Requested other information that was not required for carrying out identity verification. It was clearly to gather extra data, try and sell other services, and sell your data to other companies. Agent then got incredibly rude after I refused to provide the inappropriate data and couldn't justify/explain why it was necessary, because of course it isn’t.

This company uses an auto subscription scam to sign you up to monthly payments and hopes you don’t notice, watch out if your estate agent makes you use them.

I explicitly DECLINED the option to purchase a subscription after using Lifetime Legal for a required one off service during a house purchase. Three months later, I now notice that I have been opted in to a subscription against my will! Only noticed due to an upcoming charge on my banking app, did not receive any notice from Lifetime Legal. No way to cancel online so will have to waste my time calling customer service during the week. Scam!

I was given the Lifetime legal protection when I had my ID checked for buying and selling a house and have kept it while the whole process is going through. I don't usually pay for subscriptions for anything but I'm so glad I pay for this one. Its only £8.99 per month and this has saved me a fortune. I spent about £1000 on searches, surveys, legal fee's etc for a house, the survey came back and there was unimaginable levels of damage to the house, the estate agent and seller both lied about the property and concealed knowing about the level of damage. I could have lost so much money through no fault of my own but I was able to claim back most of the money I spent using the Lifetime legal protection. I was really pleased with their service, so easy to use and the staff were lovely. I sent off all my evidence and the whole process for my to get my refund was quick and easy. I'm so pleased I will get most of my money back. They also provide a lot of other services you need for when you are buying and selling houses and I would thoroughly recommend Lifetime Legal.
