We came to celebrate a birthday in the California snug and we absaloutly loved it! We loved every minute of it. The views where amazing. The hot tub was amazing. The firepit was a great way to end our night. Had everything we needed. I would however say that the extras are a little pricey. I added on the firepit pack and celebrations pack. The firepit pack was worth the money but the celebrations pack I wouldnt say so as I only got a handful of balloons and a banner. In the description of the pack there should have been a helium balloon aswell? But other than that I couldn't fault our stay. We will be back thats for sure. We didn't want to go home! Thankyou very much!

We spent a night at the Camcase Snug and we loved our stay! We regularly go to overnights in lodges and this is definitely one of the nicest ones we have been too. All of the small details were perfect, and Jo was extremely helpful with any queries we had. Our only small complaint would be the drive up the hill which was quite steep and rocky with a few holes, but we were aware of this prior to booking and made sure we brought our bigger car. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Stayed in the Camcase Snug for one night and it was everything we hoped it would be. An opportunity to fully relax and switch off from the outside world. Exactly what we needed. The Snug itself is great, finished to a really high standard and incredibly comfortable. The views are amazing and the hot tub is the perfect way to take them in.

Me and my girlfriend had a great time here last weekend, the weather was great and the view from the lodge was absolutely gorgeous.

There was sheep nearby which you could see on the drive in and out the lodge which were adorable.

Your only about a 20 minute drive from everything you need which is great and the hot tub was absolutely amazing

We loved our stay from start to finish! The pod is absolutely lovely had everything you need! The views are stunning and we loved the hot tub! Andy and Jo are very helpful and if you need any help they are always there on the end of a phone call to help you out☺️ I will definitely be back at the snug and logie farm again

Loved our stay from start to finish. The beautiful views and cabin is amazing. Everything that you need for a relaxing stay! Was very grateful for the little touches such as fresh milk and snacks. Place was spotless and can’t wait to return in the summer!

The snug was beautiful and the views are stunning. We were disappointed though with much of what was offered. The tech is great, the hot tub lovely:what would have made a difference to us though was some attention to detail.
Although Jo popped up with coffee pods and water, I had to email to ask. It’s a lot of money to have to chase the basics. Milk in the fridge which was great, but not even a biscuit left. The tea/coffee set up was a bit grubby, crumbs in the drawers and old sugar. There were daffodils in a vase but these were wilted.
We tried to have our wine and nibbles which we’d purchased from the local coop but there was no bottle opener, not even a knife or a plate to eat from, no teaspoon to eremove a teabag. We did search every drawer and cupboard, I used my lipliner in the end.
I’ve just returned from a similar stay up north and it was the little touches that made it feel luxurious, and it wasn’t even half the price.
This was a valentines treat for myself and my partner but we didn’t feel spoiled, such a shame as the pods and the views are lovely.
I also paid extra for a fire pit pack. Unfortunately, the weather was too wet and windy for this so we couldn’t use it. It is certainly not a cheap stay, style over substance I’d say.

I highly recommend staying here we had the best time. The work put into making everything feel so homely and all the little touches make it so much more special. The views are great and Andy and Jo (the owners) are so helpful and kind as we got lost on our way and they were there to help straight away. We will be returning and had the best time. We have already recommended to family and friends.

This place is wonderful! So beautiful and cosy inside and stunning views outside. Hot tub was amazing, we were in and out loads during our stay. The iPad to control lights and temperature etc was brilliant. We used the fire pit during our stay and roasted marshmallows at night which was so lovely. We took a lot of food and drink so we could stay there the whole time but ordered take away on second night which was lovely 👍 Will defo be back!

Great experience, brilliant views and luxury pod, bed was really comfy and Hottub was amazing. Was really peaceful we will definitely be booking again.

We stayed at the Snug for one night for my Wife Susan’s Birthday it was very comfortable and warm, we loved the hot tub, never managed a fire pit as was a bit windy, Our dog Erik had a great time exploring the area around the Snug
All in all a great and enjoyable experience for the three of us.

I cannot fault the Snug at Logie Farm. It was the most relaxing get away and was desperately needed after busy spells at work for me and my partner. The lodges are clean with beautiful interiors. The hot tub was made all the better with the stunning views. The perfect get away for some peace and quiet. We added on the fire pit package which I would recommend. Our initial attempt at the fire didn't last long but Andy was amazing and popped up to the lodge to help us out. Jo was on hand by a quick text for any queries during the stay. Both fantastic hosts.

