I have been a user of Light Blue since I set up my business in 2014. Even then the software helped to automate much of the admin and even better it has morphed over the years to take away the stuff that stops me from being out earning money.

The thing I love more than anything about Light Blue is the level of support. The team are quick to respond and give personal responses not some cut and paste from a help-desk tool. If there isn't a solution for what you're doing and they see the business need, it gets added to the new features stack. It doesn't stay there though, we see it appear in releases! A great example of this is payment reminders that I'd been asking for and appeared during 2020. Less admin and better payment options for my customers. That's a win win for my business and yours!

I like the way that it has become a seamless part of my business. It's hard to think of a stand out moment because it's just there, reliably, all the time. It reminds me what I need to do, when I need to do it and it integrates perfectly with my workstreams. I can customise it in almost limitless ways to fine tune anything that I want to work differently & it's all backed up by the best support of any software I've ever owned.

Light Blue is my virtual assistant, book keeper, scary PA who chases up overdue invoices, and sensible co-worker who keeps my life in order and enables me to continuously monitor the health of my business, and the satisfaction of my clients. It is the sole reason I have never double booked myself, failed to invoice for a job, or forgotten an important date. The online portal means I never have to fear data loss, and the team keep innovating with each new year, making Light Blue more integral to the running of my business than ever before: Things like the graphs, reports, online payments, and forms were things I didn't know I needed, now couldn't live without.

I run my entire photography business through Light Blue, from initial enquiry up right until the end of a commission. Light Blue helps me and my team on a daily basis run a smooth, efficient and effective business with ease and speed. I have 2 favourite things about Light Blue. Firstly, it's the Mothership and holds all my information; from client contacts, shoots, invoices, purchases, email templates, pricing, accounts etc., Secondly, the support given by Light Blue is totally brilliant and I feel they've got my back whenever we need help. We would be lost and frustrated without it and I highly recommend Light Blue.

Light blue software has changed how we do business. It's great to have all of our price list booking forms customer information in the one spot, it's easy to use and some of the more advanced features do take a little while to learn but the support is absolutely superb and you'll get an answer almost straight away.

The training videos are really good and give a lot of information on how the software works and to me it has become an invaluable tool running our business, I love how you can have multiple copies on different computers and how there's a central copy backed up in the cloud. I can't recommend light blue enough.

As a photographer this was the software we were waiting for… Absolutely perfect.

It's an invaluable piece of software used for pretty every aspect of our business including customer enquiries and management, sales and purchases, to-do lists, filing our tax return and much more. Light Blue is a life changer when it comes to my photography business, plus the story behind it, that it was started by a couple of guys and grew to the superb tool it is today, is magnificent.

I've been using Light Blue from the early days, and since then I have always pleaded the LB cause, recommended it to many friends and colleagues. It does what it says on the tin, and has got amazing and very responsive support and customer service network. For me, that's the most important.

Despite not using LB to its full potential, what really changed my life and saved me time was when I was able to offer my customers the possibility to sign their contracts online, no more printing and sending the contract by post and waiting to receive it back signed. Such a simple feature but it changed my way to do business for the better.

I tend to overuse the chart feature these days. To be able to see at a glance how much is coming in for any given period, compare it with the year before. This is amazing. I've also recently made use of the mailing lists features to offer a Black Friday discount on albums for couples who had not previously purchased one. And it saved me so much time it's unreal.

Keep up the good work, I love LB and what it does for me and my business.

I started with Light Blue once my business outgrew spreadsheets and it has been amazing! The workflows are fantastic to ensure I know what needs to be done each day and the email & text features are brilliant for keeping in touch with clients. It's really powerful software and the support is great too, quick to reply and really helpful. I would recommend it to everyone, I couldn't survive without it!

Light blue is a life saver. It makes preparing for a shoot so much easier. How you manage your cliënts, the follow-up, easy and quick invoicing and of course, the online contract signings. All this and so much more make Light Blue a must have for all photographers.

LightBlue saves me lots of time throughout the shoot workflow, I have lots of templates setup with the system some of which I send out as I need to, for example shoot deposit invoices, and others such as shoot reminders and enquiry follow up that's LightBlue sends for me automatically. My favourite feature is a clearer head not trying to remember where I am up to with each shoot. As I often have many shoots overlapping it can get confusing but with the built in workflows that are completely customisable you can see quickly where you're up to.

We have been using light blue from the very early days and seen the system go from strength to strength. Within the first few weeks of using the software it proved its worth when we had a break in at the studio and all our machines where stolen. Fortunately our images work backed up and our client date was stored in the cloud but a few weeks before this our client system was stored locally and we would have lost everything if we hadn't moved to Lightblue.

My favourite thing about Lightblue though is the workflows. We run a busy School Photography company and each booking generates about 15 different tasks, Lightblue allows us to build the workflows so that no task is ever forgotten.

