Incredibly rude!
I have used Live Health Online several times over the years. Today, I was assigned Dr. S. Moazzem for my care. I am 41 years old and I have never met such a rude and condescending physician in my life. I will NEVER use Live Health Online again!
Exactly the same as the other reviews
Exactly the same as the other reviews. I put in the notes exactly what my situation was, 30 years of experience and indicated bactrim has worked well in the past. He took my money, but said he couldn't do anything and said I need to get tests in person. I tried to save some money, ended up this costs a lot more in the long run, avoid.
I had an appointment Sonja Y Johnson
I had an appointment Sonja Y Johnson. She had an attitude since the beginning. She corrected me the way I referred to her, I called her Sonja and she corrected me: "is Dr. Johnson". Two things: that sets a distance that's totally counterproductive. That's wrong for a therapist! I understood she is not a Doctor, but a Psychologist, am I right? Really, really bad experience. She was rude, unprofessional and gave me ZERO confidence. Money wasted.
A waste of time and money
A waste of time and money. I answered all the pre-visit questions, including my current medications, but the Nurse Practitioner I got (you can't choose a provider) didn't have any of that information. So I went through them one by one, telling the NP my meds, which are very common, and he had no idea what they were.
Anthem owns the majority shares of LiveHealth Online, and this service is only meant to keep people from going to their real, but more expensive, doctors or urgent care. It's just a revenue stream for Anthem. The stock has tanked, which doesn't suprise me.
Keeps sending annoying satisfaction surveys
I wanted to use the service and emailed them to ask a question about insurance coverage. I didn’t get a straight answer, but they have sent me multiple emails within a few days asking me to fill out a survey about my costumer service experience. One survey email is bad enough but they don’t give up if you ignore them and I have to go out of my way to find a way to unsubscribe. I hate companies that do this.
Bad customer service
I've had to call customer service several times with wait times of 15+ minutes just to get a sick slip which was never delivered, and still isn't. Each time they would say some encouraging words that it will be all figured out, but it has been several days with nothing. Last call they hung up on me as soon as I gave them a case number.
Waste of time and money
Waste of time and money. I had to go see a real Doctor to get the medicine that Live Health should have done in the first place. Never again.
Negative 5 Stars- Atrocious experience
Atrocious experience with customer service. They will double bill and refuse to refund your money. Your insurance and you will end up paying $118.00 for a $59.00 bill because of their poor billing practices. Avoid them at all costs unless you want to pay double for subpar treatment! Customer service will give you six different answers from six different people. At the end of the day, your issue will not be resolved.
Waste of time and money
Had symptoms of a UTI. Paid $80.00 through Anthem. Had all the symptoms except one. Told me to go to my primary care dr. What?! Ordered no test for UTI. TOLD her I had a year ago with same Exact symptoms. She would not listen. 4 minute appt. Most of time asking. Did you get covid shot, flu shot, mammogram. Up to date on colonoscopy, family history, medications etc etc. Asked very little about my symptoms. Rip off . Never again.
I would give zero stars if I could
I would give zero stars if I could. No help at all. Bad bedside manner, incompetent Drs and just useless to even call if they can't provide any type of assistance at all.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I used LiveHealth Online for a routine sinus infection I get every year. Rather than treating it with standard amoxicillin, they forced a 10-day waiting period on me, guaranteeing my symptoms will worsen and spread to my chest. An in-person urgent care would have resolved this immediately. They took my copay, but they won't get another dime. Save your time and money.
Never got my medicine.
Signing up was pretty easy. The actual doctor's appointment was real easy. But they sent in complete information to the pharmacy. After calling them and being given a in case ID number and verified that they would contact the pharmacy. There's still nothing. Twenty four hours after the doctor's appointment, I called again. Twenty eight hours after the initial appointment, I went another route to get the antibiotics. And ibuprofen, I needed for a broken tooth. Zero of ten do not recommend. I will not use again.I wanna refund.
Dead ends and no care
I set up an account with the help of a nurse via my insurance's dial a nurse program. I was instructed to await a call when accessing urgent care online for a prescription issue. Instead of a call I was sent a link, and the link would not open in my phone, giving me a "browser unsupported" issue. I tried the link on my desktop and it was supported, but as the video was being set up the doctor ended the meeting. From message to PC, it was exactly 1 minute. I have the email for the link (8:40pm) and cancellation (8:41pm).
I accomplished nothing, and my urgent issue remains unresolved. Dead ends like this hurt people. My insurance, nurses, and people like myself waste tie on this instead of getting actual help. I hope people see these ratings and save themselves the trouble.
He had no bedside manner and didn't know the treatment
I made an appointment for my daughter. 3 of the 4 in our family came down with cold/flu symptoms and a cough about a week ago. Coughing has been getting worse and my daughter is supposed to start a job at a senior assisted living facility in the coming days. We just received an email saying there is pertussis in my 16 year old's class and he was the first to get sick. As it is Mother's Day, we thought telehealth was the best way to be treated. The doctor she received had no bedside manner and honestly treated her like she was here to get pain killers or something. He not only was short and irritable sounding, but told us that pertussis wasn't treated with antibiotics so she should just take some day quill and wear a mask. If you search Pertussis, it is treated with antibiotics. And that was confirmed earlier by MY telehealth doctor through a different system (I have different insurance). I don't know his name because none of the emails or texts we've received state his name, so I can only assume ALL of livehealthonline.com's doctors are ill aquipped to be doctors. I give 1 star because we didn't have to wait long to get a doctor, but no more because he was awful.

Consistently Excellent Care and Responsive Providers
My experience with LiveHealth Online has been consistently positive, and that reliability is what stands out the most.
Every time I’ve scheduled a visit, the process has been smooth, and more importantly, the providers have been attentive, professional, and easy to communicate with. I’ve never had to second-guess whether my concerns would be taken seriously—the level of care has been consistent across each visit.
One of the biggest differences compared to other platforms is access and responsiveness. I’m able to connect with a provider without long delays, and the overall experience feels much closer to a traditional, quality healthcare interaction rather than a transactional service.
If you’re looking for a telehealth platform where you can reliably speak to a provider and feel heard, this has been one of the better options in my experience.
Waste of $55
Waste of $55. Sick 3 year old with green congestion, cough, low fever off and on and ear pain. Her pediatrician was fully booked so we decided to do telehealth. Refused to give an antibiotic because “95% of the time it’s viral. Just give her muncinex”. Never asked to see her on the screen or anything. Literally read my short description and made his decision.
Ended up at a doctors office later that day anyway. Recommended a chest X-ray due to bad cough. Diagnosed her with possible pneumonia and we left with prescriptions for 2 antibiotics, an inhaler, a steroid and a nebulizer. Won’t be using livehealth online again!
Less than a zero
Less than a zero, I requested a female dr and she came on for 2 seconds then dropped. An a male dr who was hostile about my request for medication, asked for "proof" so show I have had it in the past. The most demeaning experience to have a male dr tell me about my female problem. I asked for a refund and they refused. I will dispute with my credit card company. Dont' use this misogynistic, abusive company.
Anthem pushes to this app and then…
Anthem pushes to this app and then charges you to see a provider who provides no service, just gets paid to tell you that they can't do anything. I used them for a very simple need, (very mild infection, which i have had identical symptoms a few times in the past 10 years) no high risk, easy to diagnose and treat. Nope, the NP just gave me inaccurate information and said to go be seen in person. Thanks for charging me for nothing.
