I got into Lockets not long into lockdown. I mean, who wouldn't want colourful legs to cheer them up while the world was going to pot?
I ordered a good few pairs. I bought pairs for friends, and my mum.
I massively bought into the "limited" stock special offers.
I bought into the hype about the compression of the active leggings, only when I got them, the fit wasn't great. So my next pairs of actives, I followed the advice that Lucy herself and her group admins gave, of sizing down for greater compression. But what happened was the pattern then massively whited out. I'll be honest, I thought this was normal. Until I tried other brands, they fit better, they don't white out.
Then there was the lies about the casual fabric being the same. Despite denying any change, it later emerged that they had changed manufacturer, so although the fabric composition might well be the same, it is clearly being manufactured in a different way. Customers asking questions about fit, whiting, sizing, were getting their comments deleted. Or the standard reply "email customer services." Now in my eyes, that was to stop others realising there was in fact a huge problem. "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" Anything Lucy and the team thought even vaguely negative was shut down ASAP. You cannot possibly continue to grow your company if you're not listening to your customers.
Which leads me to the killer, that finally ensured I would NEVER buy from Lockets again. I got banned from commenting on the Lockets business page, for very politely pointing out about the "exclusive only for Valentine's" make up bag should not have then been included in this week's "order this weekend and get a free gift." This was false advertising. I also stated I wouldn't apologise for starting facts. This got me banned.
Decent companies take on customer feedback, Lockets however just do not seem to care one iota. They can't seem to bear ANY kind if criticism, even constructive.

You denied that anyone with my name was banned from your page, which is a lie, because I am. But then you removed that part of the reply. So excuse me for having no belief that customer services are going to do anything to solve any issues I may have.

Don't get me wrong, the patterns on the leggings are fab, that's what drew me to this brand in the first place, and I have many many pairs, however latterly the quality just is not the same!
I ordered 3 pairs just after christmas, i wore one pair ( jazzy jaguar) but found them to be much smaller than previous pairs, and shorter in the leg too, they barely reach my ankles and i am not tall (5ft 4)
I sent two pairs back but am stuck with the others as i removed the tags and wore them..they have rubbed up and become rough to the touch in certain parts.
I dont believe in slagging off the brand unnecessarily, and dont believe it's a witch hunt but people are spending their hard earned money on these products and i'm sorry but the newer release leggings are inferior quality for the price.
I have been trying other brands and have found them far superior to lockets, unfortunately i will not be spending my money on lockets again which is a shame, but they're just mot the same as they used to be.

Company contacted me & requested my order number so they could look into it for me.....still heard nothing back from them...says it all really! What poor customer service! I am really disappointed with this company as a whole and won't be shopping with them again..

I very rarely leave reviews, however there has been some unnecessary spite aimed at LLL recently which I don't think accurately represents the brand.
I have been buying lockets for a couple of years now and never had any issues. The quality is great, pricing pretty much the same as other companies with similar products and the designs are awesome. There are also frequent sales and promotions too so what's not to love?!

I ordered a couple pairs of casual leggings as I can’t really find them anywhere else online. I do like them, they are comfy and look lovely. But the sizing isn’t the best. The active leggings come is size 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 ect, but casual only has 3 sizes that “fit all”. The smallest of which is 8-14. Since they stretch so much to fit such a wide range of sizes, they are too big for someone size 6-8 and they don’t do smaller ones. When you first put them on it’s ok but they stretch and get too loose after a couple hours.

Lucy Locket Loves was my first foray into funky leggings, drawn in by some seahorses casual leggings. Based on my experience, I decided to try some other brands for comparison. Oh my! Better fit, higher waist, cheaper active leggings with no white out when they stretch, and which don’t budge when running. Casual leggings and loungewear from another different brand that are high (yoga) waisted and/or FAR cheaper, with patterns that are just as funky. It would take a LOT of persuading for me to buy from LLL again, especially given the spate of FOMO marketing tactics I’ve seen on the app and now closed FB group.

I have been buying LLL for quite some time and have way too many pairs of activewear to count! I absolutely love everything I have purchased including new items this year. (Hoodie & Jacket & actives with my Xmas voucher) I really haven't encountered any of the issues that others are reporting, nor did I experience any issue with the Facebook group. I enjoyed following Lucy's story, her highs, lows and all her antics!! If you really want to know how any of the products are I would urge you to purchase for yourself and not be swayed by some of these reviews, some of which are nasty and hurtful and totally unnecessary. Being kind is an action, not just a phrase!

Edited to add, Lucy Locket Loves had this review removed as apparently I wasn't a customer. I sent emails proving I'd been sent multiple wrong orders, and proof of orders over the time I'm reviewing.

You can't request your customers place a review, then get all the negative ones removed!!

I've been buying these leggings for a few years now (well not for a few months) and initially the quality and fit were fine. I only ever bought them when they were on offer as, to be honest, they didn't match the quality of similarly priced brands. However, as time has gone by, quality has definitely declined. The pattern spoils with the slightest stretch of the material - just sticking a foot in too rigorously causes the pattern to white out. There is no "holding in" quality now, they just stretch to fit over you! And the fit is poor, with baggy bits behind the knee and at the ankles.