I have used Light Blue software since 2013. It manages all my accounts, shoots/dates, booking forms, contracts, clients and more. It links everything perfectly with my other computers/mobile, so I always have the required information to hand. When it comes to giving my accounts to my accountant, it's a simple process of creating the correct reports and sending. There are numerous tutorials for all aspects of the software but If I've ever had a query understanding how a particular function works, they are immediately on hand to assist. Keeping every aspect of my photography business organised is fantastic. I'd have no hesitation in recommending both the software and the company to anyone.

Quite simply Light Blue Software transformed the admin process of our studio. At the time we implemented it our studio business had gone through the roof - we had brought in additional staff but were struggling to keep on top of the admin and keep track of what we should have been doing and when. So we looked around at a number of different studio solutions and Light Blue Software came out on top, We have never looked back - it saves us hours of time and keeps the studio running like clockwork. I have lost count of the number of photographers I have recommended this software to and I will continue to do so. The support (in the rare event you might need it) is second to none as well.

There is a lot more to being a photographer than taking photos: the planning, client relations, administration, and on and on. Light Blue has transformed all of this work into an enjoyable part of my professional workflow. I have greatly improved by ability to generate leads, manage my time, and refine my services for different clientele. Overall, this has allowed be to establish a degree of professionalism - for my clients and myself - that make me proud of my work. Customer service with Light Blue is outstanding.

I've been using Light Blue for a few months now. Setting up the software was relatively easy but made even easier by the Light Blue team. After an online one to one, the software was set up and ready to go.
The transformation to the way my business was immediately obvious. Invoicing could be done in seconds instead of minutes. People can now pay securely online. Forms & contracts can now be signed remotely and imported into the shoot details at the click of a button!
Managing my time was an issue before Light Blue. I had to check the manual diary, enter shoots and meetings in the diary and on the wallchart. Light Blue did away with all that! I can see at a glance where I need to be at a certain point in time. I really don't know how I managed without it before!
I can control pretty much all my business from one piece of software now. This gives me the confidence to know that I'm where I should be, when I should be and what I'm expected to do when I'm there.
The workflows can be set up to suit me and the shoot. People get sent automated reminders so they don't forget to attend a shoot or meeting. My customers have confidence in me as they know I'm on the ball and will be ready when they turn up to the studio, or I turn up to their wedding, etc.
The software provides a daily "to do" list which ensures nothing is missed. Birthdays and anniversaries can be shown which makes it easy for me to keep in touch with my clients on a timely basis. This helps enormously with advertising as my clients are grateful that I've remembered their anniversary and it also keeps my business in the back of my mind. At least 90% of my work comes from either repeat business or recommendation by previous clients. Light Blue helps keep my business in their mind. It's invaluable for that.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Light Blue software for your photography business. It makes the mundane quick and easy. It makes the running of the business much easier and more efficient. It gives me confidence, it gives clients confidence in me. If there was ever a piece of software that is a no brainer, Light Blue is it!

Light Blue has organised my whole business. Really not sure how I managed without it. Gone are the days of trawling through all my notes, or using a variety of apps to keep all the information. Now it's all in one, very adaptable place with all the tasks I need to keep on top of coming up when they need to be done.

We've been using Lightblue for quite a few years now and I have to say it has made running our business so easy. Prior to that we'd been using a combination of spreadsheets, sticky post-its, note pads and a wall planner! In a previous life I had used a fairly comprehensive software package to manage sales, purchases, stock, pricelists, accounts and an integrated online shopping website. When I started with Lightblue I was immediately impressed by how intuitive it was. The reporting tools are so good that my accountant colleague (from my previous job) thought it was far better than our old system. Even my current accountant is impressed with the financial reports I send him each year.
Aside, from the accounting aspect, the fact that the system is based around "Shoots" is a godsend for photographers. Creating a shoot from an enquiry is so simple and adding your own custom workflow means you stay on top of your enquiries every day. No more losing stick notes and forgetting to follow up those precious leads.
The integration with Stripe is another major benefit. Being able to pay booking fees or invoices online is just so professional and reassuring for clients.
2020 has been a crazy year for all photographers, especially those of us in the wedding business. Between wedding postponements and cancellations, trying to manage all of that juggling would have been a nightmare without a system. Lightblue was able to handle all the upheaval without missing a beat. Even something simple like changing the shoot date and having your subsequent workflows date change automatically made life so much easier.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending Lightblue to other photographers. The support team are without doubt the best I've come across. I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes for a response to a query which is unheard of these days.

Lightblue software allows me to track my work from the initial enquiry to completion. I can record all transactions, produce professional queries, invoices and communications for clients. The ability to use email templates and price-lists greatly speed the response time to enquiries and all communications are fast, efficient and have my branding. Help and support from Lightblue is first class and responsive and there is a personal touch that is missing from large software companies. Throughout the pandemic, they have helped their customers in ways that have surpassed all my expectations. I could not recommend them highly enough.
