I would highly recommend Light Blue to others because the 1:1 training sessions have been unbelievably helpful. I’ve booked multiple sessions and each one has left me feeling like I’ve genuinely achieved something. The system itself is very user-friendly and easy to use once you know how and the training has saved me a huge amount of time in my day-to-day work.

Having ADD means it can sometimes take me a little longer to understand and process information, but the fact that the sessions are recorded has been invaluable. I can go back and revisit the parts I need to, at my own pace, which makes a massive difference. My favourite thing about Light Blue is that once you have set up your workflows and personalised everything, it's ready to go. I now feel confident using the system and know that my clients will feel looked after every step of the way!

I've used Light blue for years to help organise my small business BUT I used it on a basis of what worked for me until I saw the light and realised how much more it can do for me. I was a very manual person sending texts email at each stage but a free 1-2-1 call with Sarah has helped me completely make it automated. I no longer have to think about the steps between an enquiry to follow up to booking to shoot! Game changer for me when time is precious and other things need to be done for a sole photographer. Spend a little time to set it up and Lightblue will take care of the admin for you I cut recommend it enough

I’d definitely recommend Light Blue to any photographer or photo booth company. It’s made a huge difference to how I run my business helping me manage over 300 events a year and keep on top of 1000+ enquiries effortlessly. Ian was brilliant in helping me set up some tweaks and automations, how to import everything with zapper, and create a smooth hands off workflow so I can respond to customers quickly and stay organised. It’s honestly been a game changer for keeping everything running efficiently. This also included sms messaging which I haven't used much previously.

I love that the replies to customers look professional with the branding and templates.

Light Blue has been very good customer data base for us. We switched over from another CRM that I used for over 30 years here in the states. One of the best things I like about Light Blue is their customer support. When learning a new software I think that is #1 to have a human to speak to not a chat feed, knowledge base etc. That is not support, nothing will ever take the place of speaking to someone who can talk and walk you through the process. Sarah, is a wonderful trainer and so patient and always has an answer even if it is a work around, thanks Sarah! I have spoken to Ian and he was helpful as well. It is an important part of helping out business run smoothly. I like that there is the desktop and mobile app and everything syncs.

I am learning more everyday and looking forward to the new release. Thanks Light Blue!

The help! When I get stuck I reach out and the reply is fast (sometimes very fast) also love the fact that you can book a one to one when you need to know more stuff. The support with Lightblue is one of the main reasons I have never moved away 😀

I have been with Lightblue for many years now and there is still so much I don’t know about the software. I have email templates saved, contracts, basically my life is ran with Lightblue.

The best business software out there. Everything in one place at your finger tips and always kept bang up to date. Great team who respond immediately if you have any issues and its very intuitive. Been using the software for over 10 years and wouldn't ever change.

For me, Light Blue gives me peace of mind that I can never double book myself! Isn't that every photographer's worst nightmare?!

It's so nice knowing I can set my own workflows and I know I'll never miss a key step in the booking, through to image delivery and beyond, for my clients. I know I am always on track at each stage of their journey with me.

Invoicing is quick and simple, I can easily track my income and expenditure and I can quickly input expenses too.

One of the most wonderful things about Light Blue though, is their excellent customer service. Nothing is too much trouble, the team are incredibly kind and they're SO quick to help out if ever there is a query or problem to solve.

So where to start really.
I have been with Tave for over 10 years, was an amazing product until they stopped updating, fixing issues, customer service went downhill.
I searched for another CRM for last 3 years and tried a few.
Then by chance came across Light Blue, and OMG,
first look was daunting, then I started playing around and in 2 days, I won't say I mastered it but I understand a lot of it as it is so straight forward.
Customer service is amazing, you ask a question and you actually get a response in detail. They also offer a phone call to go through the system with you and answer any questions which I will book soon but I have managed to migrate all my shoots over and I really love how much control I have, you can change things move things the way you like, and not stuck with a process, a template which is forced on you. You can customise (to an extent of course) light blue the way you like, the way your business runs, you are in control. and automation that actually works.

I have already started telling all my fellow friends / collegues about Light Blue, it is truly an amazing software.

I switched to Light Blue and by far it's the best decision I have made for our photography businesses! It was overwhelming at first but after some one-to-one calls with Ian, I have now saved endless hours writing out emails, copy and pasting text from one reply to another etc! I literally cannot live with Light Blue anymore and the software is just what I needed to make my admin life easier! Not to mention, the customer service is first class and being UK based unlike the previous company I was with, means that you get answers to any queries almost straightaway rather than speaking to someone at ridiculous hours of the night. LB is the backbone of our entire operation!