I also found I was sent the "wrong" leggings on a few occasions. Strangely, every time the pair I'd ordered was out of stock - so I'd be offered a 50% discount if I wanted to keep the 'accidental wrong pair'. Maybe I'm cynical but it's a great way to get rid of unwanted stock!

Sadly the Facebook community has gone rogue now too! What started as people supporting others doing sports and fitness, and praising effort relating to fitness has turned into a bizarre cross between a problem page and a cult. Far too much over-sharing of personal problems, photos which should stay private and people spamming the group as if it's their personal blog. 50 odd photos at a time could accompany a single post which had no relevance to the page!
What was once a page celebrating fitness turned into a "what lockets are you wearing to slob on the sofa?".

Links were banned, with members being muted if they dared to share a link to help someone .... but Lucy would share codes to enable her to benefit from things like money off food! She'd also share links to products she'd been given, encouraging her customers to spend money with people who were giving Lucy freebies! I also felt very uncomfortable when fundraisers and sponsorship were shared by Lucy and her team. I'm sure there was a fundraiser to pay for a staff member's dog to be bought to the UK at one point! All whilst Lucy bragged about the thousands of orders coming in, each day. With the worrying adulation from some members, you did wonder if they could really afford to things they paid into - like the whip around to buy pizza for the staff after yet another whinge about how hard they worked! The constant posting by Lucy of very expensive getaways and holidays, presents and other items was in poor taste too, when many members would post about financial hardship on the same group.

And the admins were plain rude! They way they spoke to customers at times was embarrassing, especially if they dared ask a question about sizing or dared criticise an item they'd received!

So, back to the product. What I was sold as a "small ethical family business" appears to be an import business of Chinese tat.... with a huge mark up and dubious marketing practices! Constant sales, pressure to buy limited stock (which often makes a reappearance) and getting rid of unsold items by selling as mystery boxes! It just smacks of greed these days.

I’ve got 20+ pairs of lockets and I’m really disappointed with the recent ones. The sizes are inconsistent. I race happily in my old actives but I’m much less happy with more recent orders (not particularly recent now, but definitely different from my original pairs).

Customer service was great initially. Find it very difficult to be in the group now due to all the moaning about being busy etc so it’s easier now it’s shut. It was always so strange that any queries about quality were muted immediately.

Bought my fist leggings in 2018. Fabric was lush, soft , thick, very stretchy good sizing. Bought my last pair around may 2020. Awful quality, thin, whiteout, sizing is off and it if it catches on anything at all, you get ladders or bobbles. I now only own /wear my/buy pre-2020 as preloved. Swapped to kukubird which I’m over the moon with and they cost a half as much.
Some of the posts on the community about the lavish spending habits of the employees and owner is also distasteful. Giving two stars because I have a few leggings (carnival, Russian dolls, mason monsters) that I absolutely adore. I love my lucky cats but the material is so bad I wanted to cry 😢

Recently ordered some of the Diane buswell collection. Love the print however feel the quality has gone down

I gave the company a second chance after receiving really bad customer service last year.. however now noticing many of the items ive purchased are not wearing the way id expect for the prices. I had one pair where the stitching failed after 2 wears.

I agree with what someone stated below about the constant sales and the pressure they put on things being limited in number I find distasteful. And also a bit immoral as some people will buy when they can't afford with the fear of missing out

This company preaches all these wholesome values but they have no issues in pressure selling albeit it disguised!

i cant order the actives anymore as their new fabrics stretch too much for me over my legs so pattern fades out - if i size up then the waist is too big so just not s good fit for me now sadly
love their loungewear still though!

I was a massive fan of LLL leggings over the last 12 months. There was definitely a change in quality a short while back - fit was different and they definitely showed white at any slight stretch in the fabric (actives). I went from being confident in them to worrying they'd look awful at the slightest stretch. They also get worn patches after a couple of uses which is really annoying and means they are almost impossible to sell on as well. It seems that despite the same complaints from a lot of customers re the quality they have no plans to change back or address it so sadly I can't risk purchasing any.

I'm also put off by the contant 24 hour offers and sales. Just the other week they pushed people to buy to gain points on their loyalty system over a weekend and then put a sale on a couple of days later. It continues in a cycle like that all the time (and you can see people have bought stuff they didn't need as there are so many items on sale in sale groups). It makes them money which is what a good business does (get as much out of people in a short time) but it definitely isn't inviting to me. My main advice is don't pay full price as there will be a sale or an offer at some point.

I hate to leave a negative review but they really do need to start listening to people.

The last lockets I bought were the Christmas leggings for me and my 3 children, I absolutely love them. I did think that the children's sizes were on the smaller side but apart from that they looked absolutely beautiful. Thankyou xx

I own several items from here but disappointed that some of my activewear leggings are starting to bobble and look old.
I understand that over time this will happen but at £33 a pair I expect them to look new for more than a few wears and washes.
Either the quality needs improvement or the price needs to be lowered as they just aren’t worth the money.

