It has taken me a while to write this…
It has taken me a while to write this review as I had to really think about what to say , but I can only go on my experience. I'd been thinking about a will for a while so thought I'd call call around to see what I needed to do and what to expect. My first call was to "secure legacy" and unfortunately I found myself lost in what was happening. Before I knew it I'd paid for an appointment. In my first call to enquire i was told that my appointment that I paid for would explain everything to me , what I didn't realise is that I was supposed to know everything before hand , if not they did and will send you a video of Martin Lewis...which you can get free off Internet. After my will will which was so easy on my side , they threw in "POWER OF ATTORNEY " oh yes this is more important than your will and costs a lot more by a few hundred (so please look into this ) I felt at the time I was railroaded as I was offered a discount but didn't have time to think about it as they told me the price would go up if I didn't act now . Unfortunately I paid all they asked and was left in tears as I wasn't comfortable with my decision. I emailed them and told them I wasn't happy and got a call an email not long after ..I was told I could get my money back ..I thought about it and emailed back I want my money. I got called back and after a not nice and uncomfortable long conversation telling me i was sent text and videos, which i can get free off Internet it was agreed I would get my money back , to which I am delighted. To cap it all I'd say if you have looked into every avenue to what you need and what to expect then secure legacy may be for you , if you looking for advice, guidance and a personal touch then I'd look else where. They are impersonal but legal, and in my humble opinion head toward the money more than on heading you in right direction to the right decision. Luckily enough I recorded all my calls with them as they did have me doubting myself. Would I recommend them ....no .
Edited to add . Thank you for your response which I just read here . I can't see how you can make this right as I now have my money back . But I have sent you my information as requested by trust pilot. Also as you commented on your 5 star reviews on here I also read many not 5 star reviews which obviously include mine . I'm pleased some people was happy with the experience with you but to me it's my own experience that matters .

During consultations we explain the options available, including wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, so that clients can decide what is appropriate for their own circumstances. There is never any obligation to proceed with any additional services.
After you contacted us to express your concerns, we promptly spoke with you and were happy to resolve the matter by providing you with a full refund, which was processed the same day.
During our conversation, you confirmed that you were satisfied with the way the situation had been handled following the refund. Our intention is always to ensure that clients feel comfortable with any decisions they make, and if someone decides not to proceed, we will always do our best to resolve matters fairly.

Underhand, bullying tactics
Creation of the will was fine. However, I was pressurised - close to bullied - into also doing a lasting power of attorney. This had never been mentioned and came completely out of the blue; the woman I spoke to seemed surprised when I refused and confused when I said it was a big decision that I wanted to think about. She came up with a lot of flannel about how it was their obligation to tell me and I had to tell her THREE TIMES that I wasn't going to do b it then. She then tried to get me to put a date in the diary to do it! I found her tactics underhand, unprofessional and unethical - I could have been a vulnerable person who would have handed over hundreds of pounds due to the pressure. I would not recommend this company and will certainly not be using them when I'm ready to do my LPA