When you run a busy photographic business by yourself (plus a mum of three young kids) , there comes a time when keeping clients details on your phone/ calendar/ scraps of paper and excel just doesn't do the trick. I had done that for 7 years and muddled through, cause I never found a CRM that I liked. The result was that I was all over the place with follow ups and keeping track of client details, spend and enquiry / shoot notes.
When I found Light Blue I can honestly say that I breathed a sign of relief. It was so simple to set up and I could use it pretty much straight away.
With Light Blue I pop in enquiries, chats with clients and their emails with ease; so I never have to fumble around looking for pieces of paper with notes scribbled on them. And if I am out or not at my desk then the phone app does the job perfectly. In fact I quite often sit in front of the tv and enter a lead if it comes in during the evening.
Oh and lastly, their customer service is fantastic!!!

Knowing my jobs, contracts, and clients details are all kept in one place across multiple devices makes my life that much easier as a freelance photographer. I can also pull finance reports for when I am doing my tax which makes that process less tedious! My favourite thing about Light Blue is the support. Whatever the reason, when I have had to contact Light Blue they have always been super quick to respond. The care they have for the product and you as a photographer has always been evident. The extra support they have provided for Covid has also been much appreciated, even as they are navigating these times as a small business themselves. Couldn't recommend LightBlue as a product and company highly enough.

There are a lot of photographer CRM databases out there and they all have plusses and minuses. After trying many, I've found that Light Blue does the best job at giving you a stable, adaptable, powerful platform for managing your business. While web apps may appear more "modern", having a desktop app has been a great benefit because it works no matter what's going on with your internet connection and you don't have to wait for the site to load every time you change pages. The data is always there and seamlessly syncs over the cloud in the background. I love how Light Blue takes a traditional database approach by creating records and allowing you to link them all together. It makes it easy to keep track of relationships, sale records, session records, etc. I highly recommend Light Blue to any portrait and event photography business.

Although I don't use Lightblue to its full capabilities yet, I find it hugely useful for my database and also the templates for emails and forms. It's reassuring to know that if I have a query the customer service received from Ian and Dani is absolutely excellent. They provide excellent training and resources too.

Great Photography management software with great customer support

Light Blue is an all-in-one CRM and accounting system and is the backbone of my business. I love how every bit of work I put into the software streamlines the process that little bit more for the next time I use it. The software is extremely powerful and takes time and effort to get it where you need it to be - but it's totally worth it. The customer service is second to none and their financial support during the COVID-19 crisis has been gratefully received. Thank you, Light Blue team!

Thanks to Light Blue I finally feel in control of my business, It allows to have everything about my customers in one place, and is really intuitive and easy to use. Though I am still not using Light Blue to it's full potential, I can't imagine my life without it. I really loved the support that the Light Blue team gives to it's customers. there is help available at all times, and went above and beyond with their help, advice and ideas to help photographers during the lock-down.

Light Blue has evolved over the years to become to become one of the most comprehensive CRM and business management tools for photographers. In this, difficult year they have offered very special support and encouragement to help us get our heads round the system, and this has been very important in helping us to capitalise on its value to us as a business.

Light Blue makes a forgetful old photographer efficient 🙂 It takes care of all the boring business things I don't care to bother myself with.
Shoot workflows have transformed the way I work, reminding me to contact clients when required (or contacting them automatically if I want) and checking that payments have been made when they should have been.
Every shoot I do has a record of every email between me and the client - for weddings that could be emails going back 2 years that I can access within seconds.
I utilise the CRM features more and more as time goes by. All my clients get professional-looking reminder emails and texts, this builds confidence that they are dealing with a professional company, and no-shows are a thing of the past.
Invoicing and accounting are all taken care of. Before Light Blue I'd print off 10-20 pages of reports to take to my accountants, now I spend a minute and a few clicks generating a few reports (I don't even read them) and save them in a Dropbox folder and my accountant is happy.
The reports and charts give a good insight into my business and can be as detailed or as simple as I wish.
I use the mobile app quite extensively to check the diary every morning while waking up with my early morning coffee, and it's great while out and about to bring up job and contact details etc.
Favourite thing... Probably the workflows. Followed by the email templates and CRM features.

So easy to use. So many features that make running the business simple and efficient - from colour coded tasks for following up clients, to integration with viewing programmes for invoicing, online diaries, a comprehensive reports menu - the the list is endless. And the support team is second to none. Totally in love with Light Blue.