We are just home from the snug for the fourth time this year. We absolutely love it there, we go to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life. It’s perfect, I mean it literally is the perfect place. The peace and tranquility we feel when we are there we’ve never felt anywhere else. Jo and Andrew are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. The snug will always be a special place for us and we will continue support this local family business. If you are looking for a romantic break this is the most beautiful snug with breathtaking views which gives an amazing feeling of calm.

What an absolutely gorgeous experience our stay was. The pod was incredibly clean and so modernised. The views from the pod were stunning (both day & night) and we even managed to spot a couple of shooting stars from the hot tub. As the pods are very secluded, I highly recommend planning out food in advance which we done based on the recommendations provided which were incredible (Frasers Pizza in Newburgh).
The only downside for us was all the outdoor lighting options are all solar and not a single one came on. If not for the fire pit, we would be sitting in the pitch black, when the pod next door had all their lights working which made the atmosphere look so much more cosy & romantic. It would have been nice to have an option that didn’t rely on solar. Other than that, our stay was absolutely incredible and would highly recommend if looking to get away for a night or two. I look forward to booking another stay.

Amazing place . So relaxing and peaceful. There really is everything you need in the pod. Kettle, coffee machine , tea coffee, crisps milk etc
Views are stunning. Little shops in Newburgh a few minutes down the road. We have nothing negative to say about our stay it was the best day and night . We will definitely be back

We had a great time on the California suite. The pod was very clean and well thought out, the outdoor patio was spacious and the hot tub was great! Some small tweaks would make the place perfect. The main issue was food. The bbq pit provided is very small and we didn’t get a lot of charcoal (the extras are prettt expensive). There was no foil, sharp knives, pans or condiments etc provided so it meant having to go to the coop to buy a lot of things. With the food options being limited, we felt like the bbq could do with being a bit better. That said, we eventually managed to get a meal put together! A canopy over the hot tub would be a great addition so that we could get more use of it on rainy nights. Regardless, we loved our stay at the snug and will definitely be back in the future!

I couldn’t recommend this place more. Fantastic stay, great escape and beautiful views. A lovely place if you want to just get away and shut off from the world. We also used the local recommendations for food which was brilliant. The price really suited our budget. The only suggestion I’d say is when we were in the hot tub, there is not much privacy between the pods. However I can not wait to book again and will be recommending this place to all my friends and family.

Myself, My new Husband and our Dog Mini-Mooned at the California Snug at Logie Farm on 5th August 2023 for three nights. The views were absolutely lovely and we were blessed mostly with lovely dry weather, so fully utilised the hot tub (which had just been cleaned out), fire pit and outdoor areas of a late afternoon evening after venturing out in the day. The snug itself is cosy yet clean and modern. The aircon was essential and worked well. In terms of the location itself- not too much to do around there in terms of 'routed' dog walks- just some fields, amd not many food options, so we ventured out around 35-45 mins away per day to see some sites (Tentsmuir, St Andrews, Eli), give our (large breed) dog good varied walks and get some food. We got a takeout (collected) Chinese from Newburgh one night which was good. Any issues we had, Jo sorted for us very politely and in good time. She was lovely and friendly.
The pod is dog friendly, as was the host, providing a towel, biscuits, poo bags and a bowl etc- but for our (albeit large breed dog- who we brought knowing it was called a snug..) it probably wasn't too dog logistical! We were on top of each other a bit! Plus It would be great if there could be a gate accessing the snug from the road so that our dog could have been able to roam on the decking/grass within our area, whilst we relaxed in the hot tub- rather than running up to the road, meaning we had to put him on a lead or risk jump out in our swimwear! (bring a long lead if you have one!) . Also a outdoor tap/water facility to wash boots and muddy paws before stepping back into the snug would have been perfect! Overall it was a lovely stay for our mini moon, we travelled from north west England so wanted to explore Fyfe and so did go out and about. As a couple for a short romantic break I would recommend but if considering bringing your dog like we did I would bear in mind these things!

We had an amazing 2 nights at the snug and it was just what the doctor ordered. We stayed in camcase and everything was just perfect. The bed was very comfy also which was a big plus. The pod was very clean and cosy and has a beautiful outside area with fireplace and hot tub which looks on to the most stunning views.

We hope we can come back very soon. Amazing place and don't hesitate to book.

Stayed here for 2 nights in July, to celebrate to my partners 40th Birthday. The snug has everything you need and more, and the views are outstanding. My new happy place. Can’t wait to return!