Edit- changed from 2 to 1 star as Lucy locket flagged it as a fake review. Proof of orders have been sent to trust pilot.
Why don’t you listen to the reviews and learn from them instead of flagging anything negative.
Will definitely never use this company ever again and would advise others not to.

I have been buying lockets quite a while mainly casual and loungewear. I have noticed over the last few orders that the fabric feels thinner and the loungewear are definitely shorter then before. I liked the loungewear as I have very long legs and they the only thing I have found long enough for me but not the case now. Also noticed the casuals seem small in size as well. And no I've not put on lockdown weight if anything I've lost.

As I've started to do more exercise I thought I'd invest in some activewear and I ordered from the new collab collection. Well that was the last order I will make. Poor quality fabric definitely not true to size and the stitching was coming apart before I even tried them on. And as for white out you only have to spread your hand inside the fabric to get them to go white and see through.

I contacted them by email with images of the poor quality and the fact a size 12 top which was actually bagged wrong nd was a 14 was clearly to fit a 12yr child as I was not getting it on and I'm not very well endowed in that area. The 1at thing I received was a £10 gift voucher to try and encourage me to buy again after stating in my email I wouldn't be buy from them again as quality has clearly changed and they seem very cheaply made for the price you pay.

I did receive a full refund for the faulty items. But I will not be buying again and have started to explore other companies out there.

No suprise, my review has been flagged by Locket Loves as not genuine. I have sent the relevant proof to Trustpilot. What little respect I had for this company has just gone. Why would somebody who hadn't had a genuine purchase from this small company take time out of their day to review them. Bit sad really but there you go.

Quality has taken a nosedive.
I own quite a few pairs of older fabric actives and wore them day in day out without any problems. My favourite pair came available which i waited a long time to get and within a couple of hours the fabric had pulled on something and they were ruined. The newer fabric feels different to the older ones. Its more of a brushed feel rather than smooth. If this is down to the apparent new 4 way stretch fabric then I think they have made a huge mistake. I only buy from the sales, to ask upwards of £30 for a pair of leggings that could be ruined if your dog jumps up at you is a bit of a joke. I wont be buying anymore of these leggings as I have found a different brand I prefer.
I did contact customer services and was sent out a replacement but I'm reluctant to wear them as the fabric is awful.
I also bought a pair of causals which were also nothing special, the waistband is uncomfortable and they show wear in the crotch after a couple of wears.

I love my LLL leggings, they are super stretchy and don't fall down... Let me repeat that Don't. Fall. Down.
As a plus size female trying to find sports wear which is fit for purpose is a challenge so to find a company that not only makes excellent sports wear but in funky prints and colours is amazing.

Just received my first purchase from the new Dianne Buswell actives range. Also purchased the new tie back vest top. Really happy with my purchases. Great pattern and fit with the actives. Will definitely be buying more! So comfortable and great for exercising! Passed the squat test! The vest top looks great over a crop top or sports bra. All I need is some warmer weather to make the most of them! Great experience, arrived quickly and received updates about delivery. Thanks!

I've been purchasing leggings from LLL since almost day 1 and they are fantastic! They are extremely customer friendly and any problems with your order or your items they're just an email away and will resolve it as best as they can. Cater for all sizes and are just brilliant! Loungewear are very comfortable too. Highly recommend to all my running and gym friends on a regular basis.

I used to love LLL - I have a large collection, mainly activewear but casuals and some loungewear too. When I discovered LLL I loved the ethos of the brand and the accompanying Facebook community group. The relentless positivity and encouragement on there kickstarted my C25k attempts, and a new love of yoga. Everybody's achievements were celebrated and no-one was made to feel bad about themselves. I love the actives I already have, they fit me well and I do love wearing them. However, I have refused to buy any since the Halloween sizing issues, as this was rapidly followed by Christmas sizing and quality issues. Despite regular complaints by customers, LLL still continued to release many new products, rather than focus on improving their main product. The FB page declined at great speed - far too much moaning by Lucy herself, and her staff, about how hard they were working and how stressed and exhausted they were. An absolute insult to our frontline workers who know the true meaning of stressed and exhausted right now. The positivity disappeared and the page seemed to stop being about health and fitness, and became just a free-for-all with utter nonsense posts being allowed through, but nothing allowed regarding the fit and quality of the actual products. The final straws for me right now are 1) the embarrassing collaboration with the amazing Dianne Buswell. She had nothing to do with designing the products and just picked her favourites from a selection given to her, and 2) the stocking of some tops which don't go above a size 16/XL. The excuse for this is that 'the manufacturer doesn't make them any bigger'. Then don't stock them. LLL prides (or did) itself on being size-inclusive, this is NOT being size-inclusive. I genuinely cannot understand why they would do this. Either find a supplier who fits your brand and ethos, or refuse to stock anything that doesn't. It is shameful and disgusting, and smacks of money-grabbing. Having emailed regarding this, I received a pathetic response back stating 'we have lots of products that cover all of our sizes, including our core product which is the leggings, some that unfortunately don't at present, but we are trying to source them'. I am so, so disappointed in LLL right now. Until I know the fit has become consistent, and the quality has dramatically improved, they have lost a previously loyal customer.
