It took 18 days to get a card reader. Couldn’t open bank account

The application was a simple process and the making tax digital tools offered will be immensely helpful for when I eventually need them.

Thankfully, I haven’t needed to call a banking manager or Lloyds for that matter for probably 10 years. Good job I haven’t as it’s impossible to get to speak to one. Once you finally get through! You go through with the handler the reason for the call (you know you need a Manager but can’t get through directly). You are then transferred and an auto message tells you no one is available and the call ends. So I tried online help (told to do this in the message) after waiting 3 minutes for every question to be responded to, I’m told to ring the Call Centre. Explained that I had tried this and what I should do now … no response received. Appalling Customer Service

It would be zero stars if possible!! 5.5 months I have been back and forth with Lloyds about opening a simple business account (was told would take roughly 30 days) I own 3 businesses and 3 business accounts with 3 different banks god knows why I chose to apply for Lloyds but I warn you not to waste your time. The lies and incompetence by staff is absolutely staggering! Refuse to respond to emails refuse to answer questions. Send the same emails 3 weeks after the questions required have been answered. Constantly lied to and passed from department to department! Iv “supposedly” been in the outboarding stage for 6 weeks now ! Was told this would take 3-5 days !!! Loss of id documents, wrong names provided on emails, wrong details requested, asking the same spurious questions no matter how many times you will answer them correctly. This little exercise has currently cost me 30 thousands pounds in lost investment due to my investors loosing faith in the company’s ability to be able to obtain even a simple bank account! I have just told them to cancel my application as I simply cannot explain once again what a precious metal refinery business will be doing, baring in mind iv explained the whole process six times already but now they want to know what a precious metal refinery will be producing (the clue is in the name!!!!!) I could go on and on about their incompetence but I feel iv already wasted more than enough time, money and energy dealing with this absolute incompetence!!!!!
