking shows the parcel marked “Delivered,” but the proof-of-delivery photo clearly shows a label addressed to a completely different postcode in another city. The parcel was handed to an unrelated recipient and I have never received the goods.
Luxreaders’ response was to tell me to wait and see if the parcel is eventually returned to them before any refund could be considered — despite UK law (Consumer Rights Act 2015, s.28) placing risk with the retailer until delivery to the customer. A promised follow-up from a colleague never arrived, and subsequent emails requesting a refund have been ignored.
Disappointing service and a poor grasp of consumer rights.

Terrible delivery. My package hasn't been delivered for two weeks, it's gone missing, and there's been no contact with the seller.
The only place where I found a glass with the design I wanted in the size of my big head. Great product, nice design, quality build.

For an affordable price, the customer gets durable glasses made of good materials. And the offer includes optical sunglasses that simply saved my vacation. I've had them for several years now. They have swam in the sea and pool many times and still show no signs of wear. I ordered more sets with a discount.

I just wanted to thank you for your excellent glasses and service. I was very impressed by the swift delivery time but more importantly very pleased with the 3 glasses I ordered. They fit my face very comfortably and the magnification I chose (1) seems perfect and especially comfortable when I work on my laptop. In fact the sharpness of image is much better than prescription glasses I have ordered from opticians. Now it is down to me to not scratch them or lose them! A challenge but such a great quality product will at least encourage me to look after them.
