Excellent Company!
We have just used More Than Loft Ladders to board our loft, fit a new hatch in the hallway with a wooden ladder. We were really impressed with their service from start to finish. Right from the initial survey to the final installation, everything was handled with professionalism, care and attention to detail. Oli took time to explain which way was best to have the ladder (the original was awkward & in the bathroom).
The fitters arrived promptly and left everything spotless, they even removed some items we could not remove ourselves. After the original work was completed (half of the loft) we decided to ask them to board the rest of the loft, giving us a lot more space to utilise. Another date was arranged to suit us for the fitters to return.
We would highly recommend More Than Loft Ladders, the quotes we got were very reasonable.

I used ‘more than loft ladders’ to do…a semi permeable membrane cover for the rafters because of crumbling mortar falling into the loft.
I used ‘more than loft ladders’ to do work on my loft. They were very professional,competent and friendly. Their prices are fair and they communicate well. I would be happy to use them again.

I am very impressed with the service from Ben at More Than Loft Ladders.
He was very polite, friendly and efficient.
The loft ladder he fitted for me is very good, easy to operate and makes a big difference to not having to get a separate ladder from the garage every time I want to put items up or down from the loft. The price was very competitive as well.

Outstanding service and excellent loft conversion
Outstanding service from first contact to the install day.
We were talked through the options and given all the information we needed to pick the one that best suited our needs and use of the loft.
Flexibility on install dates was appreciated as we balanced this with another project at our property.
Harvey and James were our installation team and worked hard. They did an excellent job. Both were a pleasure to have in our home, and left us a stunning loft conversion and a tidy house.
Highly recommended as we are delighted.

Chris and his team arrived on time, very pleasant to have in the house.
Kept me updated of their progress and very knowledgeable about the roof space.
They explained exactly what they were doing, and how the hatch and ladder works.
The quote Chris sent was very comprehensive and detailed.

From the home quote through to installation, I can’t fault MTLL.
The guidance and knowledge to select the ideal ladder for my loft was excellent.
The installation by Dan went well, and his professionalism and friendly nature meant the installation was a good experience, especially with my dog wanting to say “hello” every 10mins.

Would highly recommend this company. We had a new bigger hatch, boarding and ladder fitted today. The two young men who came were very pleasant and talked us though everything as they went along. They were finished by 3 o'clock and left everything clean and tidy. Great company 👌

Overall good
After much researching we decided to use MTLL as they were highly regarded on sites such as here and Which. Overall we had a good experience with MTLL. There was some initial confusion with the quotes, an issue with the use of the loft ladders and the finish on the filler around the hatch. After speaking to the Manager and the surveyor all issues were dealt with to our satisfaction. There is room for improvement with regards to communication about arrival times and the returning installer didn't know the extent of the work he was scheduled to do. On the whole we would recommend MTLL. We are very pleased with the work completed.
